At one time all was normal for the characters in Disney movies. They had the perfect lives, had the perfect family and the best out comes anyone could ever have. But unfortunately, that all changed. On the anniversary of Walt Disney's birth day, something magical happen or what should have been. Upon this day, Disney characters started disappearing from their movies. Where did they go? Who on earth would do something so tragic? No one knew. The characters or should I say people are now residing in Los Angeles, California. They have lost their memories... Well... ♦▬Merida & Mulan▬♦ ▬Princess of Dunbroch & Warrior of China ▬ --------------------------------♦When will my Reflection show?♦--------------------------------- Morning had arrived upon the big city of Los Angeles, although two of the people of this story do not plan on staying in the city...maybe.
Merida lived near the Angeles National Park which was a little far from the City of Los Angeles, but they were still in the LA County. She was outside of her house which had three bedrooms, two baths, a big dining and living room, and a stable for their horses, including Angus and Khan. Khan was Merida's friend's horse. However, since they had to move inside Los Angeles for...'reasons', Khan stayed with them. In all honestly, Merida didn't mind, she loved Khan. He was a very protective, but gentle horse so they could use him for their activities.
And Yes, Merida's family does a horseback riding program so sometimes they get customers. Only they cannot use Angus, since he refuses to be ridden by anyone else except Merida. Merida does not attend the activities as she rather do the 'extreme' path, and Mulan too. It might be why the got along pretty well. Because both of them are tomboys, and both do not want to follow the standards their parents have. However, they both confronted it differently: Mulan was gently about it, but she had to kick some butt to prove that she can be 'something worthwhile' she called it. Merida did it horribly, fighting with her Mom, destroying each other's stuff....but there was something else Merida thought they did, but she couldn't remember it. Neither did Mulan, she barely remembered what had happened till now. Which made both of them anxious.
Merida was having Angus trot around until a car pulled up. Merida knew it was Mulan by the car she had. Mulan always rode an environmental-friendly car, a Chevrolet Volt which was a nice shade of silver which sparkled. Merida stopped Angus as she saw the car pull in, and out came in an Asian girl with modest clothing. Mulan had a big smile on her face as she could see Merida on the horse. Suddenly there was sound of something running toward them. It was a black horse who had heard the car coming in. Mulan's face lightened up: "KHAN! HI KHAN!" Mulan called out with Khan going to her, nuzzling her with his head. Merida chuckled a little as she then decided to get off Angus and go toward Mulan and Khan. "Khan is a good addition to the family. Gets along with everyone, you have no idea how many compliments he gets for his color." She spoke in a very obvious Scottish accent, as Mulan petted Khan on the head. "I just wish I didn't have to move so far for my...parents."
"Why didn't you just tell them to 'screw off' and that you're staying where you were?" Despite both of them having the same personality; they have different ways of dealing with problems. Mulan eyed Merida. "Because I would never disrespect my family's decisions. Things change, we just have to adapt. It worked out well in the end, Khan would not have liked the big streets." Merida shrugged as Mulan then stopped petting Khan. "Anyway, we gotta go. It is time to have a girlfriends out!" Merida was the only friend Mulan had who was a girl. Too bad though it was a tomboy, but it didn't matter. "A girlfriends....out?"
"Yeah....I think? It's where we just hang out for the whole day."
"I know what you're trying to say, the way you said it though...HAHA!" Merida laughed, which made Mulan frown. Merida always teased Mulan's Clumsy and Awkward nature. Merida stopped laughing though when Khan started snorting. Merida then stared at her choice of clothing which wasn't dirty so she knew she was ready. "Alright Angus, I gotta go. Imma hang out with Mulan. Be good alright?" She then had a hand on both Khan and Angus' reins. "I'll be out soon." Mulan shrugged as she got in the car and adjusted the seats and GPS as Merida went to put the horses back in the stable.
While she walked to the stables, she heard her Dad call out. "Lassie! Who is that outside?" "It's Mulan Dad, she she wants to hang out for the day!" "Ah! Mulan!" She then heard him get out of the back of the house, as Merida got both of the horses to their stables. Her Dad (Fergus) came out and gave her a light kiss on the head. "Be back until Dark! And have fun!" "I will father! Bye!" She then jogged to the front of the house to get to Mulan who was in the car. "Let's go!" Mulan enthusiastically said as she got to the car, with both of them driving out of the house to go and do their 'girlfriend day'. Girlfriend day....Merida was still laughing about that.
With the music of 'Linkin Park' playing inside the car, they were driving around to find the best places to hang out in Los Angeles as they had to drive around for a bit until a car got out so they parked where the car got out so they could walk around. "So...what exactly are we doing?"
"Uhhh...well...they said to do...whatever?'
"I need to question your planning skills." Merida got out of the car, with Mulan turning off the car and exiting, making sure it was locked afterward. "Oh come on! It's not fun having a plan!...well...unless in battle, but otherwise-!" Merida just crossed her arms, and snickered...finding it very funny that this girl she hung out with was so....so...awkward!
"Alright, let's go do...whatever we want!" Both girls walked down the streets to go explore and find something to do. -------------------------------♦Shining light on the things that we've done♦------------------------- ((OutOfClams: I am basing Merida's location at the fact they are still in LA County, since Angeles National Park is an hour away by car. So she is still in LA...but in LA County.))

