Around the bend they found a decidedly not round perzi, "That looks like a better prospect I hope." Kiyelt peered at the cat who was sitting sprawled in the sun watching them with large luminous eyes. "Its definitely not pregnant, and it seems almost mellow hey? Maybe this will finally be the one? Here kitty kitty, your not mean like that ol' Mama are you? I just want to spoil you beyond reason is that too much to ask? " He set his whip down, perhaps not the most clever thing he had ever done but maybe it would save him some angst on the part of the cat. "Be a nice kitty for Kiyelt now, you can sleep in the tent, we can keep each other warm on the cold nights, I won't kick you out when it rains and well there's always tons of food and you get free rent? Hows that?"
The cat stared at him and held his gaze. Kiyelt wasn't fooled when an animal made eye contact it was a challenge. "This isn't going to be pretty."

Ichil stayed back again, knowing that two approaching would be more threatening to the perzi than just Kiyelt. She did pick up his whip as he abandoned it, though. Who knew? Maybe they'd have to run again. If she knew perzi at all there were more just waiting for the chance to attack.
She couldn't help but smile at Kiyelt's insistence that the cat would be treated well. That was pretty sweet, wasn't it? He wasn't just a beast tamer, he really did care for his charges. He wanted a pet, not just another addition to his hoard. She turned and gave Imari a little kiss and then turned back to watch Kiyelt. She saw the perzi staring him down, no matter how content it may seem, and his words confirmed her suspicions.
"I don't think he likes you," Ichil teased, "Your girl just made some comment about rolling his wife home."

Kiyelt turned his head, "My girl huh?" The moment he looked away however the cat leaped on him from behind and he got more scratched in about 50 seconds then he had in his lifetime. He batted at his cat hat and tried to peel the beast off his face. "Ugh! Get him off get him off!" Kiyelt ambled around and eventually scraped the psyco kitty off on the wall. "I wouldn't want you as a pet anyway!" He chased after the cat, stomping and it ran toward Ichil. "Get him Ichil!" Kiyelt called, not sure if he cared now if Imari had herself a little cat snack for the walk home. Kiyelt stormed forward to help Ichil. 300/550

Ichil burst out laughing. She couldn't help it! It was entirely her fault that Kiyelt was attacked, but having a giant cat attached to your face was pretty fantastically amusing. "Ohh..." was her first little sound of pity and she took a few steps forward, but he's already peeled the perzi off and it had begun to run.
" 'EY!" she yelled at the creature and took a few running steps after it. So too did Imari, letting forth a tremendous roar. Even Ichil was brought to pause, but the perzi's eyes lay back as it picked up the speed just a bit and continued into a crevice. She turned back around and saw blood weeping from various scratches on Kiyelt's face. Oh...
She came back to offer him his whip and touched his cheek. "We need to get you cleaned up."

Kiyelt tried to stop the bleeding on his other cheek by pressing a finger delicately to the wound. "Ow." Thankfully the cat had missed both his eyes and his ears. The rest of him wasn't so lucky. At least Ichil was here to help. "Yes I imagine I'm not quite so pretty at the moment huh?" He gave her a crooked grin. "There should be some bandages tucked somewhere on my body, why dont you find them while I hold my skin together?" He felt like he had been attacked by an angry pricklebush..or cactus.. He patted Imari, "Your a good girl going after that kitty. I'm very pleased with this it shows she has a protective streak." 418/550

"Oh, shush, you. You're handsome even with a little blood on you," she said and then stood back a moment. If she were bandages, where would she be? She began in Kiyelt's pockets, trying her best to not touch anything inappropriate. Did he really have to hold his skin together? It hadn't looked that bad. "Maybe we should get you to a healer."
At the comment on her new janarim, Ichil just smiled. A protective streak would be good, right? She'd be safer if she were to travel on the back of such a beast. It was only then she saw the perzi emerging from their caves. "Uh-oh."

Kiyelt was grinning and trying not to imagine innapropriate things though he knew his mischeif was showing in his eyes, he could feel the sparkle. Then her face fell and he looked around. "Not again, I don't want another face cat. Time to find out if Imari will dump us or not, I'll get on first and haul you up that way if she bucks I'll be the one falling off." Darn cats preventing Ichil from finding the bandages he had tucked under his paldron. He swung himself up and waited for the janarim to dump him. 515/550

Imari didn't buck, but she did heave her back at the sudden weight. At least it wasn't enough to toss Kiyelt off. Ichil swung on soon after and wrapped her arms around Kiyelt's waist as she lacked the reins to cling to. Imari gave one last roar toward the perzi and then wheeled around and began back up the other side of the canyon with great strides. Ichil dared to look back and none of the felines had followed. Well that was good at least.
"When we get back, let me clean you up." Were they headed for Tivrod or Jatine anyway? Did it matter?

Kiyelt grinned, "As you wish," he thought that he would have rather more fun then she would. Of course her arms around him had not failed to go unnoticed. He sighed happily and patted the janarim, "What a good girl you are princess." He was very pleased with the newly tamed janarim's performance today, better than could be expected, she didn't exactly listen to where he steered of course but eventually he would get off and lead her back to somewhere, he rather wished he could keep Ichil out here for forever though. "I suppose we have to head back to town?" He twisted on his seat and gave her puppy eyes. 627/550

"Probably," Ichil admitted, pushing her lips over to one side. She really didn't want to go back, but she'd be in more trouble if she stayed away too long. "I have some business I have to attend to anyway." She'd have to show Imari around town too! There'd probably just be more gossip, but who cared? She turned to look behind them again and the canyon was shrinking into the distance. "I want to stop at a shop when we get to town, and then we'll get you cleaned up properly." She didn't want sand in all of Kiyelt's wounds, and she knew a supply shop that sold salves and potions and such.

Eventually Kiyelt got down and led the beastie and his beautiful rider into town, and straight to an apothecary that would hopefully have the things he would need. "I'm a bit worried about infection, cat claws are notorious for it." He frowned and looked at a little vial, while the shopkeeper peered curiously at the pair nearly falling over the counter to get a better look. Kiyelt ignored him. The vial was more important. "For small shallow wounds...sounds about right doesn't it?"

Ichil had initially planned to ask Kiyelt to wait outside so nobody would hike up any prices for the color of his skin, but she just didn't have the heart when they actually arrived. She followed him in and half-shadowed her face with her cowl.
She was currently looking over the potion racks and turned to see what Kiyelt had picked up. "Mm, yes." She took a second look at his bloodied face. "Yes. This as well." A slightly smaller vial, to fight infection if the one he held did not entirely close the wound, and they almost never did. She also grabbed a cleansing cloth and a skin of 'pure oasis water' which she was 100% positive did nothing more than normal water, but they didn't have the time to go out looking for a pond. Somehow she doubted Kiyelt would need anything for the pain, but found herself wanting to buy it anyway.
She wove around Kiyelt and took the vial from his hands, moving to the shameless shopkeep and offering a smile as if she hadn't noticed his rudeness.
"Just these, please." She began to pull out her coin purse.
