It contains the dolls that were released prior to the bundle... but a Doll Collection 2.0 may be something to look forward to as we begin the new year!

Kin may eventually get more detailed descriptions to their abilities, for now though, it’s up to the imagination!

At this moment Filligris and Carnelion will not have any buffs to their level rewards, this could change in the future however.

While stopping spammers 100% is unlikely due to the numerous methods spam can be done, we have instituted several detection mechanisms to help curb the recent outbreaks. For the past few days incidents have significantly decreased.

Can the numbers by the sides of the items be changed to black with a white outline or something similarly more readable? For some of the darker potion bottles, it's very hard to read the number once you've gotten to double digits.

Especially Phantom Sycamorte, he's been rather neglected since have over 2x the HP makes him not worth fighting. Could the Bosses on Fafnir's Peak have a different Loot Table than the rest of the foes? Especially the ones on Stage 5, given how difficult they can be to take out, even with my Cinder (especially Sandman Rose, given that she can put foes to sleep and fully heal herself). Maybe have Snowflake Charms as a common drop from them, and for Sandman Rose and (eventually) Fafnir a small chance to drop their own Eggs, similar to Sakura and Spirited Ember?

We had plans to do something like this again, but unfortunately we just couldn't commit the time to it this year. But it's something we're still thinking of doing.

In Lake Kindred we always get new areas during events. Can we get new areas when there isn't an event going on? Reason being, event kins are limited and events are pretty spaced out. It gets boring when we are waiting for a new event, that and waiting for events to get new in-game kin sucks.

This is a possibility! But it does take a lot of time and resources to round up all of those kin and discover those new locations.

When will the Level Cap on our Kin be raised? Last time this question got a response you said "in the near future", but it's been over a month since then. I'm sure we'd love to do something with our Lv50 Kin besides smack trees all day, not to mention have a renewed sense of progression.

This is possible, but at the moment we don't have it planned out. There will be an indication of it when it happens though!

Will Paws ever get more direct CS releases that aren't user items? I'm grateful for the freebies and such, but after seeing the Avi version of Kumara get numerous recolors and the Paw version getting none it feels like Paws are being left by the wayside again when it comes to the CS itself. Various users have given theories and reasoning on both ends of the debate, but I think a detailed answer from Staff would be best. Are the Paws truly not profitable enough to Marketing to get more items in the CS? If so, what can we do to change that? Paws have already tried speaking with their wallets and it evidently didn't work (See: Kumara). So we're at a loss here, and while no one likes the regular GCD complaints, it seems like that's all that can be done. Please, give us something to hope for.

We love Paws! Regarding Kumara, if I recall correctly, that item was a special extra made just as a gift to Paws and was not actually planned ahead of time or intended to have recolors. It was a fun side project from a really generous artist. 3nodding We may consider recolors though, since everyone seemed to really love it!
Paw releases are not going to vanish any time soon, but to be very honest, you're accurate in figuring that Gaia cannot thrive on solely or even with a majority of Paw releases. Not to say that the return is the only thing that inspires us to create more items, because that's definitely not the case, but it means that human items will have a larger resource pool overall.
Going forward though, you'll be happy to hear that Paws will be getting more attention in 2016 than they have in 2015!

Why did you decide not to have a simple yes or no selection and choose to add an option to prematurely end any further input by users who selected that answer, so as not to leave any users feeling like you are purposely ignoring anything and everything they might have had to say that could benefit the runway?

The last Runway survey we ran was to get feedback from users who infrequently use Runway, or stopped using Runway altogether. If you were directed toward the end of the survey, it's because you use Runway all the time. As a result, the questions we asked wouldn't be tailored to you. Such as, "Why did you stop using Runway?" Well, you never stopped using Runway so you can't really answer that in a way that is helpful to us.
"Did you know that we have big prizes in Runway?" Given that you use Runway all the time, you more than likely know that Runway has big prizes.
"What would make you want to try Runway again?" You use Runway all the time, so you're always trying it.
On the flip side, there may be a time where we run a survey where we try to target users who use Runway every day. So users who rarely, or never, use Runway wouldn't really be able to answer any questions we have for them. For example, if we had a question like, "What motivates you to enter your avatar, or vote on avatars, every day?" Someone who rarely uses Runway can't really answer that because they don't use it.
See what I mean? The feedback we were looking for with that survey is trying to understand why people used it, then stopped, and see what we can do to improve it.