❥ One pill makes you larger // And one pill makes you small And the ones that mother gives you // Don't do anything at all Go ask Alice, when she's ten feet tall ♣ Alice rose fairly late that morning, not getting out of bed until around ten o'clock. She quickly showered and went downstairs, finding the housekeeper -- Mali -- and her younger sister Edith finishing up with breakfast. "Miss Alice, I see you've finally arisen from your grave." Mali greeted, noting the girl's decision to sleep in. Alice rolled her eyes and gave the woman a smile, sitting down at the counter in the large kitchen as the housekeeper placed a plate of bacon and eggs in front of her. Edith and Alice often ate meals in the kitchen with Mali, rather than in the dining room, when the three of them were at the large house alone. The dining room was too big for two young girls when Lorina and their father were not around. The blonde girl had finished her food almost as soon as she had been handed her fork, and the housekeeper looked upon her disapprovingly as she began cleaning up the breakfast dishes. "Slow down, dear, you're going to choke!" Alice shook her head, handing over the now empty plate with a grin. "That was delicious, thank you Mali!" The English girl called, already getting up from her seat and heading out to the main room. She was eager to start her day, and often didn't stay in one place for long.
Alice had already decided that she was going to go out into the city today, though she wasn't sure what she was going to do just yet. She ran back up the stairs to grab her small wallet and her house key, before hurrying back out the front door and down the long driveway. She reached the gate and punched in the code to open the door, careful to close it again behind her, and then made her way down the sidewalk, excited to see what Adventures awaited her. ❥ And if you go chasing rabbits // And you know you're going to fall Tell'em a hookah smoking caterpillar // Has given you the call To call Alice, when she was just small ♣

