As much as she liked her independence, Mercy was finding that paying for things such as rent and the water, sewage and garbage bill on top of the electric was just killing her budget. She didn't want to burden her father by trying to move back into the house even if he wouldn't mind. The restaurant was doing even better now that she wasn't around to piss off customers with her mouth anyway. With that in mind, Mercy sat down at the computer in the library to search for a potential room mate to lessen the burden on her wallet.

Most of what she found didn't please her too much since most of what she could find wasn't up to her standards, there were too many people, OR the rent was extremely high for some shitty a** apartment. She was currently paying up the a** for a shitty apartment so no thank you....The smaller woman was starting to loose hope when she came across a modest, yet informative ad. The rent and utilities were no problem at all, but she was a bit worried about the dog, till she read the next post. Ah, so she was blind? Not a problem either!

So she found what she was looking for, now she just needed to either call or send an e-mail, which since she was on the computer, an email would suffice:



Once the email was scent, Mercy sat back and went to check other things like her facebook and instagram. Maybe she could add more people besides family and some friends.

Just as she was about to leave the library, Mercy stopped mid step, answering her phone with a chipper sounding "Hello? Yes this is she~". She wasn't too shocked to find out it was the girl that posted the Craigslist ad, smiling brightly while on her way to her car. "Oh! Hello! I can meet you any time really, no rush..." She struggled with the lock to her car for a bit while she listened to the directions of the cafe, finally settling for kicking the door in frustration.

The car door popped open then and Mercy just rolled her eyes before sliding in and starting it up.

One day she would get a new car, but for now, this old beater was all she could afford. Hopefully by moving in with a room mate, she could save just a bit more money at a time for a new one. "I can totally meet you, Ill be there in less than ten minutes if my old a** car can warm up quicker..." She really, really, REALLY needed to get a new car. Not that she minded catching the bus or walking everywhere, but sometimes having a car is a bit more convenient. Once the old clunker was warm enough, Mercy made her way to the cafe, parked her car and walked in.

She then realized that she didn't know what Lil looked like. The small woman looked around for a bit before walking up to the only woman in the cafe with a dog by her side. Welp, she really should've just known...Mercy calmly walked up to the woman, smiling and clearing her throat quietly. "Lilith right? I'm Mercy, we just spoke on the phone?~"
