Personality info:: It difficult to describe who Nyx is because she has a tendency to switch how she behaves, but its easy to tell how she will behave currently depending on what color her robes are. The list below will act as a color code for each behavior she can exhibit.

Red: Anger (Raven amulets must be removed)
White: This particular color has not been revealed yet, but it is rumored to be Nyx's true personality as well as unleash her full power.

Help the hero...help the hero...help the hero. As a fairy, thats always been what Nyx has been told to do. Help the hero. But who is the hero that they keep telling her to help out. She never met this hero and still hasn't to this day. Since she hasn't met him, she had to bide her time, but waiting proved to be boring so she went out exploring. Her curiosity led her to one of the Great Fairy Fountains and when flew to it, she was changed into a Great Fairy. There was a problem with the transformation since she was not ready for the change: she had become a darker version of a Great Fairy and she didn't know how to control her power. Fortunately the Great Fairy of that particular fountain returned in time contain her within the fountain itself before her dark rage took over. There was nothing the Great Fairy can do to revert her back to a normal but she had to keep her trapped there in order to help her control her powers. The dark rage within Nyx proved too powerful to control on her own, so instead the Great Fairy constructed magical amulets that acted as limiters. These limiters were originally blue, but evil was so great that they became red and the shapre of a black raven can be seen in them now. The limiters also split her personalities to several pieces, which allowed the Great Fairy to gain insight as to the power that Nyx has within, stronger than any power that her rage can muster. Unfortunately, neither the Great Fairy nor Nyx could figure out how to unleash this power, so she still had to remain in the Great Fairy Fountain while the hero fought to save Hyrule. By the time Nyx was allowed to leave due to her mastery over her power and consistency in keeping her personalities in check with her amulets, Hyrule was already in peace. But for how long? She still remembers the words she had been told: help the hero. And that is exactly what she intends to do, but first she has to find the hero first...and find out who the hero is.
