Admittedly, it had taken a fair few days for everything to sink in.

Everything that was said at the meeting, everything she had learned from Raven, the unexpected allies who had offered her aid. Above all else, she was going into Space. SPACE. For the last few days she had reflected in silence, casting aside her Senshi duties so she could focus all her energy on strategy.

Jett had said at the meeting that they should take every opportunity they could to investigate home worlds, and wanted to inquire about what he meant. She would not say where she was going, or who she was going with, she could not even garentee she would look. However, if it was useful to Jett - she might do him this one last favour. She owed him that much, despite the fact he had well and truly pissed her off with his little speech.

Late last night she had send Jett a text asking if he would meet her at a local coffee shop for a catch up. So here she waited, her hair curled and resting gently over her shoulders. She was wearing a Christmas jumper, a skirt and some knee high socks, a pair of flashing antlers rested on her head and illuminated stands of brown hair hair green and red.

In her hand was a warm latte which she sipped occasionally, on the table she had claimed was another drink along with a few pieces of cake. Maybe it was an apology, she was not too sure yet.

Maybe it was ammunition, something to hit him in the face with.

She licked her lips and placed the cup back on the table before referring to the clock on the wall. He should be here any moment. It was a good thing too, her lunch break was already half done.

Jett was prompt, as always; he arrived exactly on time and was quick to locate Ophelia. He offered a friendly enough wave before he sat down across from her.

He didn’t bother to order anything; he was very specific with his coffee in that he liked it black and black alone, and he wasn't going to pay four dollars for someone to get him a cup of hour old, watered down black coffee.

But Ophelia had wanted to meet here, and whatever made her comfortable worked for him.

He started off the conversation simply enough: "Everything all right?"

He was annoyingly punctual.

The clock sounded on the hour as he sat down, perfectly on time.

The brunette brought her mug to her lips and took another long swig of her latte, before placing it in her lap with her fingers laced securely around it. She let out a refreshed sigh as the bells subsided.

She took in a deep breathe, and then her golden eyes fixed on him.

"Jett, I am visiting a Homeworld."

Jett stared for a moment before he slowly raised an eyebrow. He was interested, of course, but the sheer intenseness of her words might have even been enough to alarm him. So he sat, still, staring at her for perhaps a few seconds longer than he really needed to. And then, after he had shaken himself out of the quiet stupor, he moved.

From there, he rested his elbows on the table in front of him and laced his fingers together before hunching forward to be a bit closer to her.

"That's…good." He thought. Ordinarily it would have been good, but she seemed so serious. "…Whose is it?"

"That's classified."

She cleared her throat, letting her gaze drift of to the side as he leaned closer.

"The Senshi in question has no idea I have a powered identity. The situation is overly-complicated as is." She told herself she was being cautious, but the truth was she was rather protective of the character in question. She wanted to keep the opposing Princes as far away from each other as possible.

She brunette folded her arms and then looked back at her friend, she wanted to ask him about Chloe, scold him about that meeting. However it seemed best to handle this meeting one topic at a time.

"However, you said you wanted us to take any opportunity we got - so now I have done that, what exactly do you want me to look for?" She was not promising anything, but she still wanted to offer aid if she could. She still felt indebted, and extended her help like an olive branch.

Jett wasn't used to being told something was classified, and his face clearly showed that. He tried not to look offended, but he did little to hide his judgmental expression.

"Well," he began, "If you have the advantage of them not knowing you are a Dark Mirror Senshi, you can get away with asking a hell of a lot more questions, I'd venture. Ask anything you can think of. How they get to their planet, what memories they've had there. Ask about their power sources, what they know about space travel, if their planet is sustainable. Anything you can think of. We want to know how they can get to their homeworlds, how long they can stay there, if there are any repercussions to staying on the homeworld for an extended time. Anything you can think to ask, if you can. Just…"

He sighed. "Promise me you're going with someone you trust? If it's a trap, I won't know where to go to rescue you, and if no one knows you're up there…there's no telling what could happen. Check in with me before you leave and when you get back or I'll worry about you."

"I will be fine. I mean, we take risks every time we power up. I can not let a chance like this go just because it is dangerous." Ofie did not believe any of them would live to see the end of this war - Even though the thought of kidnap, torture and death seemed far from appealing, the possibility was always there and one she had come to terms with. When her end came, she would meet it with a warriors pride, and welcome it.

More than most, she knew situations could change in an instant.

"I trust him, as I said, he has no idea who I am. He has no reason to harm civilians." The words came out of her mouth and as soon as they did her face stiffened, she had revealed some information about her senshi companion. The brunette took a drink of her coffee, collected her thoughts and then continued, a small sarcastic smile appearing on her face. "It is funny, he is trying to rescue me too. I did not know I seemed like that kind of girl." Putting the empty cup back on the plate with a clang of pottery.

