Breaks from school always went so fast. It seemed like one minute she was knee high in tests and exams and science reports, and then suddenly it was Christmas again, and now she had blinked and Christmas was gone and it was another new year again.
And she was still a chibi.
Sixteen years old and Lutetia was still a chibi. She was powered up, standing in the middle of the park, grumping. Honestly the only reason she had even bothered to drag out the henshin pen again was to see if perhaps now she had managed to not be a chibi. She was sixteen for cripes sake! Her hand reached up and pulled the stupid bonnet from her head, throwing it to the ground with a growl of frustration.
This was stupid. Another waste of time, another chance for her powered side to really wow her…and another time that it fell flat.
Lutetia stepped on her pristine white bonnet and ground it into the slightly muddy dirt that was under her feet. Screw this.
She walked away from the ugly hat, towards the other side of the park and paused, feeling the presence of another person nearby…someone who felt a lot like her.
Another chibi. The poor sap. Well. At least this would give her something to do for the evening. She made her way over to where she felt the presence and blinked. Oh my. This person’s outfit was even more unfortunate than hers was…red beads hung from…from everything and…oh my. There were tassels everywhere too…
“Hey. What are you supposed to be the senshi of? You’re a chibi too, hm? Better get used to it. You’ll never get out. I never got out.” She hadn’t meant to start the meeting off so…rudely.
But that was teenage angst for you.

Cadmus was in a fighting spirit. Well, sort of. Ever since awakening as a chibi senshi, he felt a little more pompous to the point he could take on the world. His mother, who seemed to keep him pressed under her thumb, had become as frightening as a mouse to the now powerful Sailor Cadmus. At least, he thought so, until Fiora grounded him for the next week. He had a set bedtime of eight o' clock from then on—no video games or television as was his usual nightly routine before hitting the sack.
So went he marched up his room, he was fuming. How dare she! Caelum thought to himself as he shoved his window open with his henshin pen in hand. She thinks she can control me? She thinks she's in-charge? Well, think again!
"Cadmus Power, Make Up!"
Fifteen minutes later of getting around via his favorite method—rooftop jumping—Cadmus landed in the park where he first powered up. He liked to come there for fights with any wandering youma, but it seemed to be a quiet night this time around. At least, he thought it was. As he trekked through the park, he jumped at a voice directed his way, and nearly let off a wave of cranberries at the individual until he registered it was another chibi senshi. A rather huffy chibi senshi.
"Oh, uh, I'm Cadmus," he introduced as calmly as he could. His heart was still beating from the small fright she gave him. "I'm a senshi of cranberries. And you are...?" Before he waited for an introduction, he shot back with. "Get out? What's that supposed to me? You mean, I'm gonna... Gonna be stuck like this," he gestured to his whole person, "forever?"
