I'll need help fleshing this out more before it goes to operational status but I thought I'd throw the idea out there and see if anyone was interested.

It's modern day Japan. Things are quiet and fairly peaceful save for the underbelly where the Yakuza clans reign. Demons and creatures of legend are just that--or are they?

Suddenly the underbelly rises to the surface and it's because the Yakuza have contracted demons, half-breeds, and other creatures of Japanese folklore to fight for them. And it seems well enough except the monsters have their own plans and that is to try and overthrow humanity--again--and take down the gods.

Some will step from the scrolls and make legend reality.

Some will be human, masters or the used.

And others will be something else.

What I'm thinking is making this as large a group RP as possible. Have a couple or three clans set up, their demons/whatever, and ordinary people and even legendary creatures aiding humanity looking to stop this era of bloodshed from escalating.

So. Interested? Ideas? Questions?

And no this will not be the atypical "lol lets set this in japan cuz we are kawaii desu" RP.
