Among her travels, in which she ventured further and more frequently since becoming powered, Sedna had found a really cool junk yard. She was rather enchanted with it---after all, junk yards had always been prominent places in stories and movies and games with ideas of finding new things and adventures! It also just served as a really cool place to work on some parkour...which was something she had been getting more into, also, since becoming powered. It just seemed like a really good skill to have and polish in the name of fighting youma and helping to keep Destiny City safe! Thus was the senshi was currently scaling a rather tall tower of stacked junk cars, her tongue poking out in concentration as she looked for hand and foot holds.

Yes, but she wasn’t the only senshi in the junk yard that night. It was a rather cool junk yard with decent junk yardy stuff, but more importantly, this was where low lives like Negaverse agents and youma liked to hang out. Nevermind the would-be gang members or drug dealers. It was the youma and Negaverse that was important to watch for.
“Hey, be careful,” Oberon called up to the senshi climbing the stack of cars, shaking his head in disbelief. “I hope you’ve had your tetanus shot updated, at least.”

Hey what was that tugging on the corner of her mind--- Upon hearing the familiar voice, Sedna gasped, loudly, and her eyes going wide. She whipped her head around, knocking her hat askew as she stared down at the senshi. Upon getting a visual confirmation, her features lit up. "OBERON-SENPAI!" She wailed, her lips stretching into a grin. She hadn't meant to just...let go. Her plan had been to descend, carefully, but alas. She was too excited. She let go of the cars entirely, and ended up falling like a right onto the patch of grass and dirt below with a loud thud and an 'oof'. "Yikes---" Sedna rubbed her back a bit, but it was immediately forgotten because she was closer to Oberon. She leapt up to her feet, and stood before the other, giving a wild grin down at him. "It's so good to see you, again! I was hoping I'd been running into you again eventually---"

Oberon’s eyes widened in shock and disbelief when the senshi just… let go and fell to the ground. Who did that?? And how did she know his name??
“Uh… are you okay?” he asked, his voice sounded concerned, but he took a cautious step back, not sure who this woman was. She knew his name, but anyone could have said his name and explained what he looked like, so that meant he might not know her at all. She was much too old to have been in his middle school classes with him.
When she jumped up to grin down at him, he practically stumbled backwards, alarm and distress taking over his expression now.
“Who are you?” he asked sheepishly, not sure if he should know who she is… or if he even wanted to know. She seemed rather… eccentric. Almost like his mother... but that just made it worse, probably.

"I'm---" Sedna stared down at him, her mouth open, and froze. "---Oh!" Oh. "Right! I'm magical right now! Right, yeah---" Sedna made a fist, and then smacked it in the open palm of her other. "I got ahead of myself! I just got so excited to see you because it's been a while!" She gave him a fox eyed grin. "A few months back, you saved me! At the DCU campus! From a Negaverse agent with two knives!" She flashed him a peace sign. "I'm Olga---and I'm magical now, too!" She puffed out her chest a bit, and jabbed a thumb at herself. "I'm also Sedna, senshi of Ships!"

Oberon continued to stare at the senshi, not entirely sure what to think, at least until she explained who she was. DCU campus? Guy with knives?
"Oh!" he gasped, taking another step back to get a better look at her. "Oh, wow. I remember you. Wow, you... you're a senshi??" he sputtered in disbelief, taking a moment to circle around her.
"Huh... who'd have thought. Well, good! That means you should be able to defend yourself better. You've been keeping out of trouble though, I hope. Not all Negaverse officers and youma are pushovers. Some are really nasty," he said, scrunching up his nose at the thought.

"Yeah!" She replied, proudly, and posed, hands on her hips as Oberon circled her. Yes, senpai, inspect and notice kouhai. Yes. "Well---I obviously wasn't at the time when I met you, but a few months after that I ran into a Guardian cat and he gave me a pen!" She beamed at him, and nodded her head vigorously. "Yeah, much better at defending myself." She laughed. "Um---define keeping out of trouble? But yeah, I know what you mean---I've been running around some really nasty youma, ones that could only manage to be taken down once I had help---and I've been running into other Negaverse officers, too!" Some bad, and a few...not so bad. "How have you been, since then? It's been a while! You also look---" Sedna tilted her head as she stared at him, her tongue poking out in thought. "Different, somehow!"

Oberon paused with his hands on his hips as he tilted his head in confusion at her. “Different?” he parroted, looking down at himself, and glancing over his shoulder to scowl at his butt bow. He hated that thing, but there was no point in trying to get rid of it. It would just come back next time he powered up.
“I mean… I’ve grown some, I guess,” he tried, not feeling too different, but he was also distracted from things with himself. Maybe he was different?
“Have you figured out your magic yet? Ships, huh? I’m supposed to help my brother with his ship this weekend. Well, it’s a sailboat, but still,” he said with a shrug. “What are you doing out here, anyway?”

