 Amy settled on her bed, petting the head of her specterfox before drawing her legs into herself. Her hand extended, feeling around the mattress until a claw graced a book, dragging it closer and dragging her paws around the brail. She had been told she'd finally get a roommate and Amy was both excited and nervous, tail wagging behind her as she listened intently to her surroundings. Soon. SOON. She'd have a new roommate and hopefully a new friend. Don't get her wrong, she loved seeing Iah, but he was the only person she really spoke to, and Amy needed a friend! A boyfriend was great and all, but she needed someone to talk to about him.
Her fox sprawled out on the bed, nuzzling against her leg sleepily. She reached out, patting its head before returning back to her book.

 Odessa took a long breath. She was told after the festival that she'd be having to move into a different room with a new roommate to help make room for all the Daydreams. She didn't mind a new room or roommate, but she was slightly nervous. What if they didn't like her? What if they didn't get along? She had heard of horror stories regarding roommates before and she just hoped that wouldn't happen to her.
Looking down at the piece of paper she was holding, she glanced at the number on the door to make sure it was the right one. She was told the girl's name was Amy and that she was a Grimm, but she hadn't been told much more than that. Mustering up her courage, she gently knocked on the door. Here was hoping that first impressions would be good.

Amy jumped as someone knocked on the door, her familiar leaping off the bed and immediately heading to the door, leaping up and using their paws to clumsily open the door. Amy head the familiar let out a soft whine in greeting before they ran back onto her bed, nuzzling into her feet. The Grimm set their book down, wiggling upwards to fully show herself as she turned her head towards the door. This had to be the roommate, then.
"Hello?" She called, nervously tapping her nails together. This was it. This was the grand reveal. She only hoped they'd hit it off. Living alone was far better than living with an enemy. Though, she doubted Ava would assign her a roommate she'd hate. Very rarely did students have roommates they couldn't stand.

Odessa drew in a breath when the door opened, she had expected a person on the other side of the door but was surprised to notice it was a familiar instead. She smiled and gently touched the familiar's head. When she heard the voice, she looked up, a slight blush on her cheeks. "Oh, hello! Umm.. I'm Odessa. I guess I'm your new roommate!" She bowed her head gently before taking a few more steps inside the room. She knew this was now her room, but she couldn't help but feel a little strange and out of her depth entering someone else's temporary home.
She had to admit that the girl was quite beautiful. In a way, she almost looked the inverse of herself, while Odessa had white skin and black hair, the girl had beautiful white hair and black fur. She let some silence fall between them before pulling some of her suit cases in and setting them in the empty area that she assumed was for her. She had more things, mostly more books and a bookshelf, but she figured it was best to meet the other girl before completely taking over the space.
