Kiyelt held his hand out for Ichil as they traversed a rocky incline, "This is perzi canyon, my secret hiding place, If you can't find me at the janarim den I'll most likley be here fighting perzi, I still haven't managed to tame a single one yet. I think they have anti Kiyelt magic truth be told." He sidled down the ridge and stood on the cliff side. "This flooded once, that was not so much fun. But there are handy bolt holes here and there that are perfect for hiding for both perzi and humans." He showed her the dark crevises that lined the walls, "Some are bigger then others, one has to be careful not to get too stuck in there."
Some yowls heralded the presence of the large Oban cats that had basically haunted Kiyelt's taming dreams. "Here we go." He said excitedly.

'Perzi Canyon?' Had Kiyelt named it that or was that the official name? It certainly didn't leave much to the imagination. The perzi Ichil always saw were either stray or nobles' lap cats. They made great companions if you could bond with one. Ichil had never really seen the perks of having a pet, at least not until she had been led to this beautiful janarim. She still held the creature's lead and felt absolutely giddy as they wandered down. Good for people too, huh? Maybe they'd have to camp out here some day.
Oh, perzi would probably not like a janarim down here, would they? "Should I wait up there?" she asked, pointing up the side of the canyon.

"Nope thats okay, they will be after us not her, since we will be the ones trying to catch them, no eating the perzi Imari, good girl." He grinned and tip toed around the corner to see a rather large perzi already glaring at him. "Um, are perzi supposed to look that fat Ichil? I've never seen one quite so..opulent have you?" He got closer and peered at the cat who had eyes of yellow fire and fangs to match. he was rather hoping she wouldn't be a biter he hated when they bit. Their teeth went though muscle like a dagger through butter.
"Nice kitty, just here to tame you, no biting the nice people now..or the janarim." he had seen wierder things after all. A pack of perzi could take on a janarim if they really wanted to.

Ichil wasn't entirely sure she believed Kiyelt. A janarim was a predator the same as they were, as far as the perzi knew. She looked to Imari and pet her head, still unable to believe that she had her at all. Kiyelt crept around a corner and she hesitated to follow. Oh, fat? There was a fat perzi? Interesting. It seemed to not like Kiyelt very much either, from the sound it was making. She didn't want to bring Imari around the corner, but she didn't want to leave her out here in the open either. Once something was tamed, how tame was it really? Eventually she relented and came around the corner.
Oh. Oh wow. That was a round perzi.
"We shouldn't bother her," Ichil warned. Like really, really shouldn't.

The perze swiped at him aggresively, "Nope I think your right," Kiyelt said dodging, "She scares me," and it looked like she had teets which meant this was either a mama or a soon to be mama and she was about ready to eat the iceling before her.
"I...am going to back away slowly, because she looks like a snake ready to strike." He had seen grouchy perzi but NOTHING like that one. Oh mama, he wanted to crawl into one of the holes far, far away from here. "Back Imari up a little Ichil please, before she eats me." He smiled nervously. Perzi could be a little creepy when they really wanted to.
He stepped back to Ichil. "Perhaps another part of the canyon?" The perzi yowled again behind him. "Perhaps sooner than expected?"

"She looks pregnant," Ichil said. Pregnant or nursing... or both? She nodded and turned to Imari who did seem to have a rather keen interest in the perzi. She had to shove the janarim a little to get her to back up. "Go! Go on!" She turned then to the perzi and drew an arrow, waving it at the feline. "You leave him alone!" She was aware that it wasn't going to work, of course. This was no timid house-perzi. It might just distract her a little from Kiyelt, though. That was all that mattered, not that she'd mind gently tending his wounds.
No, no, that was screwed-up! She cursed herself for thinking it at all and continued backing out, wielding her arrow and not taking her eyes off of the rotund perzi. "Okay," she said, "all clear! Let's go!"

" I think she was still preggers, that was pretty round." She hadn't seemed to eager to move very far luckily for him.
"Thank you for distracting her back there, I was not happy with that death glare being on me for any length of time." They sidled along the canyon. "I guess I will know for next time when I see perzi again, I wouldn't want to fight a pregnant one, it seems terribly unfair. It would be nice to see kittens though, I can just imagine how cute? Uncute? They are."
They turned around the bend and there were tracks on the ground. “I hope these are not pregnant too. Maybe they have a breeding season.”

Ichil laughed slightly at the word 'preggers.' "Well, everyone should fear a pregnant woman," Ichil said with a sage nod. "Besides, we could probably just roll her home and pamper her." She was kidding of course, and she didn't think Kiyelt would imagine she was actually offering such a thing. It seemed inhumane.
"We'll just find you a male, then," she said, "Of course if it is breeding season then they'll be over-excited too and you'll have to prove your manliness by how tall you can get and how many times you can hit it in the head per second." Of course, she was teasing again. The next little bit, though, was entirely true. "I think they've very cute as kittens. They're very wrinkly, but their gems are so teeny-tiny and they make the cutest noises. A friend showed me his, or I guess they're technically barncats." She smiled up to Kiyelt. "So should we try again?"
