... And the goddesses wept. For the mortals in the nations outside the holy walls of the Hylian province it meant that there was nothing but justice on the horizon, for even if the Hylians had the troops to put up a fight against one or two of the allied forces of the Oppressed they couldn't hope to fend off an attack from all sides. The Sheikah, perhaps the Hylians' greatest weapon, were divided--no, shattered. Thanks to efforts of Princess Zelda, the Sheikah living in Kakariko were mostly rejoined with the Royal family. However, after some time a gross hybrid had begun to emerge in the population. This only strengthened the resolve of the purists living in the West, who had still found the Gerudo good bedfellows, and when the Demon King moved to smite Castle Town, none objected.
For those with the sacred blood of the Great Goddess coursing through them this was not the end but rather a chance to start anew. And so it was that from the ashes of the old kingdom a new, colder, cleaner, kinder child coughed itself awake to the North. Tired, beaten, the followers of Ganondorf had lost their leader and their will to fight anymore. Besides, what was there to kill? Hylia had fallen, right?
This, as it so happens, was not the case. Over the course of the next decade deals were struck with the more wealthy merchants in the Goron nations and those who were strictly loyal to the goddesses everywhere else, especially among the Zoras. The phantom Hylia had crawled into the heads of many of the same races who were once swayed to stand against her; because it only seemed logical that they could be easily bought the opposite way if they were so easily persuaded in the first place. Now watch it all happen, the real story of new Kingdom Hyrule!

Princess Ashieth
Moving through the building town, Ash kept the hood of her tan cloak pulled up. She wasn't really suppose to be moving around in public without an escort to make sure she was alright, but Ash never really liked having the escorts around. They always seemed so worried and serious about everything. Besides, what wouldn't that just make people more nervous?
People went about their business, construction here and there across the town. They'd done a nice job of making a new home after the attacks. The market, as usual, was bustling with people buying and selling wares. The scents of fresh baked goods wafted in the air with sounds of chatter and even some laughter. Things were finally seeming to look up for them.

(Just skip them for now.) She wasn't wrong either. Castle Town was finally starting to grow new roots after the transplant here, and more to the point it was finally looking like a citadel worthy of that kind of name again. Money changers in the shade talked with some of the Gerudo with some snacks handy while children with fans made a few rupees fanning them--because it was less pathetic than shining shoes--an archery class was underway further down the alley with the aim ( emotion_dealwithit ) of educating the civilians about the joys and peace of mind of owning a weapon and knowing how to use it, from the upper stories of the apartments came the tapping drip of everyday arguments, a sure sign things were finally settling down, and everywhere performers capitalising of the excess capitol those in the Hylian capital had on them as they strolled through the rhythmic stone streets. One of the most recognisable, that is to say stand-out, of these was a girl dancing around a large and intricately patterned circle of gold and blue on a scarlet carpet. She had a little tent off to the side, but other than that the operation seemed pretty bare-bones. The way she danced, however, was not so easily pinned down. Sometimes she hopped around, tarantella in the sun like the scorpions so admirably warned of by the Desert Folk, sometimes she spun in the afterthought of the cool breeze, her limbs flowing like smoke in and out of uneven light in the patchwork framings of a summer night.

((kk)) Princess Ashieth
Walking through the streets, Ash's bare feet came to a stop as she spotted a dancer. The woman seemed so graceful and calm, no signs of the remains of war showing as her movements brought a small smile of awe to Ash's face. She'd always wanted to be able to dance like that, though never seemed to be able to find much time for it considering everything that was going on plus her parents making sure she knew what she needed. The only real dancing she had learned was formal slow dancing with a partner. Double checking her hood was still alright and not revealing to much of her face, Ash wandered a bit closer to the woman, maneuvering her way through the shuffling crowd.

Soon the dancer would come to a stop, the music that carried her floating on around her and the incense too obeying the current as it formed gyres around her at the hip and shoulder. She was looking the princess dead in the eye as raised her silky arms to motion for the young one to come forth. Her feet retreated quietly as she curled a finger. Soon she would be in the tent, and as if by magic the voice of the crowd returned in fragmented murmurs about the summoning. Someone would eventually nudge the princess to follow the dancer into the tent.

As the dancer drew her show to a close, Ash was surprised to see the dancer summoning her towards the tent. Her thoughts were confirmed as people started talking about the dancer summoning her over to the tent. What was that about? Should she actually go in? She wasn't even sure how much longer she could be away from the castle without someone starting to worry. Despite the thoughts, Ash couldn't help the feeling of curiousity, and made her way over to the tent. Standing at the door, she paused for a slight moment before lifting the flap to get inside and moving in, the flap quietly closing behind her. "Ummm hello?" she spoke in her small voice.

