This role-play fits here perfectly because it is a place where you can take a breather from the guild role-play and really have some fun. It is one role-play that its optional to have a character profile (though preferred by guild rules).
The location of this RP isn't in Hyrule, but in a place called South-Town in the Renaissance Galaxy.
what has happened to new patrons - every new customer has this as their intro
Your character has wandered into a nice-looking mansion and you find that on the third floor of it is a bar. Upon entering, you cannot believe your eyes as you could swear you have seen someone right out of the Legend of Zelda games.
He has the green tunic, the green hat, and even the pointy ears and side burns! Yet, you know that this is no video game character, but a real person.
Nearby, on a stage to your right is a woman with an elegant gown that was clearly meant for royalty and yet, she looked nothing like Zelda. Beside that woman, whom the woman was talking to was a man with a golden wolf tail. This wolf tail reminds you of the Golden wolf spirit in the Twilight Princess series. The two were clearly conversing about how their son Link Bogard was doing with the customer service.
Then you notice how busy it is with many different races you have never seen before. In one section, you see human-like monkeys. In another, you see ninjas with their faces uncovered and headbands with unique symbols. In a third, you see what appear to be humanoid farmers with spinning top devices, miniature versions of the one Link of the Twilight realm rode to defeat the boss in the Arbiters (sp?) grounds.
Not only are you curious now about this place about what other secrets it might hold, but you realize that you could use a meal. So you sit down awaiting to be served.
You see Link approach you, and when he asks you "May I take your order?" This is where your adventure here truly begins.
General rules
Unlike most RPs, this one allows for one-liners, hence the title of the RP. You do not need to know a thing about the King of Fighters to participate. I play all characters that are staff related to the Bar and mansion. All other characters are open.
This RP is not limited to Legend of Zelda only, hence where I put it in the guild.
Have fun, that's most important.
(I sure hope this is okay..I am really trying to boost some activity here)

(I approve C: ) Commander James
Clanking into the little place--that wasn't little at all--the Commander took the eyes of a few of the patrons and held them for ransom while waiting for his waiter to come. He didn't look at the menu as he waited, knowing perfectly well what he wanted.

Commander James"Mm? Oh, yes, the finest Burgundy you have, if you would--and please, it's not too early. I'll also need my number four here grilled without the lard, if that's at all possibly; I will be able to tell, you know... And if I could have the name of that composer," he said pointing to the ceiling as the music beamed in through the cross-barred speakers, "I should like to be able to thank him personally for allowing me to hold on a moment longer to my sanity in this festering boil we seem to know as a kingdom: what with the rats, the urchins, the increase of polygamy thanks to the admission of those Deku nutjobs into the--you're still here? My God, man! Can't you see a man needs to talk to himself while he's waiting for his order; at this rate I'm liable to run out of subject--well, I suppose that won't exactly happen anytime soon will it? But still!" When Commander James ordered food he ordered the restaurant around it, being the holistic he was.

Link laughed, "But of course I will get your order right away and the composer, thank the band on the stage. My parents, my half-brother Rock, my Uncle Andy and their best friend Joe Higashi."The boy scurried to the kitchen promptly bringing out the burgundy before saying, "Your order will be on your table within 5 minutes no more. Please enjoy the rest of your day, sir."

Commander James"Good." Commander James went back to his paper, thinking it odd things seemed to be going according to his design for once but not so geeky as to pay the expected outcome any special fanfare simple because it happened. The Burgundy was good, something the man could cherish. and it welcomed his viens with millions of teary kisses. "Yes, I've missed you too..." Whispers brushed against the glass and echoed a little, but only the Commander could hear their private talk. As he set the glass down he caught eyes with somebody a couple tables away. A halfassed smile went up, but the Commander really was in a solitary mode. Still, the room was nearly empty without them.

A halfassed smile went up, but the Commander really was in a solitary mode. Still, the room was nearly empty without them. Precisely 5 minutes went by before the commander got his food, which arrived via an entertaining conveyor belt, landing smoothly and in perfect proportions to where the commander was sitting. Dee glanced at the "hostages", but took no action, though she could if she wanted to. After all, this was South Town. It has always been known to being a survival of the fittest type of land, well, sort of. If you made yourself an obvious target, then you became one. The hostages only became hostages because they were not strong enough to deal with the commander on their own and by the looks of things, the hostages should have remembered that if you were to come to Southtown to always be on your guard. To...be prepared to fight for your life at a moment's notice or no notice at all.

Commander JamesSetting down his glass, the Commander lit himself up one of the more manageable-sized smokes he had in his repertoire. "Excuse me, boy," he called as the waiter walked by. "What's all this? What's going on here?" He said gesturing over the situation.

Corvo Bianco Commander JamesSetting down his glass, the Commander lit himself up one of the more manageable-sized smokes he had in his repertoire. "Excuse me, boy," he called as the waiter walked by. "What's all this? What's going on here?" He said gesturing over the situation. Link put on a gas mask, then said through it, "For one, there is no smoking in this place. Not unless you want to be put in a burning building and learn why not to smoke the hard way. And two, this is Southtown, so don't be too alarmed if you see some idiot holding a bunch of people for ransom. If the hostages allow themselves to be captured, then that's their fault. This lounge is supposed to be a place to get away from the danger that is constantly lurking outside. However, as my dad seems to attract all the nasty criminals and some pretty smart ones at that, its impossible to keep all the evil at bay."To add to his point, Link touched the center of his forehead where a light blinked momentarily and then a screen on the table appeared where it showed all the evil lurking outside and that evil was so obviously so it was laughable. Then Link recognized one of the lurkers and sighed. "That one there is always lurking around here at this time. Judging from his stance, I'd say he's from Planet Naruto. The planet where ninjas live. My Aunt Mai is from the hidden leaf village on that planet and her great grandfather was a Jounin. A jounin is a higher ranking ninja. Kind of like a higher up in an army. You've got the everyday people like kids who are too young for ninja academy, then you've got the academy kids, which in terms of an army...I'd say those would be privates. After that, its the Genin, or the kids who passed the academy, but still need training to handle the bigger jobs. Naruto Uzumaki, whom the planet is named after, was a Genin for a long, long time. All of his friends surpassed him in rank before he moved up. Then, after genin is chunin. Chunin ninja can command a small team of lesser ninja, but they still need a Jounin for guidance to make sure they aren't messing up or anything. And the Jounin are basically the second in command in terms of ninja ranks before the ranks split into careers. Like, a ninja of the jounin level can be in the Anbu black ops, which is kind of like a CIA sort of deal, a secret police force. They can also be instructors at the academy full time or lead the Chunin exams, which is usually a big deal. Anyway, long story shorter, there is always going to be some sort of action around here and whatever you do, never keep your guard down unless someone like my dad, my mom, or I am nearby."

I could have killed him on the spot for breaking the law. I mean, right on the door it said no smoking. And I am royalty. Well, at least he donated some rupees for the Hylian Kingdom."