❆ • ❅ • ❆ [[ ELSA AREN ]] ❆ • ❅ • ❆ --- The cold nEvEr bothered ME anyway... ❤ Tap, tap, tap... tap, tap... Click!
Elsa put the phone to her ear, pacing the linoleum floor with her bare feet slapping soundly against it. Most would have the decency to wear socks or slippers but she couldn't help herself, she loved the feel of the cold on her skin. It was why she had bought this apartment in the first place; the entire floorspace was nothing but tile, linoleum, or stone. Hard, frigid surfaces that gave her delicious tingles up her spine every time she took off her shoes.
"Come on, Anna..." She said under her breath, listening to the line ring over and over until it finally went to voicemail, her sister's bright voice telling her that sorry, she was unavailable and to please try again or text her instead. "Of all the times I needed you not to answer, Anna!" She screamed at her phone, slamming it down on the faux marble counter of the kitchen that she had just paced herself in to.
Granted this was no life or death situation but to Elsa, most things tended to be. She was a nervous sort with claustrophobia so bad she got panic attacks if she wore fingerless gloves or shoes that covered her ankle. It was why she lived in high-heeled shoes, however unpractical they were. And sure they were killer on your feet but what outfit doesn't get jazzed up by a nice stiletto?
Groaning again, the slim blonde picked her phone up once more to check the time, seeing that it was late enough in the morning that the nearest antique shop from her apartment was open.
Elsa frequented second-hand and antique shops looking for snowglobes. It was an odd hobby, admittedly, but Los Angeles didn't get snow and the real stuff was only around a few months. This was her way of keeping it around forever. She didn't know why but she loved Winter as a whole. Freshly fallen snow was her favorite.
Walking to her living room she smiled sheepishly to herself upon seeing the shelves and shelves of nothing but snowglobes, many she'd found on her own but some Anna had given her after they had rekindled their sisterly bond. Her favorite, the very center of the mantle in the room, was one that held a rather funny-looking snowman wearing a Hawaiian button-up shirt and a straw hat. That had been the first one Anna had given her when her sister found out about her collection, and it had stayed her favorite ever since. They had jokingly named the little snowman figure Olaf, a name they used to give every snowman as children, and it warmed her heart just to watch him get dusted with the "snow" and remember those times before they had been torn apart.
Shaking her head, Elsa broke from her thoughts and padded in to her bedroom, pulling on a casual powder-blue sundress with wavy sleeves and leggings that were just a few shades darker that cut off at the knee. A quick tousle of fingers through her platinum blonde, braided hair, shoes, and her hip bag and she walked out the door to make her way by foot. Even though it was warm out, it was a lovely day and she hated to waste it by being inside too long, even in her car.

It was like his life flashed before his eyes and everything was a complete blank. Last thing he remembered was... Well... Nothing. That was just strange, even for him. Sighing heavily, he got out of his bed and got dressed. His clothes weren't even the right size for him to begin with him. Shirt was to large, his pants looked more like skinny jeans then boot cut and his shoes were worn out and falling apart. "I guess that's what I get for being so poor." He told himself. His father, Cassim could barely keep a job after his mother passed away. He couldn't go to school, because he would have to take care of his dad when he came home drunk every couple days. But Aladdin didn't really mind it. As long as he did his part, his father didn't make a fuss about it.
Brushing his hands through his messy hair, Aladdin walked down the hall to the living room. His father was passed out drunk again for the 3rd time this week. Aladdin walked over and laid the couch covering over his father. Shaking his head, he grabbed his house key and walked out of the front door. He was hungry, so he might as well get him some food. But, he had no money when he checked his wallet. "Dang it." He said out loud, shoving is his wallet back into his pocket. "Next best thing, I'm going to have to "borrow" some food, from some place." Marie walked down the street alone, coffee cup in hand. The girl held herself with a sort of dignity as she went. She had gotten up early that morning, wanting to get out the door before her brothers woke up and caused her any trouble. Due to this, she hadn't eaten any breakfast yet, and so she was currently scouring the street looking for something that sounded good. She wasn't sure what she was after yet, but she glanced over signs as she sipped her white chocolate americano. Her bag was hung loosely over one shoulder, and she kept trying to keep it from slipping off as she walked. It was rather troublesome, but Marie kept it there, not wanting to put the strap over her head -- that was too constricting.
Finally, Marie entered an area that was a small market. There were baked goods, fruits, and handmade goods that people were trying to sell. She approached one of the baked goods stands, trying to decide if any of the various breads or pastries looked good enough for breakfast. Marie tapped her chin, before finally pointing at a biscuit-looking pastry, handing the money to the vendor and taking the food in return. It was still warm, and she studied it carefully before taking a bite and continuing on through the market.

