Sufago and sparrow awoke in a daze, as far as they could tell they were located in some kind of an inn. "Where.... what happened?" Sparrow mumbled off looking towards sufago. He knew he wasn't going to get a response from the silent drennon, but he figured maybe he would talk now.

The shadows of the corners began to seemingly twist and shift about. A vaguely familiar figure emerged from the darkness. "Confused? As expected, you lossst to the creature, but no fear he have sssaved you. But, more danger looms upon the horizzzzen." Odio looked upon the two from under the endless black hood. "Who saved us? What happened to me! Why can I move so quickly?" Sparrow spat out. "He is the ancient, you battle the creature halfway between your dimension and half way between theirsss. You shouldn't, stay there so long. It changes ussss. That creature was one of many, part of the swarm. They eat world's devour resources. Farshia must fight, he will not help those unwilling to help themselves. You mussst find the book of life. It tells tales of what happened, nothing can change it. You need a hero to rally farshia. Quest is crucial for survival." Sufago and sparrow took in the words the mysterious man had said. They were still confused and the fact they were told about another quest didn't help the situation. But from the style of the inn they guessed they were in illington, if there was once place to find information it was here.

Though this city was less than ideal, it would work temporarily for the young Drow. Desidarya sat at the bar in Kelthrop Inn (unknowingly a few blocks from Sufago and Sparrow) mulling over her food. The Inn keeper would only allow her to stay if she hunted and provided her kills to the Inn and on rare occasion he would have her unkindly escort an unruly patron out of the lobby.
This was the only city she openly kept her hood of her cowl down. Once in a while a drunkard would only see her long white hair from the back, but then turn and scream in horror when they saw her dark skin. The sting of such rejection died a long time ago, but tonight she was in no mood for mankind. With a huff, Desidarya shoved her plate away, threw her hood up, and hastily left the Inn to roam the streets.

Gathering information was more of a volcruz kind of thing, and seeing as sufago didn't speak sparrow had to be a mouth piece. As per past reference bars always seemed to hold information brokers. Practically any pub was filled with at least one gossiping scoundrel, so their destination was set.

The pair stumbled upon a bar and inn, sparrow looked up at the tattered sign, "kelthrop inn, well let's get this over with...". Sufago nodded with his cold stare perfectly intact. The two entered the bar and scanned for the scummiest corner they could find. A man and three patrons sat in a circle in the back corner. Sparrow mark these men as they info brokers. First they sat at a table to grab some food. It had been who knows how long until ate a real meal.

The bar tender noted the two new patrons and sighed heavily. The bar was already packed full and started getting slightly unruly. On top of that his best bouncer was no where to be seen. The burley man made his way over to their table with very little motivation, "What can I get ye?"

With in an hour of leaving the bar, Desidarya had managed to hunt down a handful of rabbits and return to Kelthrop Inn. With her hood still up, the elf made her way straight past all the tables and to the back room where the kitchen was. The cook back there wasn't surprised by her presence, but was also was not happy. Though she had been nothing but a blessing upon the Inn, they still had not come to accept her. It didn't matter though as Desidarya started to skin the rabbits.

The two looked to the heavy set man asking what they wanted, of course sparrow had to speak up for them, "two things, first off anything edible and second of all, we are looking for those well verse in gossip and knowledge." Sufago sternly stared upon the man, sufago had a naturally threatening presence to begin with but his silence seemed to intensify his entire demeanor. Sparrow intensely awaited a response, although he wasn't sure if if his attitude was leaning more towards consuming food of taste or learning a little more of their force upon quest.

The man chuckled and shook his head, "Ye two must be new. An infant could throw a rock an' hit someone 'well versed' in the gossip o' this town." With another chuckle and shake, the Inn keep walked off to retrieve their food. He piled up two plates of roasted rabbit and potatoes and grimly turned on Desidarya. He had taken a liking to the brave elf, but he needed to keep up the tough appearance, so he never showed her much kindness around others. "Drow! Take these plates to the two men in the corner!"
With an incredibly heavy sigh, she turned around with hands held up to be filled. She kept her chin down to keep her hood covering her face as she approached Sufago and Sparrow. Her main focus was on Sufago. His stern glare made her curious and yet defensive. She gently placed thr plates down and asked if there was anything else they needed.

