Lucifer had hired the boy for three reasons, a favor for one of his other servers, he desperately needed a new waiter and the boy interested him. Watching him these past months had been fun. Erin was a hard working kid and he enjoyed teasing him a bit with quick words and lustful glances that would vanish when he got a second glance.

Today was busy and he was making drinks left and right. Being the owner was boring so he also bartended behind the bar. It usually got him access to watch his waiters, dancers and customers to make sure everything was running smoothly. For this moment exactly, a man walked up to Erin and pulled him closer by the hips, "Hey there sexy man. Wanna dance with me when your shift is over?" He purred and Lucifer arched a brow and just watched. He had told his waiters that if they needed help they should throw up a peace sign in the air and he would come to help.

The first man nodded his head at the last guy at their table. He walked over and completely covered Erin from Lucifers view. "Don't be so rude to us. We are just trying to show you a good time little bird." Said the first one. Lucifer glared and didn't like how it was going. They were slowly moving so that they were basically herding Erin towards the bathrooms. Excusing himself Lucifer jumped over the bar and walked over to the men.

Towering over even the tallest one he glared, "Excuse me but it seems you have one of my waiters trapped between you all. I would appreciate if you were to let him do his job." he said arching a brow and trying to get a look at Erin. All he could see was the top of the boys head and the first two men were glaring back at him, "We were just talking to him." One said and Lucifer glared more, "Should I throw you out instead?"

Lucifers eye twitched again hearing the word tab. "A tab eh?" He said and reached in between the men and pulled Erin out with ease. The men growled and tried to grab him back but Lucifer already had Erin behind his back. When one man made a grab he took the mans wrist and twisted it so he went to his knees yelping in pain. "Why don't you boys pay your tab before I bring in the cops for assault?" He said.

"Assault?! What the hell are you talking about?" One man yelled. Lucifer took the wrist he was still holding and made the man cut him on his neck and arched his brow with a wicked grin, "Assault on the owner of this bar." He said. The men looked at him scared and gave him cash before running out. Lucifer turned towards Erin then, "My office. Now." He said and started to walk to his office.

Lucifer just sighed at the boy. "I'm not going to fire you so get that out of your mind right now. I'm just going to give you a little speech I give all the young waiters here." He said and leaned against his desk folding his arms, "Boys like you get a lot of attention. And its not always the good kind. I don't care how much pride you have, if a man is three times large than you signal for help."

"Its not like we are going make fun of you here. Everyone dose it. If I hadn't have been watching those men would have had you in the bathroom right now doing..." He stopped and held the bridge of his nose. "Never mind... just... be more careful and the tab business. Take their card and hold it if they are on a tab. It keeps them from skipping out." He said then waved his hand, "Go ahead and get back to work."

The men had waited outside for Erin to be alone. Seeing him walk down the street two of them grabbed Erin's arms pulling him into the alleyway next to the bar. "There you are little bird. We were getting cold. How could you leave us waiting like this." One man said as his friends held Erin's arms tightly. The one man got closer to Erin moving his hands to the boys waist and going up into his shirt.

There was a faint noise that sounded like a growl and a shadow passed over the lights. It looked like wings only for a flash of a second before Lucifer was behind the man touching Erin, "I thought I told you all to leave?" He said grabbing the mans head and tossing him aside. Lucifer kicked the second man away and made a move at the third and he let go of Erin. Lucifer looked at the boy and moved his head, "Lets go. I'll walk you home." He said huffing at the men.

Lucifer pulled out a cigarette as they walked and lit it up. Blowing out some smoke he looked at the sky, "I kind of expected them to do it. I didn't want to panic you and I thought I would be out here before they could grab you." He said, "For that I'm sorry." He said and with his free hand he rubbed the boys hair messing it up. If he could get his mind off the men then the boy should be ok.

"What you keep looking at the sky for? There a star you look towards." He asked bending down a bit as they walked to look up at Erin's level. "I don't see nothing up there." He said teasing him.

Lucifer arched his brow at the wings comment and let the boy brush it off. When they got to his house he waved at him, "Don't worry. They won't be coming back." he said and blew out some smoke before making sure no one was around. He then spread his wings and flew after the men who had attacked Erin. Landing he flicked the cigarette down. "I gave you a warning to leave my waiters be and you attacked him outside. Your going to pay for that." He said walking towards the scared men.

The next morning in the newspaper a story was printed how three men were found in the snow having gone insane. They had been found crying and whispering the devils name and were taken to an asylum to be treated. Lucifer was sitting in the club smoking and going over the books in his office not interested in the news.