He made his way, casually over to a baked goods stand right up next to a pretty brunette looking girl eating some kind a biscuit thing. As Marie continued to munch on her biscuit, savoring the warm flaky bread, a boy around her age came up beside her, glancing around cautiously at his surroundings and the salesman, as though he were trying to make sure no one was looking. Marie pretending to be busy with her coffee and her bread, however, she watched out of the corner of her eye as the boy reached out, tucking what appeared to be a muffin under his shirt sleeve. Momentarily shocked, Marie watched slightly open-mouthed as he began to walk away. She was at a loss for how anyone could do something like that. She pursed her lips, trying to decide what she should do. Should she tell the baker? Should she go after the boy? She sighed to herself as it crossed her mind that not everyone had grown up in an aristocratic french family like herself. Perhaps he genuinely needed the food?
Making a split decision, Marie placed her coffee on the little counter and pulled out her wallet. She placed a couple of dollars on the counter while the salesman was turned around -- paying for the muffin the boy had just stole -- and then picked her coffee cup back up, deciding to follow the boy at a distance. She wanted to make sure he didn't take anything else. As hard as she tried, she just couldn't justify letting him go on without some kind of supervision. She rolled her eyes at herself as she walked on after him. "There you go again, Marie... Cleaning up other people's messes..." The girl muttered disapprovingly under her breath. It was just a lifestyle that came with having two brothers. She was constantly trying to keep them out of trouble -- especially Toulouse. location: the market|company: following a thief|ooc: sorry for the double quote, I was adding this in. lol

Marie quickly glanced both ways before hurrying across the street after the boy, following him towards the park and out of the market. She stood around a tree as he sat down on a bench, pulling out the muffin. Marie peeked around the tree, frowning as he spoke to himself, knowing that now that she had come this far, she couldn't let him go back and do it all over again. Finally, she stepped out from behind the tree to make herself known, attempting to look as intimidating as she could with her bread and her coffee and her small frame -- which wasn't very. "I don't think that's such a good idea." She said sternly, as though she were berating one of her brothers. She only barely had an accent, but it was enough to tell that she wasn't originally from LA. She stood before him, rather than sitting, as she finished the last of her bread, crumpling the paper and stuffing it into her bag. She was hoping to be able to block his way if he tried to make a run for it, but really, she knew she wouldn't be able to stop him and he probably knew it too. location: the park|company: the thief|ooc: ...

Peter left his foster home some time earlier, having no desire to be cooped up in the house on this particular day. He didn't have a car, so instead, he had hopped on a bus and headed into the city. He wasn't sure what he was going to do yet, and he had chosen not to invite the other boys along with him -- he wanted to be alone this time. After getting off the bus, Pete walked aimlessly for close to a half an hour before finally deciding there wasn't much he felt like doing after all. Instead, he crossed the street to a grassy area and stood at the base of a thick tree, hoisting himself up into it. Peter seated himself on the lowest branch, back against the trunk, and pulled his pipes out of his large coat pocket. He pretty much brought them everywhere in case of occasions such as this. Blowing a light scale on the instrument and deciding he was satisfied with the sound, Pete began to play from his place in the tree, a low, sweet sound that generally raised his spirits.

Peter continued to play the wooden pipes until he caught movement out of the corner of his eye. Rather than cutting off the sound then and there, he waited until he had finished out the song before lowering the flute from his lips and glancing down to the base of the tree. A girl sat at the bottom, reading a book and seeming to have been humming along with the music. It did make him feel slightly proud, that someone had been enjoying the sound of his pipes. Finally, he turned on the branch, letting his legs hang down over the edge and looking down at the girl below, keeping himself steady with one hand on the trunk of the tree. "What're you reading?" He called down, curiosity in his voice. He liked stories, and he wondered what the tale could be. He was really just trying to make conversation, knowing that he wouldn't be able to just ignore the presence of the brunette now that he knew she was there.
