((Open to anyone! Just hop in smile )) The Bar and Lounge ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► ► Through one of the doors on the right, looking onto the cobbled street there is the large open room which is the heart of the casual social part of the property, it is richly furnished with many comfortable chairs ranging from old creaking leather seats with the rich smell of wealth and tobacco to more modern chaise longue. There are more than enough seats to suit all posteriors and around the edge of the room are booths screened with ornate and opaque stained glass decorated with infernal scenes for those who require some privacy. The bar itself is rich mahogany and is always staffed with discreet and able bartenders who can provide even the most curious of beverages for their high class clientèle. Tabs are managed in neat and inoffensive manner paid via the accounts of the members, there is no need for something as crass as an exchange of monies to take place. Alcohol (amongst other questionably legal drinks) is sold here and can be purchased even by minors if they are willing to take the risk themselves, the club is under no obligation to police the choices of its members and discretion is the watchword. Drinking is considered acceptable for anyone regardless of their chosen fashion and drunkenness is acceptable in the evenings.
The halloween equivalent of opiates and laudanum are of course permitted within the walls of the club and if the Boogeymen become involved it is - as previously stated - very much an every individual for themselves situation. The official stance of the club is that they do not support anything of questionable legality and that all members must take responsibility for their own actions and avoid scandal at all costs.
The most favoured seating spot in the bar is the large bow window which provides an ample view of the street outside and also conveniently sets anyone who sits there in full proud view of those lesser non-members who might happen to pass by on the outside.
There is a large hearth which burns with all the fervor expected of a demonic establishment and keeps the rooms comfortable and cosy.
Examples of drinks sold throughout the day Breakfast Tea, Coffee, Chocolate, Ale
After Breakfast Til Dinner Wine - Madeira, Burgundy, Claret Blood Bat Juice Punch, Champagne, Orgeat Tea, Lemonade. Claret-cup (claret + fruit juice or soda) Claret-blood (claret + blood) Orgeat (distilled from barley or almonds) Orange flower water (non alcoholic) Ratifa (liqueur flavoured with peach, apricot or cherry) Porter (bitter beer but considered good for the health and strengthening)

It was rather early in the morning and the patrons of the club had only just begun to filter in or to rouse from where they had spent the night in their respective rooms, most of them being demons did not necessarily have anywhere urgent to be, more than capable of delegating as needed when it came to tasks and capable more often than not of managing their businesses from the lap of comfort.
Zar was still rather stressed, but at the very least had had a good night's sleep. He was dressed in many extravagant layers of silk and expensive cloth and was feeling a little more on his feet than he had been in the last few days.
He was sitting in the leather chair by the bow window and had what looked like a very small chicken nestled on the curve of his twisted horn, looking out with interest at the grand room.

It was good to always keep your eyes and ears open for local businesses that were gaining notoriety and switching hands, and TG was surprised to find a old schoolmate's name high on the list of a recent establishments change of hand. Thus, calling a carriage, he arrived and headed up the steps.
The insides were lavish, as to be expected, and he felt a tang of jealousy that Zar not only graduated before him, but had established a business that was no doubt making a grand profit from the location and roster of demons visiting it's premises. It helped that it was already a business with history and didn't require as much marketing and building up as a fresh club.
Still, he needed a place to rub elbows with the elite and escape from Sammy. Stepping inside, he spotted non-other than the demon himself sitting in a chair with some sort of pet upon his horn.
"Well, you sure are doing well for yourself." He said, walking over with small strides to the incubus.

Zar raised an eyebrow at TG but inclined his head in greeting to the other demon, the small chicken creature merely adjusted his balance with the movement and did not seem bothered at all. Zar looked slightly anxious.
"I would not entirely say doing well for myself." he said. "This whole situation is in a sense a "gift" from my grandmother. It is simply a pickle I cannot get out of." His tail restlessly twisted a little further around the chair he sat in.
"But it is fine, things here run more or less without too much of my input, the servants know their jobs, the magic knows its job, I am primarily a management figurehead who signs the paperwork and gets the blame when the plumbing goes awry or a guest has to wait too long for service." he rubbed his temples.
"It is a pleasure to see you here regardless. How are you?"

Lily sauntered in not long after TG. She was dressed notably different from usual. Her hand lightly brushed across the exotic materials that made the building along her route.
She stayed to the background when she realized Zar already had company, familiar company. Her curious fondling found its way to the rich dark mahogany of the bar. Such delightful little details, not quite the same but very similar to what her home once was. It was all so very fun to take in, like being a filly all over again. She smiled to herself as if listening to a private joke for the first time. She pondered over the nearby drink menu, it was possibly a bit too early for most options.
"Green tea with just a touch of honey if you will," she requested. She slid a hand over one of the leather covered padded stools, curiosity not easing up for even a moment.

"Seems like a good..umph.." TG moved, hauling himself up to a neighboring chair that, as usual, was much too large for him, and reclined back. "…pickle to be in. Doesn't seem like your grandparents are dropping you off the inheritance list anytime soon if they give you a business to more or less lay about in. A lot of demons could kill for something like this." Though his fathers would more or less expect him to find a place to fund, expand, and make quadruple the profit in a year's time. It would have been nice just to stay at a steady incline with safe, secure revenue like here.
"Tsch. I guess things are fine. Still in school, but really in no rush. Longer I'm in there, the more time I can buy before my fathers' hammer come down on me. I doubt they will wait long though. They're already turning up the heat and none of my investments have gotten the needed projections that would make my meetings with them any less agonizing." The last one had been horrible and he spent the week curled up in bed tearing paperwork with his teeth just to feel better.
"Honestly, thought you'd be up someplace with a stack of ladies after you left Amityville."
He rose his hand up, not bothering with looking over, and snapped his fingers to have his order placed. It didn't take long for a servant to come over. "Coffee. Extra sugar. Scalding."

