With her outfit done, Ichil looked out at the stars once more. They were so beautiful... ah. Why not add something shiny to her wardrobe? She had plenty of bracelets that wouldn't raise suspicion, but she was feeling rather crafty tonight. Why not try her hand at making another? She moved to her bureau and searched for a small leather pouch of clacking beads. She had purchased them from a traveling merchant and never had anything done with them. She had a bit of leather cord to lace them with. Why not, right? Ichil brought the beads to her bed, but had more trouble finding the leather lace. It wasn't in her bureau or with her bracelets. She found it instead untied in the bottom drawer of her jewelry box. It'd fit on her wrist alone, she made sure, but what would happen when she added beads? Would it be too tight? She pondered this issue as she returned to her bed. She put down the cord and made herself a backrest of pillows to craft leaning against. She put her knees out and touched her feet together, then poured the beads in the safe place she'd created. She plucked up the first bead turned it, and immediately dropped it on the floor. Bah! Ichil carefully stepped off of her bed so as to not disturb the other beads and retrieved it; a blue stone polished to shimmering. She had to crawl back onto her bed very carefully to avoid an avalanche, picked up the bead and the cord, turned the bead to see the hole, and stuck the cord in... or tried to. The cord was squarish and its corners made it too big for he bead's hole. Darn. She chewed the end. Still too thick. She tried pushing it through with a thick needle. No. With an exasperated huff, Ichil sighed and slumped. A yawn overtook her. You know what? Maybe she should just stick to clothes for the night. It was then she began to clean up her work and what remained of her supplies before crawling into her bed to sleep.
