Rainy floated on his back in the water, hair looking like a mass of black tentacles beneath him. Most of his clothing sat folded neatly beside Dem on the shore. At the whistle he opened his eyes and started back towards shore, pausing only once to look over his shoulder at the approaching boat. Curiously he wondered what had happened that the sisters would come looking for them. A small part of him perked up, hope in his breast as he recalled the plea they'd both spoken a few day prior.

Wading over to Dem he stopped at the shoreline, water lapping at his feet. "Do you think...?" He asked, eyes glued to the approaching amazons.

He flashed Dem a grateful smile as she picked up his clothing and plucked his pants from stack. Slipping them on he watched as one of the sisters hopped out of the boat and moved closer to them. He wrapped his sash around his waist to help keep his pants up when Dem was addressed, then the woman turned towards him. "I am. Is...is everything alright?" He asked, eyes flicked between the sisters before them and Dem at his side. He hoped nothing had gone wrong or that nothing had happened to V'denri.

Virain chuckled nervously as the sister displayed her displeasure at having to search for them. But whatever nervousness he'd been feeling was blown away from her next words and Dems reaction "I-I." He stuttered, eyes wide as Dem threw her arms around him, "Dem, Dem! Aisha listened to us! She-she gave us her blessing!" It was hard to see around the tears that pooled in his eyes and tumbled down his cheeks. He hugged her hard, "It's because you're so amazing." He whispered, holding her. "We have to tell your mamae."

"Twins?" He asked, tilting his head at her, "Is-is that as uncommon as with Earthlings?" He wiped at his eyes and rubbed his cheeks which were starting to hurt from smiling so much. "It really is because you're so amazing." He stated, taking the rest of his clothing and donning them. He took her hand and tugged her in the direction of the boats. "Let's not keep your sisters waiting, not when they were kind enough to search all over for us."

He paused a moment before entering the boat, a little surprised that Dem had wanted him to go in first. But when he got a lapful of wet Maha he surmised that it was probably because of that. Laughing he scratched the blue hound under his chin and around his horns, and pressed his face against his neck to stifle his giggles. He was going to be a father to two younglings. Two little girls most likely, or perhaps they'd have a son. Maybe even two little boys. It was all so surreal and he hadn't even laid eyes on them yet.

Dem and the Sisters had said pods, and V'denri had said flowers. What colors would they be? Would they be spotted? What shape would the petals take? He peeked at Dem over Maha's neck and couldn't help but flush again. Gods he was a lucky, lucky man.

"Don't think of a name for one." He said, "Let it come to you when you see them. Names are special and carry weight as well as a certain kind of expectation." He let out a small laugh, "But also don't be like me when I was a youngling, poor Tweet, stuck with a silly name." He hugged Maha's neck and gave Dem a goofy smile, "Do you have any sort of naming tradition or ritual for them?"

"She's right, we don't even know what they look like yet. It wouldn't do to name them and have them be at odds with their names." Imagine giving one a peaceful name and having them always looking grumpy! He beamed at the sister that spoke up before turning his attention to the island they were nearing.

Soon, soon he'd get to see his children and gods did just thinking about them invoke a mix of feelings. He would be a better parent than his had been.