Although, I do think a simple yes or no would have been sufficient and just add a question for frequency of use for those who answered yes, cause obviously some users who answered yes may still frequently make use of the runway, just not all the time. In fact, I know of some users who, upon hearing how short the other yes option was, intentionally answered with the simpler yes.
Which in turn may have made your results from the survey less than accurate. For accurate results, it is best to use simple language and simple options to avoid confusion.
Having two affirmative options can be confusing for some users who may interpret "all the time" differently. An alternative way of clarifying it while still retaining a second yes option to filter out uses who more frequently use it would be to specify the frequency of use such as, "Yes, I enter everyday" or "Yes, I participate every week" or even "Yes, I participate multiple times during the week"
Well in particular with this survey we were looking for people who used Runway a couple times, then stopped using it altogether. What we're trying to address is, "Hey, you used Runway, but then you stopped. Why?" If you're still participating once or twice a week, then you still have interest in the feature rather than having lost interest entirely. I definitely think your suggestions are good ones if we start to look into, "Why do only some people use Runway once or twice a week? Why do they use it once a month? Etc. Hope that makes sense!

Well some of us who are still using it frequently aren't enjoying it as much anymore and are more using it as a means to call attention to other users who are using it to the issues we have with it in its current form. And even then, some of my fellow protesters are getting tired of protesting cause it just feels like we're not making a difference and the disappointment we see of constantly repeating themes is wearing our spirits down and we're all starting to think that Gaia will just outright remove the feature as it appears to be no intention of regularly maintaining it to make sure that it stays interesting :c

One of the earlier surveys we did definitely made us aware that we need to have some more varying themes, it's something we're going to be doing. Probably won't be immediate, but we've heard you on that. We just ask for your patience as we work on it and some other new and fun things for Runway.

Are the [animal]-versions of the Kindred Sandseed, Kindred Sandbloom and Kindred Sandman Rose supposed to only contain the poses with the kin itself in them instead of the clothing ones?

The paw versions of Sandseed and it's evolutions are only meant to contain the poses with kin.
It may be possible in the future that a few of the other poses are added, but at the moment it is not.

Can the Splicing Level requirement be lowered from Level 25 to Level 15? There have been numerous complaints about needing to get not just one, but two Kin to Level 25 in order to Splice, which can take a long time. Throw in the lack of motivation most of us have as a result of the heavy grind past Lv15, let alone Lv20, and being able to Splice is something not many gaians can do. This directly impacts you guys as well, because that means less players who want to buy Splicing Shards from the CS, meaning another way the game can garner revenue is heavily lessened. 15 is the "Goldilocks Level" in my honest opinion because it still takes effort to reach naturally, but isn't so far away that the high wall deters players. Most Kin also evolve at Lv15, making it more fitting that they're strong enough to Splice at that point. It would go a long way towards getting more people playing (and thus spending) again, as the way it is now is similar to how Alchemy was at the start. That took years to become feasible to everyone. I'd rather LK not suffer the same fate, as it has so much potential.

Ok, Loyal is on a rampage and I know the problem is wide-spread. I was wondering when you are going to fix the glitch that causes Loyal to remove people from the store and taking a vast majority of their tokens.
I am currently missing 210 tokens, which is ridiculous... I have PM'd and quoted, and got no response. When will this problem be addressed and fixed? It has been over 100 days since the problem first occurred and I made a thread.

Could the miss rates for kins like the Spirited Ember be lowered? The Spirited Ember has a pretty high miss rate for a $15 kin and it's very frustrating. We can't even see the miss rate in the description of an attack, or know the power of any particular skill. The guess and check of something so simple is exasperating, especially since most games will give us this kind of basic information up front.

The miss rates for all kin are actually incredibly similar! There isn't much difference. But we will look into perhaps adjusting this. C:

to a bit lower in the near future?
Inflation for almost all the potions has skyrocketed since the in-game shop was released, and I

I do hope the high prices can be reconsidered, as I've noticed easy access to potions such as Antidotes,
Refreshes, Small Heals, and Stamina Ups helps a lot of newer users get in to and excited about the
game early on. I understand the more powerful and rare potions being more expensive, but the more
common and less-powerful potions being cheap & plentiful seems really necessary from my perspective.

The prices in the marketplace fluctuated for the day because the sellback was enabled, so the value for them went up. However now they should start to deflate in price again. C:

The drops will likely be adjusted after the event. This will include reevaluating what items drop.

I know the Gold Medal and Bronze Medal have been re-released here and there over time,
but if I’m not mistaken, the Silver Medal never was? The price for it is ridiculous compared to the others.

Currently, we have no plans to rerelease any of those medals. You can get them via Perfect Parcel though!

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Artmas was an art contest we recently held where users entered a traditional or digital festive art piece which included any Gaia NPCs, or Gaians in a holiday scene featured anywhere on Gaia. They needed to include at least one kin in the picture.
Entries for this particular contest are closed, however, there will be more fun contests in the near future. We're planning on announcing winners of the Artmas contest on Christmas Eve. 3nodding

I know it's not completely up to Gaia and all that good jazz but with the show coming back in February and with Fear The Walking Dead having been well-received I didn't think it would hurt to suggest.
