It had been several weeks since his encounter with Soliel, he was supposed to come by sooner, but had been torn over what was 'too soon' to come by. Then, things had got a little bit crazy at home. Now, he was walking through the forest, a grown adult. As he walked he thought how strange it would be to knock on her door, 'can Soliel come out and play?' Personally, if someone like him came knocking on the door to see his sister he would probably slam the door in the guys' face. He had told her he would come though, and he couldn't let his recent growth spurt get in the way of that.

He thought of the map that Soliel had drawn in the sand, feeling like he should be there by now, but he still hadn't stumbled on the clearing she had mentioned. Remy changed directions, maybe he was too far down. Finally, after wandering for quite a bit more, Remy saw the clearing and the big house that you really couldn't miss. He hoped she was home, and hope she was the one answering the door. While he might normally be bounding up towards the house, he was actually kind of timid as he approached the door and gave it a quick tap tap.

"Cleaning, making the house all sparkle. Cleaning, how I love to-" The yellow pae abruptly cut off his singing to look up at a knock. He wasn't expecting any company today. Was one of his siblings stopping by for a visit? He glanced down at his grimy hands as he had just finished dusting a shelving unit. "Sol?! Can you get the door please?"

User Image The night sky demoness was busy herself with the days chores, making her bed and tidying up her bedroom floor. When a knock made her pause in curiosity. Her folks didn't mention anyone coming. At her fathers request she dropped the plush toy she had picked up onto her bed and quickly walked out. "Okay daddy!" By the time 'daddy' left her lips she was at the door. She reached out and pulled it open. "Hi! What can I-" Blink. Blink. Soliel stared for a moment as realization washed over her. That rainbow pattern, and fluffy fluffy tail. "Remy!" She squeaked in surprise. He was so big now! Well, so was she. But he was so...so...so...handsome. Wow. "You came! I meant to come but I got busy and then I thought you forgot about me." She started to ramble, feeling her face heat.

Remy? His head shot to the side to look towards the door. Dirty or not, Dameon rushed over to the doorway to pop right behind his daughter. "Hello there!" His steel blue eyes flicked from the rainbow male to the demon and back again. Finally! A daughter who brought a male home that he could embarrass. He'd been waiting for this a long time. "I see you already know each other! Sol, whose this?"

Remy's ears flicked as the murmurings of sound came through the door. He couldn't tell what was being said, he only knew that there was two different voices. The male took a deep breath, but then the door flung open and it was Soliel.

He couldn't hide his excitement, literally, as the fluffy tail she seemed to like so much, sprung up and wagged back and forth like crazy. He took a moment to settle down, "Wow! I mean- hey!" He blurted out. She had grown too, good. Or at least, it made it less weird that he was stopping by. Right? His brain felt scrambled. "Of course I didn't forget about you. I-" he was about to explain what took so long when they were no longer alone.

His tail stopped wagging instantly, and drooped behind him. For a moment he looked like a deer caught in the headlights as he recovered. "Uh, hey." He greeted the older male.

She couldn't believe he was here! She was so excited - HE looked so excited! The demon was listening expectantly to his explanation when suddenly he cut off. And then she heard a voice behind her.

Oh how embarrassing. "Oh, this is Remy! He's my friend." Perhaps she should have mentioned the wolf pae to her dad prior to this, but the fear of being teased kept her mouth shut. Though she wouldn't be able to escape it later now that the cat was out of the bag. "Remy, this is my dad."

What a wide eyed look he got! Was he that intimidating looking? A shiny, yellow, long haired pae? He grinned broadly with a chuckle. "I've heard absolutely nothing about you. Nice to meet you though, I'm Dameon." He pushed a little past his blushing daughter to stick a hand out to the wolf male. "I assume though you're here for her, and not for me."

Remy smiled awkwardly as he was introduced and gave a small wave. So much for those awkward teen years being behind him. "It's nice to meet you sir... Dameon.... sir." Should he be relieved Dameon hadn't heard anything about him? He wasn't sure.

Deep breath.

"Yeah, I told her I would stop by sometime." Why was he saying that, he should just shut his mouth now. He looked at Soliel, his eyes screaming 'help!', although he wasn't entirely sure why he was having such a hard time and even needing help.

This was so embarrassing. So, so embarrassing. She wished she could just fade away into thin air.

Remy turned his big amythest eyes on her, looking much the same as how she felt. Soliel quickly took a step forward while looping an arm around Remy's. "Alright daddy, you met him, we should be off now. I'll be back for dinner, bye bye!" As she spoke she started walking off, leading Remy away from her beaming father.

With his hand ignored, he smoothly raised it to rub the back of his head, chuckling it off. The male really did seem scared spit-less of him! "Okay, okay. Hint taken. Have fun you two." He'd let it go for now to end their torment. My little girl is all grown up! He thought with the largest grin possible. Wait until he told Starry about this!

Remy was stiff as a board as Soliel led him away, when they had gotten what seemed like far enough, he turned his head to look back at the door. "Sorry about that." He said, stopping in his tracks and attempting to loosen up a little. "I don't know what came over me," Remy took another big breath. This wasn't exactly how he planned to start things, not that he had necessarily had a plan.

