░▒▓ ♈ EVENT BRIEF
In order to celebrate the anniversary of Camp Gemini's founding, Chiron and the Praetors have decided that they will hold a symbolic game of Capture The Flag in order to bring the two sides of the Camp together. There have been some complaints from the Roman Body of the camp due to Capture the Flag being a favourite pass time of the Greeks but both Chiron and the Praetors have assured everyone that the game will be fair.
In order to keep the game fair, the two teams will be formed with a mixture of Greek and Roman Campers rather than your standard Greek versus Roman fight that has threatened to tear Camp Gemini apart. Lots will be drawn between the Cohorts and the Cabins to mix them together. The Legionnaires are somewhat hesitant to adhere to this but they will not allow themselves to lose face in front the Greeks and disobey orders; they have decided to follow the instructions they were given and work with the Greeks.
The War Games are being held on the Fields of Mars, the Roman's war game arena. It is a flat expanse of land that is littered with the ruins of makeshift forts, trenches and tunnels from the Roman's training battles. The Roman's are famous for building forts on the field in a matter of mere days but due to the short amount of time they have been given (and the fact they are working with Greeks), The Romans are yet to erect any sort of fortifications for their teams.
░▒▓ ♈ SETTING CONDITIONS
The War Game shall start in the late afternoon (around 3:30pm) in order to give the competitors enough time to prepare and talk in their teams. It has been dry for the last few days which has made the ground quite hard but the dull, grey sky keeps threatening rain. The wind is blowing quite gently across the field in a southeasterly direction.
░▒▓ ♈ IMPORTANT OOC DETAILS
The first team to gain possession of the enemy flag wins. Locations of the flags will be determined in RP and will not be placed here in this post and must instead be found in RP. If something really important happens that all should be aware of then we will use an announcement post and quote everyone taking part inside it to make sure they know what's going on.
