Mink sat back in the chair she had wiggled into, legs propping up on the desk as her tail swished under her. She had yet to return to her pack, having stayed in the offered free dorm room as she pondered her choices. She was Shaman now of her tribe, which meant great responsibility. That, and now she was stuck figuring out the future of her people and the academy. Yet, it wasn't as stressful as she had originally thought. She had always, back when she was just the Alpha, had thoughts about how she'd do things. Now, she could do it. She just needed the courage to go ahead and believe in herself.

That wasn't the only concern the Grimm had. She had, for a long time, wanted a child. Originally, she had someone she wanted to have kids with, but things have become tense. Stressful. Complicated. They argued more than not, and suddenly having a kid was on the back burner. Now, she was single, which meant she could actually step forward and do it, which caused a moment of pause. The thing she had always said she'd do someday could now be today, and it was surreal. Not only that, but now she knew of a world that allowed even more options for a child. She didn't need to rely on the limited soul stones they had back home. She had options. So many of them. Now, things were different, and she wasn't sure if she was ready to take the plunge.

No, she was ready. She was just anxious. What if she was a bad mother? What if Kinley grew jealous and hated her for her decision? What if.... Yet, he had always wanted a family, and she could expand it. Make him a big brother and give him more of what he had always wanted. They could be one big happy family. A smile touched her features at that thought, her little feet wiggling. She needed to get a home closer to the academy, then! For both Kinley and the future baby! She had so much planning to do! So much to tell Kinley! To tell her tribe!
