Two tickets to the new Star Wars, and Zeke knew Ever wouldn't want to go. he could have asked Harley, she would have gone, but there was another person among those he spent any amount of significant time with that he actually held some manner of care for, and that person had not yet been treated to anything even remotely close to an outing. endejester Text to Zac: What are you feelings on Star Wars? If the kiwi wasn't interested, there were other's the Mist could ask.

“Well enough, unless you’re talking about that ‘Jar-Jar’ abomination.” He texted back to give a quick reply - it too perhaps a minute before he added back realizing that there was something of a question that he should be asking. “Why? What’s up mate?”

Seated at his desk, Zeke slid back in his chair, slouching artfully. endejester Text to Zac: I've got tickets to the new one. Wanna go?

He paused for a moment, thoughtful, then nodded and texted back. "Sure, sounds good, what time?"

endejester Text to Zac: Whenever you're free. Tickets are good whenever. He supposed, if he were being technical here, this would fall under the realm of a date. More so if they grabbed food while they were away. Was there a reason not to? Hell, was there a reason not to just make a night of it, come back in the morning? Quote: Text to Zac: Pack an overnight bag.

/Text to Zeke:/ - "I can be there in just a few, I've got to put some of my tools away. Really not his more 'formal' tools at least, he'd been mostly designing a few things. Including some designs for himself he 'd likely have to go off Deus for. The 2nd half of the text made him blink, then arch an eyebrow. /Text to Zeke:/ - Should I pack anything in particular? yes it was sort of a tease though his own cheeks felt hot at that.

/Text to Zac:/ - Works for me. A beat, and then a followup text and a lazy grin. /Text to Zac:/- Anything you feel you might need for a night away from the island. Then he was setting his phone aside, because any texts that came now would be nothing more than banter, and if Zac was heading his way soon, he was going to need to pack something for himself. Rising, the Mist went for the closet, the bag hanging at the back of it, and grabbed for a change of clothes, essential other toiletries, and a couple of additional items he was sure they'd need.

The reply earned a snort of laughter but he took it at least somewhat seriously, packing things they might both find useful for the trip off island. He did NOT pack his tattoo gear, but that was in part to a resisting another kind of temptation. He packed a spare set of clothes, toiletries, un-scented soap because there WERE walk in tattoo parlors places, and you really just didn’t know… Vanity had him check the mirror briefly but then he was on his way to knock on the door of his compatriot, and sometimes … companion?

Zeke opened the door with his bag in his hand and a grin already settled on his lips. "Ready to go?" As if it wasn't obvious. He stepped forward, forcing Zac to back up a bit so he could pull the door closed behind him, shouldering the bag as he did so. Then he was leaning down, free hand lifting to catch the Sun's chin so he could brush a quick kiss across his lips. Just a light touch, there and gone in a second, and Zeke was moving down the hall, hooking a finger in one of Zac's belt loops to draw him along. "I figured you wouldn't want to go anywhere cold, so we'll be heading down to Florida. It's damn mild this time of year." Having lived there for a number of years, Zeke knew from experience. When they reached the doors he held them open for the other man.