"I will contact you when I get back, with any luck I will have some useful information for you." He was offering her concen, but she had responded very dismissively. The meeting was still fresh in her mind and to be fair she was still angry with him about it. She knew he did not support her idea's, but space, abandoning their home? How could he even think about that. Many wanted direction in the group, now they had it, and she did not feel any more at ease with the situation.

"I guess, if not then, I will see you at Christmas?"

Once more, Jett raised a brow to look at her skeptically. He debated for a moment, but decided any words of caution would have been lost. He wanted to trust her to know what the right thing to do was, but it was hard to do when he trusted so few on the other side. "Sounds like a good plan. Raven's excited to have you around, so make sure you get back in one piece, all right?"

With information or not, he'd have been happy just as long as she made it back all right. And maybe after then she'd be comfortable telling him who she went with.

He seemed to relax, though; maybe he'd been concerned for nothing. Overall he'd have considered this to be a good meeting—and it was nice to touch in with members of the group outside of the big meetings.

Ofie nodded; she knew she would return unharmed.

"I never could have imagined me and Raven would ever see eye to eye - Especially not after being away for so long. I can see a change in her; but I guess becoming a mother does that to you." The brunette would never underestimate the extremes a parent would go to protect a child; at the same time she would not deny how much the addition clouded a persons judgement. Her family might have not been the ideal point of reference when it came to understanding healthy; normal relationships between relatives - but it was one that loved very deeply. She knew first hand how complete and total dedication to someone could result in the most bitter pain. "Is that why your both so afraid? Why would want to run away. Is she worth all the people that we will abandon when chaos finally consumes this planet?

Will she grow up to be proud of us? For all that we have done - for all that we are not doing?"

"She told me that she didn't want to die; that you both have too much to live for now. You know better than most people that I never saw this power as a blessing, but despite that I do see it as a duty; a call to arms."

"It is getting harder; to understand which side of me is the real one; because I am struggling to be both. I do not know how people can make it seem so effortless."
People changed from powered to civilian at the end of the day and it was as effortless as taking off a mask at the end of the day. Ofie often felt like under her own mask was just another one, unable to remember what her actual face looked like. She had always believed it was because Ophelia and Mjolnir were both born on the same day - but it had come apparent that it was far more complicated than that.

She had someone that just saw Ofie; and cared for her. She could not explain the feeling; that bitter after-taste that laid alongside her happiness.

"Both are real. Both sides," Jett said after a moment. "People are multi-faceted. It's not just one person. You become a different person in different situations. You are all you need to be, when you need to be it. But," he shrugged. "I'm not afraid."

He stressed the point and seemed incredibly serious about it.

Jett was not afraid of anything. Fear was a weakness. It consumed you. To even acknowledge it was to give it power.

"I have faith in myself. In my family. In the Court. I won't run away," his eyes were on her, and there was a promise there.

"I never run from a fight. I never have, and I never will. And I will die fighting, if I have to. But."

He shrugged once more.

"No one's going to kill me. They can try, but I'm not going down. Not until we've accomplished everything we've set out to do."

"Bullshit." She muttered under her breathe. How did that even work? Did that mean she as Ofelia was not to be judged by the actions of Mjolnir? Was it that easy to dissociate your faces from each other? Did that make the civilian sides of all officers innocent?

What did that even mean? We are a different person in different situations? She only knew how to be one person; she only knew how to be Emillie.

She did not a whole wardrobe of characters at her disposal; she did not want to live such a fragmented life.

She felt anxiety grow in her; an anxiety that had been bubbling up for months - Looking back she would have never believed that she would still be suffering the aftershocks from her forced corruption. The nightmares, the panic attacks, the fits of tears. "I don't know. I just feel - feel like - I am falling deeper into madness. I am sick of feeling so... breakable."

And now look at the mess she had found herself in; her feelings for not just a White Moon Senshi - Oh no, but for a ******** prince.

She shook her head.

"You are running away, straight into the mirror the first chance you get and ******** anyone left on this world afterwards. We can't just save ourselves and besides; who is to say there is a world out there waiting for you? Isn't that thought scarier than whatever horrors this world holds? -

You could be leading them to nothing Jett; you are not Moses, you can't separate the sea.

We have not lost this world yet - whatever future you all saw, we can still change it."

She stood up and leaned over the table to put a hand on his shoulder.

"We have to." She sighed and then gave a small bow; there was nothing left to say.

Jett did not seem angry, but he did seem at least a little annoyed. And amused.

He did not argue with her; he was not even sure they were fully on the same page. He did not intend to run, but there was no shame in having a backup plan. Fighting for a new world was every bit as meaningful as fighting for the old one.

When they found their new world—when they made one—he didn't intend for it to be exclusionary.

If the Negaverse destroyed this world—if something else did—they would be prepared.

He looked up at Ophelia and nodded.

There was no doubt in his eyes or voice.

"We will," he promised.