It was a curious sight, a server serving food in a hood, but they weren't complaining. Sparrow spoke up, "Well see here's the thing, us two happen to be part of what you normies call the Guardian Trinity, and we need someone that has a bit of gossip in them, not just dirty gossip but someone with a little good ole wisdom. We're looking for a book, and from what we can tell it's something special, something unique. We need someone that that not only knows what it is but how to go about finding it. Tell me you know someone that might just happen to know where this is. If it's any incentive, it sounds as if the fate of Farshia lays at stake." Sparrow leaned back in his chair as he looked about the room to see if he'd caught anyone's interest. But it had seemed that he was but a leaf blowing in the wind as his words caught no wandering ears. He looked over to Sufago who sat as straight up as one could be staring at the drow,.

His words caught her attention but Sufagos rough stare also gave her pause. Desidarya lowered her chin a little more and turned her full attention to Sparrow, "That is quite a vague book you seem to be looking for. Do you have any other information on it?"

Sparrow gave a little half hearted chuckle, "well, here's the thing, we don't know a lot about it besides it tells the story of the past no matter what, and it's called." Sparrow paused briefly as he looked around, he had caught the attention of a few tables now. "The book of life". Attention in the bar was much more involved in the threes conversation, sparrow was starting to get an idea that this book might be as hard to locate as he thought, obtaining it on the other hand might be a different story.

Desidarya titled her head to the side and took and moment to pause. The elf looked around to see who was payong attention and noted many scruffy men avert their eyes, but they made no attempt to hide their previous stare. "Have a drink. Eat up. Feel free to talk to the locals here. I will see who I can find who may know of where to look for your book. I'll return in the morning."

She quickly turned on her heels and headed for the exit. As she passed the tables, her delicate ears caught some drunkard curse "black devil" under his breath. Once she hit the streets, Desidarya knew just where to go and her pace quickened drastically. There was a fat halfling by the nickename Rumblebelly that seemed to know more than he should. He lived on the very edge of this gross city underground for he didnt much care for the people though he seemed to thrive on their evil nature.
The Drow didnt even have to knock on his door, he was already waiting with a smile, "For someone so dark, you sure do stand out in this night air." He teased. He never meant harm by his prodding of her race and she knew it. With a genuine smile on her face, Desidarya lowered her hood and walked right in; Rumblebelly quickly closed the door right behind her.

The dark skinned server could be of use if she could actually get information. Sparrow looked down at his plate and finally began to eat, it felt like ages since his last actual meal. Sufago also began devouring his meal. They were a funny pair, a silent drennon that seemed closer to monster than to a man. And sparrow, the open mouthed wise cracker always prepared with a word on tongue. Sparrow wasn't an overly attractive time man, he wasn't an ugly one either. He was seemingly an average looking human with muscles formed by armor. Sufago on the other was a tower man built like a castle. Sufago just looked like someone you wanted on your side in a scrap, whether he could fight or not his intimidation factor was immense.

As the two eat their meal a small chubby man, accompanied by 3 rougher looking men sat at their table. "The book of life you say? I could have some information on that book. If you really seek it. But it wouldn't be free." The chubby man seemed all to smug as he let the words slither from his lips. Sparrow was intrigued by the offer even though he trusted the server. "What kind of price might we be speaking of?" Sparrow gave the man his full attention. " well you see, it's not everyday you see a server like the lady you see here, she could be very profitable in a certain market if you catch my drift. You help us, um how do I say it... tame her. And we'll set you on your path to the book." Sparrow smiled at the chubby man, sufago was not amused, sparrow held his hand up towards sufago, " so you are telling me you want me to help you force someone that's already helping us for free into a prostitution ring so you can help us? First of my chubby tablemate, we have no idea if she has any abilities which could cause for many problems, second off why should we even trust scum like you, you are in fact a resident of illington and let's face it, none of you should ever be trusted. We would probably be doing this city a favor by just killing you right here at this table. But we need to be here and there's no need to cause an uproar while we wait. So I suggest you go back to your dark little corner so I don't have to see your hideous trolls a** looking face." At this point in the conversation the three men accompanying the man began to circle around the table, the chubby ring leader grinned a disgusting little grin. "Well that's too bad it has to go this way, we could have both benefitted, and as for that uproar I think you forget what city". Before the man could finish sufago had one of his goons by the throat in testifying his grip as blood started to rip down the man's neck the others drew their daggers as sufago crushed the man's throat ripping out his windpipe. Sufago grabbed a second goon grabbing his face, the man's head began to glow as in exploded in sufago palm and his lifeless body fell to the ground. Sufago armor began to move shifting around his body as it screeched and tore about. He manipulated his arm around the third goons arms ripping one of his arms clean off. It had been to long since sufago had to use his armor in battle but killing this three quickly would make a point to anyone else in this pub. Sparrow looked at the chubby man, who was filled with complete horror at what he just witnessed. The entire massacre lasted roughly 15 seconds and the carnage was overwhelming. Sparrow smiled, as soon as the man looked at him.sparrow was instantly behind him sword completely I'm paling the man from the behind. The entire pub had no idea what to even say let alone think. The massive sufago sat back down in his chair, covered in blood, and continued eating his meal.

