Lace's hiding hole had been discovered by her brother again and she lamented over the destruction of her pile of shiny things. She pawed at one that let loose its small little coins and beads and then looked at her twin who was.....
Cleaning himself.
"You...you didn't have to do that." She said weakly, and then tried to bury herself in her own neckfluff. She didn't know why it was that she could really talk, but knew that she had some sort of mission to find things called Senshi. Whatever they were.
So far, she had been hiding and making a small pile of goods to herself. All ruined cause her twin was terrible. TERRIBLE.

"Yeah. I didn't have to." Silk agreed, tone showing no ounce of remorse as he licked his paw. "I wanted to." Truth be told, the recent changes with no explanation had him incredibly frustrated, and his outlet just happened to be the closest thing to him. His sister, and be extension, her belongings. Plus he did always have a desire to just wreck things... He rubbed the paw across the top of his head, closing an eye as he made a few passes before he sat still, and narrowed his golden eyes at his sulking sister. "How about instead of sitting there like a big baby, we do something useful, and try to figure this s**t out! Let's go find some of those things!" Senshi things.

Cats had a very distinctive aura, and Laurelite knew the moment she'd teleported into the area that she was with not just one, but two of the precious little things. She was close enough that she could even hear them speaking. So, of course she had to investigate. They were even cuter than she could have imagined (even if one seemed to have a potty mouth). But they were talking about senshi and, to be fair, indicated that they still didn't know what they were doing. Which was perfect for her, and meant they were just ripe for the taking. She reached down and picked each one up by the scruff of the neck. "Well, well. What do we have here? You two are just such itty, bitty things, aren't you? Where's your mother, dears?" she cooed.

Lace didn't understand the feeling of dread she was getting but she was pretty sure it was the same as any of her other feelings of dread. So when Laurelite came by, picking her and her brother up, she curled up and looked at the teal haired woman.
"We don't have one." Lace meekly said, "Um...Um...Who...who are you?"

He felt a sense of dread, too, between something approaching and that special twin connection--but he ignored it, right up until it grabbed him. Silk curled up out of reflex, but he was by far no where near as passive as his sister. He hissed at the woman, baring his little kitten teeth, and his tail poofed out into a baby-bottle cleaner. "And you're such a bit-chy thing, aren't you, lady!? Hands off! Put me down right now!"

Laurelite frowned. "Oh, you poor things. No mother? Who is looking after you?" she sighed, a bit overdramatically. She looked at Silk and sighed, this time a bit disappointed. "You've got no one to teach you any manners. There, there. Let me take care of you." And she would. Her stance changed quickly; she was no longer gripping their napes but instead adjusted the kittens so she was reaching through, gripping their starseeds. "My little dears, this will only hurt for a moment. And then you can come home with me and I'll give you all the milk and cookies you can stomach." …And then she started shoving Chaos into their little starseeds.

Lace was totally caught up in the warm human that was holding her when she was turned over. She felt something grip into her and a startled meow escaped and she squeezed her eyes shut.
It felt so wrong, as it took over. Whatever it was. And it did hurt and it made her squirm. She wanted to escape.
She couldn't...
"W...Why? Wh...What is...this?" She squeaked out.

"You can take your cookies and shove them up your---" Woah, wait a moment. "Hey---" Silk didn't take kindly to being shifted, on top of being held, and he let out nothing short of a shrill yowl as the general queen shoved Chaos into him. "St-stop!" He hissed, trying to squirm out of Laurelite's grip.

"Hush," Laurelite cooed, keeping a firm grip on both of the starseeds. She could feel the energy flowing through her, and loathe as she was to admit it, perhaps two corruptions at once wasn't the smartest idea. She was light headed—but two Mauvians? Think of all the senshi they could add to their ranks. Think of all the White Moon senshi they could stop—before they even awakened. "My precious little kittens, just give it a moment," she murmured softly. "I promise the pain will be gone soon. All your pain will be gone. You'll never hurt again, and you'll be given purpose—taken care of, and loved. You need only trust me and relax."

Lace's yowls were much more muffled, much more quiet until the shift of chaos ended and she was a limp kitty was left in her place.
"Ahhh...." Laurelite's aura felt so much more welcoming now and she almost felt like...warmth. "Wh...Who are you?"

In this instance, Silk mirrored his twin. His on yowls became muffled, his movements slow and sluggish as Chaos took over, and he too, briefly went limp in the general-queen's hold. He felt the same as well. Where as before Laurelite's aura had been menacing, now it was welcoming. Like a kindred spirit in a sense... Silk cracked an eye open, lifting his head to stare up at her, his ears flat back against his head despite the shift in auras. He just shot her the grumpiest look he could muster as he waited for an answer to the question, and then he shot the look at his sister. " Finally asking something smart for once...!"

"Hush," Laurelite said, quite affectionately. She drew the cats into her arms and cradled them almost lovingly. "I am General Queen Laurelite, my precious little treasures. And I am going to take you back with me, and we are going to get you into a nice home, where you'll be pampered and fawned over. You will not wander, lost in darkness. We have a purpose." She kissed each cat atop their forehead, just over their star. "You and I will awaken senshi, and give them purpose, as well. You will be heroes, my little lovelies. What are your names?" Laurelite was tired; her eyelids were heavy, but she smiled sweetly all the same. How could she not? She had not seen Mauvians this cute in how long?
