Tias hadn’t been back in Tale but a couple of days and already he was being subjected to his father’s whims which mostly included checking on a former patient and getting a couple supplies that were relatively local. Majority of the time Tias was free to do virtually anything he wanted but as of late his father had needed to stock up on supplies and with a seemingly endless line of patients Tias was sent in his place. Tias certainly did not mind helping his father out when needed but the boy was completely clueless on the vast majority of the items. He just didn’t have an interest or passion for the healing properties of certain plants, what each one looked like, etc.

Luckily for Tias the town was just a day’s trip away and wouldn’t require him to commit an extended length of time to it. Admittedly, Tias was not a traveler. Or at least one who reveled in the travel itself, however, when he arrived at his destination? He was certainly excited to explore a little. Traveling was something that brought him no pleasure but when necessary he did it. Would he likely stay in Tale forever as a result? Probably but it was too soon to tell what the future held. Tias wouldn’t move unless he had a reason to though.

By the time Tias arrived in the town it was early morning—so early that most of the shops were still trying to get set up for the days shoppers. While he was a little tired—and kind of grumpy—Tias decided to just stay up for a few more hours before calling it a day with the hopes that he could get what he needed as soon as possible and head home. His bed was fairly comfortable and he never felt at home in an inn nor sleeping on the ground. ”It’s too early to buy anything.” Tias spoke gruffly as he noticed the store he needed still wasn’t open nor did it appear as though it would open within the immediate future. Well, what was he going to do now?

Normally Syqvara wasn't a morning person. At all. She enjoyed sleeping in. Unfortunately, since she had been putting off returning home out of misplaced worry, her Scorra was getting agitated. He wanted to go home. So he took to picking on the young Kinfa that the two had saved and adopted. This caused a disturbance that woke her up frequently. Today was no exception. "No, stop that Elyam!" The red head called after the large bird.

The blue baby Kinfa squaked and flapped its wings but was unable to fly away so it tore through the street in a flurry of feathers. Elyam gave chase and right behind him, holding onto her staff, was Sy. "Drent! Come here!" Huffing as she ran to keep up, Syqvara watched as her birds knocked things over and made people have to jump out of the way. "Sorry!" Had the the time the young spirit worker would have stopped to help clean up but as it was she was more concerned for the way her familiars were fighting.

Then suddenly! "Oof!" Syqvara had an undeniable knack for running into people. This time she'd run into some boy, Tiassale. When she fell to the ground she let out a small groan. "Ouch.."

Tiassale had been looking off towards his right, where a pair of birds had run off to and as he turned back around something hit into him—hard. The boy fell with an "oof that was much softer than the woman’s. While the woman groaned Tias tried to get back the small amount of air that had been knocked out of him in the attack. Once he got his barring, Tias lifted his head and looked at the woman with red hair that had landed on him. Don’t you watch where you’re going? He asked, his eyebrows drawn together as he frowned.

What was his luck? The day had only just begun and already he was being knocked over by random people for no reason. Of course he wondered if she was okay, but why was she running around in the first place? You’re okay? Tias asked, his same facial expression in place. It wasn’t often he got knocked into by strange women but apparently it was only when two birds were running for their lives. Were you chasing after those two birds? He finally got around to asking.

Well it wasn't the ground that she had landed on. What she landed on was softer and had an attitude. Syqvara blushed as she heard the words. "Don't you watch where you're going?" Of course she did. Just sometimes she didn't react as quickly as she should. Not wanting to quite meet the boy's eyes she turned her head away as she mumbled a yes before going wide eyed and wiggling to get up. "Sorry." There it was again. That magic word that she always seemed to be saying to someone. Confidence wasn't her strong suit.

In her attempts to get up she discovered that her ankle hurt. "Autch.." Sy made a noise rather than a word when her nerves yelled at her with pain. Moving one hand to her leg she rubbed gently trying to see if it was broken or simply the muscle. Tears had sprang to her eyes in the meantime but she nodded her head to answer the are you okay question. "I-I'm fine.. sorry." More questions had her face turning a brighter red and ducking her head as if to avoid the question. Still having not brought her eyes to meet his she gave another nod. "Th-they are my familiars." Which usually meant they shouldn't be running from her.
