So for those who haven't heard Minecraft was finally brought over to the Wii U. I for one have been having a little too much fun, {I've made 1 8-bit splatoon squid so far and have a out line for the other... Yeah I'm lazy and haven't figured out what colors >.<} So Creative is my main fun time. However since I have had it for the PS4 I got the seed from that game and I'm working on just basically redoing it onto the wii in creative then I'll go back to me survival game.. Though the voice chat for Minecraft is nice. {Mostly considering you dont have to have a separate mic to speak to the people you are playing with.

So I have to admit I'm quite pleased with it. And if you peoples want to help me with my squid mission of getting a squid of every color up on the miiverse I would be quite pleased. Oh and in my opinion its worth the 29.99? {Cant remember if that is the right price sweatdrop }

Looks cool, nice work! Did you come up with that on your own?

I made a few Yoshi pixel art in my worlds, but I used pics that had all the work done so I just had to place blocks.

How is the multiplayer btw? Does someone have to host it and you can only play when they're on or can anyone be on at anytime? How big is the world? I heard that they didn't even make use of the gamepads touch screen. Like why wouldn't they implement that somehow? Pretty lazy of them.

I was addicted to Minecraft back in the day, but it's been years since I really played it. I'm so out of date on everything that has been added. I was thinking of maybe buying it, though it would have to be good enough reason to since I can just play free already. Hopefully they'll have a sale or something.

Yeah. It took a little bit to actually get the shape right and symmetrical. The only thing I did was pull up a picture of the squid so I could see where the colors and everything went.

The multiplayer is fun.. ish.. {I've only played it once and the people didn't really say much of what to do and it was organized so it messed with my OCD} So far from my knowledge the person that Hosts it has to be online for them to play. The world is pretty big the seed I Brought over from the PS4 was completely there so that's a good thing. So yeah not sure how good the multiplayer is because I'm not that good at getting out there and actually playing with peoples.

They didn't do anything with the gamepad.. It's kind of my only gripe with it because I figured they would make it your inventory or at least some way. That would be very helpful. But if you only use the TV its just a minecraft block on the gamepad. To me its kind of a missed opportunity.

Really the only reason i have it both on the Wii and the PS4 is because I have more friends on the Wii U that play it then the PS4. Though I am still pretty new to Minecraft. Havent even beat the Ender Dragon

Hmm, that sucks that the host has to be online, but I guess there's no better way.

Yeah, it's a huge missed opportunity. Minecraft is on everything else so why would someone buy it on Wii U if they have it already? Making the inventory the gamepad would bring something new to the game that no other version has. In Wind Waker HD the gamepad was the inventory and that was one of the best things about that game. Changing items real quick without pausing was so good. I'm just thinking they were too lazy to add that. Minecraft is a big enough name so it kinda sells itself anyway without that feature, though it would have been real nice.

Oh, you must be having a lot of fun with it then if you're new? Discovering everything for the first time was so much fun.

Yeah it does, but its the same with the PS4.

A lot of people are complaining about it but its eh to me. Yeah I would have liked it but I can play with out it. Wind Waker was very fun considering that aspect well that and the whole nostalgia thing.

Yeah, I have people that help me but I'm not that big on going off and fighting things. Whenever I play with other people I'm just the supply gatherer and constructor/ terra Former. But either way its still soo much fun whee

Oh, didn't know that. Makes sense it would be like console versions though. Is multiplayer still fun like that? Like you can't really do much stuff alone unless the host stays on a lot?

I get why they'd complain. There's just so much potential with the gamepad and it rarely gets used. Motion controls in Minecraft would've been pretty neat too. Yeah, WW is a great game in general, but easy access to everything is so amazing. I wish every Zelda was like that.

That's nice. You like building things? I was never too great at building so I wish there was more adventure things to do.

Yeah its still fun though, I'm on it for a couple hours so yeah xD

But yeah I love building things. I'm fairly good at it though there are some things that I've seen that I've been trying to do. Like the lava chandelier... I've never seen that done so ill probably try it next time i play. But it will look different considering i got the greek pack..
