YouTube's Ally Argent - Jade's YouTube channel is more than just a hobby for her, it's her full-time job. Every Tuesday she posts new video that ranges from make-up tutorials to song parodies or even long-winded rants about whatever topic her fans ask her to talk about. Her favorite videos are usually the ones where she's dressed up as some character and acting ridiculous on screen. Occasionally she'll hijack friends to be in her videos, even if they don't want to participate.
Theater - Jade is a theater junkie whether it's going out of her way to see plays, musicals, whatever, or participating in them she'll find some why to be a part of the theater community.
Blogging - On top of running a successful YouTube channel, Jade runs a pretty successful blog where she details her every day adventures that aren't video-worthy. Her following isn't nearly as big as her channel, but she uses it as a stress reliever and a way to connect with the fans that follow her. She spends a lot of time responding to asks as well as sharing the funny details of her day.
Virtues:
Playful - Over all, Jade is a pretty playful person who likes to joke around and act silly whenever the mood strikes her. She's generally a positive individual who approaches the day with a grin and an upbeat attitude. She's the type of person to jump into the middle of random dance parties, impromptu stretches, and drag you onto the dance floor if the mood suits her. If she can make it fun, she'd going to do her damnest to and if it gives her an excuse to fake an accent and make up a character, well all the more reason.
Straight-forward like an Oncoming Train - The best part about Jade is that you'll always know where you stand with her. If she's got beef, you bet she'll deal with it then and there as long as it can be done privately. She doesn't like to beat around the bush and she doesn't have time for your passive-aggressive bullshit. She'd rather be straight-forward, blunt, and honest with you than risk dancing around each other awkwardly.
You're Like an Open Book - Jade thinks reading people is a lot like reading children's book, easy with a little bit of imagination thrown in the mix. Her, minor, background in acting has given her a lot of facial cue recognition and she's able to pick up the slightest change in body language. Her ability to gauge reactions is what helps her when she goes a little too hard on her sass or sarcasm. It's not a failproof thing, because people are complex and sometimes she misreads a person or misses a cue and it all blows up in her face.
Flaws:
Sarcastic - Jade doesn't really have a filter but when she does, it's often laced in heavy sarcasm. The more comfortable she is with you, the more her sarcasm will show, otherwise it often seems to come out of nowhere when a poor comment is made or she's particularly irritable. Unfortunately, her biting words often don't come across right and it's hard to tell when she's being serious and when she's kidding, especially since her normal voice and her sarcastic voice hardly differ. She's hurt a few egos and lost some friends over her biting sarcasm.
The End Justifies the Means - Jade recognizes that sometimes, life presents you with difficult choices you'd rather not make but have to, even if it means that someone gets hurt, or worse killed. A morally gray individual, Jade isn't above sacrificing someone or taking away their free will if it means achieving the end goal. She firmly believes that war is not about choice, but sacrifice, and accepts that sometimes there is not a better option than the ones presented. She is capable of making the tough choices, even at the cost of others, if she feels that it's necessary. As long as the needs of the whole outweigh the needs of the individual, and it's not conflicting with her needs/desires, she'll do whatever she sees fit to reach the end goal.
Emotionally Unavailable - As outwardly open and approachable as she may seem, Jade doesn't like to talk about her feelings and often hides behind her heavy sass and sarcasm as a shield. She's not certain she's got the capacity to be emotionally open, refuses to put herself out there and let herself get deeply attached to anyone in an emotional manner. She'll talk about feelings superficially, especially when she's frustrated, but you'd be hard pressed to get her to talk about any of her deeper or more complex emotions without her going 'I don't know how to explain'.