Zar glanced over as Lily entered the lounge and raised a brow at the new attire, she had adapted to the setting rather admirably. He gave her a lazy wave of a talon as she was brought her drink by a barman and turned his attention to TG again. "Oh I don't know if it is all that good, the last owner was removed, I might well find myself removed also in due course, though I would rather not."
"Perhaps if you hang out here a while you might find more fruitful investments than what is available to you at school. A little bit of a change of pace." His tail curled amicably on the armrest of TG's seat. "As far as ladies go, I have my fair share of them at home and here to admire." He gestured at Lily. "Case in point."
TG was also promptly brought his drink, and the small bird nestled in Zar's horns repeated enthusiastically.
"Scalding."

Lily held her hand up at Zar in reply to to his wave and was promptly served her tea in something that somehow managed to be even more elegant than she had been expecting. She admired the piece for a moment. Finding it almost a sin to put her mouth upon it. But while it was art, it was art with a purpose and who was she to deny it the privilege of her mouth? She took the cup and took a small testing sip. It was perfectly brewed and flavored. Yes, good luck being rid of her now.
She turned her attention back on the two, just in time to catch the tail end of what Zar was attempting to convey to TG.
"Such a charmer," she approached with saucer and cup carefully in tow. She set the fine china on the table so that she could curtsy to Zar and then TG.
"Talking business, I presume?"

"Yeah, rub it in why don't ya. We can't all be rolling in mountains of lady mountains." He sighed as he leaned back into the overstuffed cushions and held his coffee cup in both claws. The servant had been knowledgeable enough to offer him a appropriate-sized cup.
"I could take for a change in pace. Amityville has no standards and is a stagnant community with demons who tolerate undeads running their books. I'm eager to get out, but not until the books are in order or else I'd be right up there with you disappearing without a trace." His fathers were not tolerant without closing their ledgers and having him as a loose thread that could damage their reputation and value was not a risk they would take.
The lady he grinned at, and scooted closer to the tail to leave her some pace on his chair, patting in for her. "Usually, but you could become my business if you let me." He said with a wide grin.
The bird TG only regarded with a look of curiosity, having a soft spots for birds considering his own prized pet Annabel, the exotic Cockatrice. "Smart pet. Doesn't look like a cockatrice. Did it take long to train?" He asked, taking a sip from his coffee.

Zar inclined his head to Lily again and the small multi-eyed chicken perched on his horn stared at her fixedly. "Of a sort, yes." he said. "Mostly just updating one another on our fortunes. What of yours? You seem to have come alone." he said with a curious raise of his brow.
TG got a smile. "It's over-rated." he said. "Breasts come with an enormous amount of hassle and drama attached, I am not entirely sure they are worth it." he sighed. "Though I have to admit I feel that drama might find me regardless."
On the subject of business however, he did become just a little more formal. "Business is an exchange of goods and or services TG. What do you have to offer?"
The small chicken creature decided he liked lot of these words and repeated. "Smart. Smart business, tolerate stagnant community. Charrrmer."
Zar made a face. "They are the scareling of a friend of mine. I did not really teach them anything."

Lily carefully swept her long black tail out of the way to graciously take the seat offered. "Unfortunately, I find myself entirely alone these days," she sighed as if saddened by this loss. "I miss my brother terribly, he took up his old name and followed the others home." It was then she finally noticed the creature perched upon Zar's head. It was staring at her and she stared back for a moment. Honestly taken somewhat off-guard by it, "Oh. I thought they were a hat." She bit back the urge to make a face at it, instead glancing away and reaching to slide her drink closer to her new-found seat.
"Zarry dear, are you attempting to proposition me to this red fellow?"
Attention very quickly slid back to the strange creature as it began parroting back various words. "Oh my, I don't really sound like that - do I?"
Then something even more curious was mentioned and Lily had great difficulty masking her rapt interest as she also took up the sport of repetition, "scarrrreling?" If memory served, that word meant that this was a young creature of Halloween. This was her first time seeing one - it didn't seem very smart though it was a curiosity all the same.

TG cackled at Zar's simplification of the hassle of women. Either you wanted boobs and the drama ladies brought, or you were alone without either. "I'd take the trade. You can ignore the drama for the perks." He said, and poked out both the pinky claws out beside the cup he held to his chest for a few seconds before curling them back in.
As for the slim and curvy, he curled his tail right behind her, glad she wasn't shy enough to not take the offered chair with him. "Goods?! I'm grade A mint here, and I wouldn't mind exchanging some services with you anytime." He winked as he sipped his coffee and leaned over the tail to set his cup down on the side table before elbowing it with a grin and a look to Zar. "Whatcha doing with a scarling at this place? Shouldn't that thing be with some caretaker elsewhere?" Under lock and key and restrained to some playpen.
With the mimicking, he could only grin. "Hey, it's at least learning from the best. Getting a leg up from the other brats. Speaking of legs up….." He returned his attention to the ghoul. "Zarry doesn't need to proposition for me. I'm here to light your fire, Miss….." He let the words hand as he waited for her to fill them in.
