He didn't decorate the first door, instead just lugging his heavy cardboard box around. Things glinted at the top of it, a sure sign of decoration to come. The first door - Horace didn't want to overstep any boundaries, so he didn't touch the door. A stocking was looped around the doorknob, though. It was green and relatively plan, except for the giant jingle bell attached to the toe. It jingled loudly as he hung it and Horace scooted quickly away.
Upon inspection, the stocking would contain a smattering of single serve coffee varieties, a larger packet of unground beans, and a small, neatly wrapped box containing three things. A note was tucked in the bottom of the box.
Mini yous, sort of. Had to mismatch a bit. Don't let Rep steal your coffee. -Horace

He didn't decorate this door either, nor hang a stocking. Horace left outside the door a brown paper bag. It was sturdy enough to stand on it's own, and handled, but entirely devoid of decoration. Inside the bag was a small, framed cross stitch. The note on the back of the frame indicating it came from some fair in Belgium. Pinned to the cross stitch was a small note, the Swedish slightly incorrect.

It was unsigned, but also unsubtle.

The first door to decorate was Oliver's. Horace knew his friend was likely all in a tizzy over what the garland was for, as though it were some kind of sinister thing. He took a moment to ponder how garland could be sinister.
.....
Nope, he couldn't see it.
Humming, Horace fashioned the garland like it was a ribbon and Oliver's door the present. He ignored whatever color choice Oliver has said. After he was done, a stocking was hung on the doorknob, the toe of which was surprisingly heavy with candy. A box poked out of the top, though, with a hastily scrawled note on it.
Micah was.... difficult, to say the least. He hadn't known the other man very long, but felt compelled to give him something anyway. Horace didn't question the urge too much; it was Christmas, after all. On Micah's door, Horace stretched the garland out in a diamond pattern of both gold and silver. He worked quickly, somehow certain Micah would come along whilst he was in the process of fighting with a piece of scotch tape.
A stocking was hung on his doorknob, much like the others. It seemed suspiciously heavy... When Micah opened it, he would find a printout of a kindle-only book, the plain computer pages curling to fit in the stocking. Luckily, the stocking was large. In the toe of the stocking jangled something metallic, and finally, tucked underneath was a box.
The only note was in the stocking and it only bore one word. Education.

Maebe got white garland taped on in stripes on her door. She, of course, already had mistletoe on it. It had been tempting to fashion the garland into something rude, but that was too much effort. And not very Christmassy.
Taped to her door, under the mistletoe, was a Chik-Fil-A giftcard with the word WAFFLEFRIES scrawled across the envelope. If Maebe looked closer, she could probably make out Horace's name in very, very cramped writing in the remaining space.

Everyone else on his list received copious amounts of garland tacked to their door. It was becoming increasingly clear that this was Horace's favorite holiday decoration. He formed gold garland into a star on Tommy and Hattie's door, Peyton's got an almost argyle design. While he was decorating, he told himself, nothing could ruin his holiday spirit. It was a lie, but a nice, white one.
Peyton would find that her stocking contained a rolled-up shirt the color of her eyes and a thin necklace chain with one charm attached. Pinned to the shirt was a note that said: HAH I REMEMBERED. Hope you're doing well, sugarspun. -Horace
For Hattie, even though she was nowhere to be found, he left a few things. Something large and squishy and a book they could read together, if she wanted. He even signed the inside of the cover with 'I know all the good parts.
Tommy was honestly a little more difficult, mainly because with all the s**t going on in his own life and with being off the island for six months... he hadn't spent as much time with him. In the end, Horace settled on something Tommy probably wouldn't wear on island and a pair of shoes specifically formatted for parkour. His note read 'Let's go. - Horace
Dawson did not get decorations on his door. Horace knew he was out in America's house. So, Dawson would find his sitting on the porch, with no attempt made to knock, even though Dawson had clearly been home when Horace stopped by. Inside the holiday bag Dawson would find a hat, without pompom, and a giftcard to Chik-Fil-A. He left a note inside that, too. Maebe has one too. Go together, maybe? -Horace
Noah would simply find a plainly wrapped book against his door, a historical romance novel, of course.
Afterwards, he returned to his room and debated hitting the bar.