Sedna snapped her fingers. "Yeah! That's it! You look like you've grown!" She grinned at him. "Have you been eating pop-tarts---those make you grow tall." She gave him a sage nod, and then couldn't help but reach out to pet the top of his hair. " It's like I could land a plane on it---Oh! Yeah!" She nodded her head vigorously. "Right now, when I use my magic, a little fleet of ships appear and they shoot out---" She gestured with her hands. "And when they strike an opponent, it makes them feel sea sick and like they're sinking!" A pause. "I know. A senshi with holes in his chest and forehead used my own magic on me once." She stared at Oberon with wide eyes. "That was something crazy---" She gasped. " Your brother has a ship!? That's so cool! A sail boat!? That's even better, oh my gosh---is this brother one of the knights you were talking about? Also---you know, when you said we don't have control over what kind of magic we get, I totally get it---I've never set foot on a real boat in my entire life, and yet I'm the senshi of Ships!" Sedna exclaimed, and then replied, "Out here practicing my parkour." Her grin turned fox eyed. "Figured it'd be a useful skill to develop as a senshi, yeah? How about you?"

”I like poptarts,” he chirped in agreement, although his expression still reflected some bewilderment at this increasingly eccentric woman. Not that it was a bad thing, but to find someone about as eccentric as his mother was a feat. His expression didn’t change as she placed her hand on top of his head to pet his hair, not moving from the spot if only because he wasn’t sure what to expect from her.
When she explained her magic, he nodded in understanding, glad that she knew what her magic did. It was always good to get a feel for it. Literally.
“Uh,” he hesitated when she asked if this was the same brother he was talking about before, knowing that Michael wasn’t all that thrilled about giving out his identity like Chris did. “Yeah,” he finally said, although his voice was unsure, figuring she at least didn’t know which knight he was. Sorry, Michael.
“You’re probably going to be safer practicing where there isn’t broken glass and sharp objects everywhere,” he said with a shake of his head in disbelief. “I was out here making sure no one was getting into trouble. If you need to train, you could always try to fight me,” he offered, his expression shifting into a sly grin by the end. He wasn’t as strong as he’d like to be, but he had a lot of experience by now.

"Ahh, so cool! What kind of knight is your brother? What's his name?" Sedna asked excitedly. "I have knight friends! I have one friend who is a knight of Cosmos, and then I have another friend who is a knight of Polaris! Yanno, if I was a knight, I'd definitely want to be a Polaris knight---" Sedna would have kept going about how awesome and amazing being a Polaris knight would be, but she paused, her eyes going wide and her expression lighting up. "You'll fight me!?" She cried, excitedly, as she clapped her hands. "Like practice, yeah!?"

"Uh..." he hesitated again, wondering how mad Michael would be if he gave out his information and reveled his identity. But then he decided that Michael was too much of a loner and probably needed someone to bother him. And then there was Chris, who liked to give out his identity anyway, so he probably deserved having someone he might have never met before know who he was.
"I have two brothers, actually," he admitted, putting up his fists to show that he was serious about fighting her. "They're both Jupiter knights. The one with the sailboat is Sessrumnir. His civilian name is Michael. The other is Valhalla. His name is Chris. He'd kind of a loser, so you don't have to bother with him, but his wife is cool. She's a Senshi too."
He wondered if he was giving out too much information, but decided that if he was just stating out, he would like to know as much as he possibly could. Sorry, Paris.
"Don't hold back. Adventure beckons!" he called, running up to her to try and give her a little shove. He just needed to tag her for his magic to take effect. It was supposed to give her a morale boost, but would also make her more adventurous... and reckless... but at least she would get the experience!

Sedna just nodded her head enthusiastically, her eyes a bit wide with excitement as she committed these details to memory. "Wooooow! Jupiter knights!" She echoed with an impressed whistle. "So---does that run in your family? Um---being magical?" Her eyes widened even further at the thought, but she didn't have that much longer to think about it at the time, since Oberon shoved her and--- Suddenly the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end, and she felt the same rush of excitement through her veins she had felt when taking on that Negaverse Knife Dude with him on campus that one evening. "Well, not that I was planning to, before, but---" Now that she had that extra boost, she went for it. Sedna lunged for Oberon, both of her hands outstretched and her tongue poking out and up in concentration.

”I don’t know if it runs in the family, but it does seem like that’s the case. The Jupiter stuff might be in my family’s blood, since knights are a little different from us senshi, I think,” he tried to explain, although he would admit that he didn’t quite understand it all, himself. He was just repeating what he’d been told.
He did his best to brace himself for Sedna's lunge, lifting his arms to protect his chest, but she was stronger than be would have expected, even without the extra boost. He was easily pushed back, but used that motion to kick off the ground, placing himself even farther back.
"Nice," he grinned. He wasn't very strong, physically, but he did have some speed on his side. He landed lightly and jumped again, this time to the side to dodge any additional attempt at attacking. He didn't want to really hurt her, so when he circled back around to try and land a kick to her shoulder, he did so without his full power. Oberon realized he was probably underestimating her, but until he knew for sure, he would rather pull his punches.
"From what I've been told, senshi's starseeds are reborn, but knights have the potential of passing their powers through bloodline, but might also be reborn. I try not to question it too much. My dreams of becoming an astronaut have already been fulfilled since I'm a Senshi, so... the mystery kinda dies if you ask too much." Not that he was going to stop being curious and trying to find answers, but part of the fun was in the chase.