The incense was even stronger inside, curling off the walls with the introduction of a new draft led in by the both of them. The dancer sat at a table in the back center of the tent which was surrounded by a series of concentric arrays where stars were laid out not in haphazard scatter but very thoughtfully. A brighter star was placed next to each node--there were many nodes--which bore the insignia of each province of Hyrule.
"Welcome~ Welcome~" Cooed the dancer. She bade her come closer, shuffling some cards on the table. "You must be tired. All that walking around takes a toll, doesn't it?" She said point to a seat. It wasn't clear how she knew Ash was walking a lot, but suffice to say she had her ways.

The unfamiliar scents that filled the tent made Ash feel a bit more relaxed, thinking that it smelled quite nice. As the dancer spoke, Ash turned her attention onto the woman and bowed with a small smile before going to the seat the dancer had motioned her towards and taking a seat. "It's a nice day. I figured it would be a great time to go for a walk. Your performance was beautiful." Ash spoke then realised she hadn't introduced herself. "Oh, sorry. You can call me Ash."

"Ash...ieth?" Said the woman with a smirk. "Please, give me your hand." If Ash went through with it she would remark at how soft the princess' hands were, thus furnishing her claim of the girl being royalty.
"Yes, it is, isn't it?" She said referring to the day again. Outside some of the voices could be heard, as apparently the crowd had wandered steadily closer to the tent. "--Then again, it's always a nice to move about freely."

Ash was a bit startled as the woman seemed to know who she was. Figuring there wasn't really any point in hiding it now, Ash gave a small nod and took down her hood. The woman didn't seem like she had any bad intentions, plus, Ash trusted the people of the kingdom.
As the dancer asked for her hand, Ash gently held it out, letting out a light giggle as the dancer commented on her smooth skin. "That's nice of you to say." she replied then gave a nod. "Yeah, it's nice to just be able to roam about. So many things to see. I'm sure you've seen some amazing things." Ash smiled.

"Ah, you have good instincts!" Agreed the dancer with her normal amount of cheer. "Please, you must let me tell your fortune." Some of the crowd had poked their heads into the tent at this point. Some of them whispered things like, "OY, DO MY FORTUNE MS. AMIEL!" but for the most part they were quiet enough.
"Free of charge, of course." said the fortune-dancer as she turned her attention back to Ash.

Ash tensed a bit as a couple voices quietly spoke behind her as people from the crowd popped their heads into the tent. She quickly relaxed however and smiled at the dancer, who according to the people, was named Ms.Amiel. When Ms.Amiel offered to read her fortune, Ash smiled and gave a nod, excited by the idea. No harm in it, right? "That sounds fun. What do I have to do?" Ash asked curiously unsure if she had to do anything to help Amiel with the reading.

"Follow me," said the dancer with a smirk as she got up from her seat and twirled over to a small curtain that acted as a false wall. With a little flick it was gone, leaving in its wake a quiet draft and the smell of exotic powders in their purest state.
"First pick your favorite color out of these, if you would." The spread itself was magnificent. Twenty small dishes on a long table with an assortment of colors that ranged from the most brilliant colors to the dreary and pensive brown of autumnal earth to the lavender of youthful sunrises in the proper goddess given land of Faron.

Following Ms.Amiel, Ash couldn't help the amused smile that can to her face as the dancer made one of the curtains seemingly disappear, a new wave of scents taking it's place. Behind it there had been an assortment of plates lain out on a table, each with it's own color. When instructed to pick one of the plates out, Ash looked at the dancer for a moment before giving a small nod and going closer to the table.
All the plates were in very nice condition, each showing it's color off with a gleam. After looking over all the plates, Ash couldn't help her eyes from trailing back onto the teal colored plate. Something about it just felt like it called out to her. "This one." Ash spoke pointing to it as she looked at the dancer. She wasn't sure if she was suppose to pick it up or not so decided to leave it as it is.

Amiel nodded thoughtfully, appearing to take mental note of Ash's choice. She waved for the spectators to come in and drop some donations in the jar by the entrance with her graceful hands. From behind her back came a stripe of purple cloth. "Very good, darling," cooed the dancer with her lyrical voice. "Now, if you wouldn't mind, put this on and choose which of these you think smells best." All of this had a point, but it wouldn't be revealed just yet.
