From one cosmos sibling to another Hyperborea decided to pay Bimini a call. Contacting him over the signet ring she said "Hey Bimini do you have a minute? Can I meet you at your arcade, it'll be quick." She spoke into the ring.
She had found a cute lamp shaped like the triforce which she thought Bimini would like given how much he liked video games. She was glad that she was a squire, because the lamp was kind of heavy and she would hate to be lugging in around as a normal teenager.

To say that Bimini had be 'playing' with his ring ever since receiving his super duper cool Thanksgiving upgrade would be the understatement of the year (and the year was almost over!). He had sent out many a messages and magical ridiculous hologram calls in his free time pestering everyone and anyone.
So when he realized someone was messaging him he'd expected yet another exasperated 'Jesus - leave me the freak alone' message and not sweet Hyperborea. Meeting cheerfully confirmed he awaited her arrival, rushing to unlock the door when she finally appeared toting her large item and shoo her inside.
"Holy crap, what is that!?" He piped up curiously, excitely, before grinning sheepishly as his hands extended to help her carry it if she wanted help. "I mean, how have you been 'little sis'? Staying out of trouble?"Aurelius Ambrosius Super sorry for the delay dear! Christmas day ended up being crazy/busier then I'd hoped >w<

His grin widened even more as she returned his playful 'nickname', arm hooking around her to return her hug with an affectionate squeeze of his own.
As he parted from her he hummed a little thoughtfully at her words. "Ahh yeah, some of those senshi have some crazy scary powers and stuff." From his experience most senshi were better in a fight then pages (and even himself as a squire). But he'd seen Hyperborea's skills too and they were nothing to sneeze at, so this senshi must have been quite the opponent. "I doubt I'd be much help, but if you're ever in a pinch or need some magical aspirin you know you can always call me." He offered.
And then the gift was offered and all thoughts of senshi and everything else went out the window as his eyes widened. A gift? For him!
It might have seemed as if their ages had swapped, him ripping through the wrapping paper like a teenager only to practically squeal at the new treasure. Practical AND awesome. He was extremely torn whether to display it someplace in the arcade or in his home. After a moment of happy silence while he debated that question he finally realized she was standing there and regained his manners.
"This is totally amazing! I'll have to find the perfect place for it. Thank you so much!" He gushed before setting it carefully down on a nearby table so he could hug her again, this time squeezing tight enough that he could lift her a teensy bit off the ground before laughing and settling her down again. "Merry Christmas to you too. Have any big plans?"

"Oh I didn't mean I'm having trouble fighting her, she's not very strong and her magic is more creepy than dangerous. Its just, she's about my age and she's clearly been brain washed hard-core, but I can tell deep down there is still a good person inside her and I just don't know how to get through to her." She clarified.
"I'm glad you like it." She said a big and genuine smile plastered on her face.
Her smile disappeared a little at his question. "I don't know, maybe visit my parents' graves." She said forgetting that she had never mentioned her parents' death to Bimini before.

"Oh. Ohhhhhh." He responded to the clarification, nodding his head when the idea finally clicked, his own little frown forming. Hyperborea was so very young and deceptively grown up for her age. To think there was someone on the other side that was just as young.. and lost. It was the kind of thought that made your heart ache, especially when he thought of his fellow knight worrying and trying to get through to the other senshi.
"I guess sometimes patience and persistance is the best weapon. If she's as good as you think I'm sure she'll come around eventually. Especially with someone like you looking out for her."
And then came the gut punch of information, one that he physically had to TRY to keep the grimace from showing on his face, settling instead with a sad and concerned frown. Her parents were dead? For how long he wondered? A long time? Or was this her first Christmas without them? Here he was taking this wonderful gift from her without thought (because he was generally a moochy type of person and didn't usually concern himself with equal reciprocation) and... would she be getting nothing? And spending the holiday all alone? She was just a baby with enough on her plate already.
"Would you... like some company?" He offered quietly after a moment. "The only plans I have are later in the afternoon. I wouldn't mind going with you if you don't already have someone...?"
"If you wanted dinner too you could come with me." As soon as he said it he realized how awkward that might be however for both of them. Her spending time with his parents when hers were... gone. And him trying to explain why he was bringing a teenage girl home for dinner. "Or you know, left overs later at my place if you wanted something more relaxed and quiet." He added.

"Merci. You're right I've just got to keep trying to get through to her. I've got to make her see that the negaverse aren't the good guys." She said feeling a bit more determined now, sure they had gotten off on a bad foot but she would find a way to get through to the corrupted senshi it was part of her duty after all.
The look on Bimini's face told her of her mistake. "Oh putain , je suis tellement stupide." She said to herself, she hadn't meant to make this about her troubles but here they were. "I never mentioned that to you before, did I?" It was retorical question, clearly she hadn't. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to make this visit morose, please don't worry about it, I'm fine."
She smiled at his offer, he was really sweet, a truly good guy. "Merci, it means alot for you to offer, but I haven't been there since the funeral so I really need to go alone this time. But if the offers still good maybe I could take you another time."
She smiled again at his next sweet offer. "That actually sounds really nice, my roommate went home for the holidays so the dorms been pretty quiet. I promised my grandparents I would Skype with them on Christmas day but maybe after that." She said, actually really happy to have someone to spend the holiday with even if they were just having left overs.