"Your home looks great, or at least what I saw of it." Mostly the outside really. He was at somewhat of a loss for words, he had never mentally got past knocking on the door, and the encounter with Soliel's father had him feeling a little off. Or maybe he just felt off because she seemed so different to him.

As they traveled down the tree and started walking away from her home, she dropped his arm rather quickly. Her face felt on fire from her blush. So, SO embarrassing! "No, I'm sorry. My dad is so lame."

Suddenly the male stopped walking though, so she followed suit to look curiously at him. "Oh! Thanks. It's alright, I guess. Kind of getting cramped now that everyone's getting bigger." She tried to downplay the bit of excitement she felt that he liked her home. "So...you didn't forget about me?" Soliel asked a bit shyly. "I mean I don't really mind if you did. I understand." There we go, always be sure to backpedal.

It's not like she cared or anything. Mostly.

Remy couldn't help but laugh. Her dad was lame? He had totally been the lame one, her dad had been smooth as ice the whole time. "Thanks, but I don't know..."

"I know the feeling," he responded, my home has been cramped since the beginning. I'm not sure my parents were expecting it to be so many of us," and with most of them being so high energy it made the home shrink even more, only to get worse as they got bigger. Remy smiled and shook his head, "Nope, I had meant to stop by, but I waited a little bit, and then things were kind of crazy at home because my brother left and..." Remy stopped himself before he rambled on too much. "I didn't forget about you," he said firmly.

She smiled lightly as he described his home life. It was nice to know she wasn't alone! They both came from large families. Which was great, being surrounded by so much love. But she lost count of how many times she tripped over someone, and in the mornings trying to get to use the bathroom...forget about it. "I know how that goes. My sisters Siofra and Jollibee were complete surprises."

A warm familiar blush greeted her face as he confirmed that he didn't forget about her. It made her stomach feel all tingly for some reason, like how'd she feel if she was nervous. But there was nothing to be nervous about! "Crazy because your brother left?" That was a much safer topic. Smoothed her tickling stomach. "Is everything okay?" She spoke with genuine concern, knowing herself how much family meant.

Remy nodded his head 'yes' in response to both her questions. "I mean mostly." He clarified. "I understand why he left. I plan on leaving soon too. It was just the way he left. Feels like I'm never going to see him again." It was clear there was still some hurt there, especially now that his initial anger over the matter was gone. When he left he would say goodbye, and come back to visit. His brother hadn't said goodbye, and he was fairly certain there wasn't going to be any visits.

Remy hated being on such a miserable topic though. "What about you though?" He didn't have to do much to put some high-energy perk to his voice. "Anything new happen in your life?"

"Oh?" He was leaving soon? Would she be able to see him again? She wanted to ask where he'd be going, but she didn't want to appear clingy. Or like a creepy stalker.

The demon smiled lightly when he asked about herself, and she reached up to play with a tuff of her hair. "Well, not really. My life is pretty boring. Hmmm...I caught a really big rabbit yesterday." As she spoke she moved her hand away from her hand to space them out to show approximately how big. "Planning on making some mittens from it to sell."

A lot less dramatic than a family member leaving, her life was fairly simple. "Oh! I found a pretty cool clearing not to far from here...would you want to check it out?"

Remy shrugged his shoulders, " I don't know where yet or anything. I should probably figure that out first." He wasn't sure she really cared all that much, it was sometimes hard to tell with her.

His eyes grew wide as she measured out the size of her rabbit. He was impressed by her skills too, rabbits didn't really grow to be that big by being an easy target. "What are you hoping to get for it?" Remy had never bartered or traded before.

Remy didn't have any other ideas or plans for today, and right now they were walking pretty aimlessly, "Sure, I am open to anything."

So she had some time before he moved away. Her face perked up at the news. "Oh really?" That sounded way too relieved. "Well, if you need help moving, I can lend some muscle." Perfect! She could know where he moved to, and not look like a creepy stalker.

As he agreed to go to the clearing, she shifted her body slightly to start leading in a new direction. Off of their aimless wandering and onto to the path of her discovered location. She straightened a little with pride at his awe, happy that he was in awe at her catch. "A good pair of mittens like those are worth a lot to the right pae. Maybe a nicely crafted bow from an actual weaponspae. My traps are pretty good, but a bow would be nice for the extra crafty animals. Or a really cute summer dress. Haven't decided which yet." Two completely opposite things. Summed up Soliel pretty nicely. "What's the next thing you'd want to get from trade?"

Remy side glanced at Soliel and smiled at her response. Maybe, just maybe, he was starting to figure her out. "I'll be sure to keep you in mind." For a moment he wondered how close would be too obvious if he moved closer to her. Either way it was going to be difficult to figure out which location would be the best to stake his claim, he didn't want to go too far away.

He mindlessly followed Soliel, laughing at her two options for trading. So very, very different. "Well, I guess if you trade for the bow, you can use the bow to hunt... Even better... And then trade for as many dresses as you'd like." Remy shrugged his shoulders, not confident in his idea since he wasn't very experienced in trading.

He had to think long and hard on her next question, unsure if there was anything he really desired, when he couldn't come up with an answer as awesome as a bow or dress he answered simply and with a playful grin, "sugared fruit."