The Inn keeper had seen a lot in his time, but nothing like Sufago. He stood behind the bar in complete shock and frozen in place by terror. The cook had come out of the kitchen just in time to see the last man die impossibly fast. Both of them had their eyes locked on the huge man. It took them what felt like hours to find the strength to move their feet towards the back room. Not knowing what to say, the keeper moved to fill a bucket and grab a mop. By the time he returned to the dining area, most the place had emptied out. He wasnt surprised. This town was not known for it's cowardly crooks, but most were smart enough to know when they were out powered. As he started mopping up the mess, he kept his gaze to the floor and mumbled to himself about how he thought Drow were intimidating enough, now this...

Rumblebelly turned quickly to see Desidarya remove her cloak and sit next to the fire place. He admired her form very much and cared not for her heritage. Elves of any race were alwaya ver attractive to him. Her white hair reached her mid back and her skin was flawless. She turned her gentle gaze to her little friend and sat down in the recliner he generally used. While folding his arms across his chest, he slowly wandered to the fire, "So what can I do for you Desi?"
Her eyes lit up with the fires of adventure and oh how he loved it. Her spirit was just as wild as her fathers.
They spent many hours discussing and researching through his books to find any clue to what she seeked. Finally there was one hint and it pointed to Landria.
The dawn was still a few hours away, but Desidarya preffered to travel before the sun awoke. As she threw her cloak back on and hood up, she turned with a heavy heart, "Thank you for all your help Regis...I'll send word to you when I can." They hugged for possibly the last time, she knew for Regis was becoming quite old. With determination to leave this town once and for all, she hastily made her way back to the Inn.

Sparrow had returned to his seat wiping his blade casually looming at the 4 bodies sprawled across the floor. He looked toward the inn keeper, then toward sufago. Sufago returned a looks and noticed sparrow tilting his head toward the inn keeper. Sufago confused held his hand up to his neck sliding his finger across it as he tilted his head towards the inn keeper. Sparrow surprisingly shook his head and nodded his head down toward the bodies then tilted his head toward the door. Sufago then stood up, stared down at the inn keeper. After pausing for a moment sufago began picking up pieces of body parts and taking then out to the street. He piled the bodies and all the separated body parts into a pile outside the door. Now covered in even more gore, sufago sat back down and finished his meal. Sparrow chuckled, "gonna be a giant blood stain shaped like an asd on that chair." Sparrow started in on his beer.

The keeper sighed with great releif when the large man took all the body parts outside. He couldn't help but chuckle at the smaller ones comment as he walked away with the bucket and mop.

Desidarya's heart sank breifly when she saw the bodies outside the door of the Inn. Her hands went straight to her hips where she had one dagger holstered on each side. As she approached the Inn, she realized it was very quiet and the excitement was probably over, but she still entered with caution. The Inn keeper caught her attention first and it seemed odd to how releived he was to see her.

Then her eyes fell to the last remaining patrons; the two she had left for. Now seeing the large man covered in blood made her hesitate as she approached, her slender hands still on her daggers. "Seems you had more fun than I."

Sparrow looked at at the returned server, taking a sip of his beer and then setting down in the table, " this beer is delightful, but I'm sure you know that already. As for fun, this big guy did you guys the favor of lessen the scum of your patrons, and the big guy is growing up as well. Even cleaned up after himself, well kinda. I hope your journey was successful because we just killed people that might have had information on the book." Sparrow picked up his beer. Sufago almost looked as if he was trying to smile but ackward and almost horrifying failed.
