The Grand Fesitval and Tournament! Plot: It's fall and the town of Lavaridge teamed up with other towns to throw a grand festival in and just outside of its town! There will be a carnival, events like scavenger games, and of course Pokemon battles including a special tournament and even a special event Pokemon contest for those who like contests. The hot springs are open to all and there will be plenty of vendors selling their goods and food. It's a time of celebration and everyone from every region is invited! Including possibly those who wish to crash the party and cause trouble. Come join! Rules:1. Follow all Gaia rules and guild rules 2. Romance and fighting are allowed just keep it PG-13 3. Legendaries are ok to have but are not allowed in the tournament due to legendary rules. 4. No god-modding, I'm thinking of doing a dice system or random number for battles perhaps to make fights easier and no one is super op. 5. Every pokemon in the pokedex is allowed since trainers from all different regions are coming to the festival. ^_^ 6. Please be literate. No one-liners or * for actions. At least a paragraph as it is easier to respond to. 7. I may make NPCs for the tournament perhaps or something. I may need help setting it up. ^^; 8. Post your profiles in the profile thread or send them to me via pm. 9. Any questions, concerns, etc, feel free to PM me. Also feel free to post plot ideas in the OOC thread or pm me about it. =D 10. Have fun! Play a trainer or contest goer, or even a villain! Or a pokemon! All are accepted. =D

I'm very interested. I had the intent of using an OC of mine who had captured an Articuno [more befriended her at first, then caught her], though he wouldn't use her in battle due to her Legendary status.

I had the intent of using an OC of mine who had captured an Articuno [more befriended her at first, then caught her], though he wouldn't use her in battle due to her Legendary status. I would actually be ok with that as that sounds interesting. =D If you join maybe more people will join, or it would be just the two of us. xD

I've decided on a solid answer right from the start.

Pokemon: Peeps (Altaria), Pippin (Piplup), Boo (Pumpkaboo), Squeakers (Dedenne), Batniss (Noibat), Momo (Sylveon)
OOC: Intro post for Sakaki! Entering the town of Lavaridge with a smile on her face and a skip to her step was a girl with long black hair and dark blue eyes wearing a red beret and red and brown clothing. In her arms was a Sylveon glancing about at the festival scenery and on her head was a humming Altaria. "Wow, look at all the stands Peeps and Momo! I can't wait to try out all the delicious food! Then maybe we'll play a few carnival games and go to the hot springs!" the girl exclaimed happily as she approached a booth for renting yukatas and kimonos for those who wanted to join in the fesitivities. The girl picked out a dark blue kimono with twinkling little stars and flowers all over, stashing her clothes in a provided locker. "Come on, let's have some fun!" the girl said to her Pokemon and brought out all six of them to play. I'm up all night, sighing and drumming my fingers.

♠Bà oshà Alexis Tsukino ♠A soft sigh escaped the rider of the Articuno close to four hundred feet off the ground several minutes from Lavaridge Town. His black hood hid all but his nose and his mouth, while his bronze skin made him appear as one from the Orange Islands or one of the beaches in the Kalos region, the latter of which he'd never been to. He'd gone as far as Sinnoh and had just over forty badges to his name. He'd visited all twenty seven gyms in the Kanto region, even the very obscure ones, and beaten their Gym Leaders, and had done the same with the four in the Orange Islands, as well as the dozen in the Johto region for a total of 42 badges, though he had heard there were several he hadn't visited there yet. Articuno wore a deep emerald vest that snugged over her wings, but did not hamper her flight in the least even though it was quite heavily weighted at close to 260 pounds. He smirked, as he knew his Pokémon were very, very strong and skilled, since he trained as hard as they did and made sure they knew it. He had trained them to be highly observant and knew how to bring out strengths even they themselves didn't expect. He had also discovered something very intriguing... though it had been completely by accident when his Charizard had been a Charmeleon. He had discovered that if a Fire type like Charmeleon 'drew in' its flame into the core of its being, it actually halted the most obvious weakness... it's tail flame. Of course, it did have a side effect of making Charizard's lower abdomen glow brightly, but it did allow Charizard to enjoy something that most of his species feared... swimming.
He tapped Articuno's side as she dipped in a shallow dive, signaling for her to turn before he pushed off just ten feet off the ground and barely had to steady himself as he landed lightly on the ground and kept striding casually as Articuno glided above him before she landed several yards in front of him, on the edge of the town. "Good girl, Arti. You're just as fast as you were when I initially found you on Aisushima, but when we take that vest off, imagine how fast you'll be... you'll probably be fast enough to put that smoldering bird out by speed alone," he said softly as he patted her feathers near her beak, eliciting a soft, musical trill. He knew she didn't like Moltres much, but he had helped her after a rough battle between herself, Moltres and Zapdos, though he had wisely not confronted the other two legendary birds. It was not immediately apparent, but Articuno was almost as fast on the ground as she was in the air. "Let's have some fun," he said idly as he flicked his wrist, lobbing his Pokéballs out into the air and releasing the rest of his team. He wasn't surprised when Glaceon almost immediately leaped into his arms, while Pikachu leaped onto his shoulder. Of course, his outfit under his jacket wasn't immediately apparent. Current Team

A young boy with short white hair dashed through the entrance with a Riolu and five pokeballs at his waist. He was humming a quick little tune, but was interrupted when his pokemon tugged onto his sleeve.
"Yes, yes, I know Meroncina. We are here to battle and help, as well as spy." The boy's voice was not high pitched, but not low. It was average and steady. The Riolu grunted it's reply, and began to run off in a direction, causing the boy to follow the small black and blue pokemon. Near a fountain. How typical. The boy sighed as the Riolu tugged onto the pokeballs around his belt. He quickly let out the rest of his pokemon. A Riolu, Meowsticks, Leafeon, Beedrill, Cinchinno, and a Luxio came out. Mikuri smiled a strange little smile. "You all ready...for a change?" He asked the pokemon chimed their responses except for the Meowsticks. The blue and white little pokemon ran off. Iloi ran off into another area, completely ignoring the fact that he was separated from his little group. He was too busy trying to meet everyone, and investigating everything. After all, Mikuri did say to keep an eye out. Plus, he could smell petcha berries. The Meowsticks saw petcha berries at a stand, and went to get one, but was quickly frightened due to almost being run over by a bike, which should have not been allowed. The blue little pokemon squealed in fear and ran to the west of the festival now completely lost. The pokemon began to wail softly, as if it was crying. sad

OOC: Sakaki had gotten herself a cotton candy and her Pokemon some poffins, exploring the festival when she thought she heard something crying. As quick as she could on her wooden sandals, she ran towards the noise and stumbled upon a crying Meowstick. Squatting down she looked upon the little guy with a concerned look. "Hey little guy, are you ok? Don't be afraid." she said to it softly, her Pokemon Peeps and Squeakers by her side. Her other Pokemon were scattered around the festival, told they could explore as long as they all met up near the hotsprings at some point. Momo the Slyveon was looking at the goldfish game when someone walking by with multiple Pokemon around them caught her eye. Specifically it was the Glaceon and Momo mewed happily, excited to see another of its kind, or at least another evolution of its previous form. She hopped over and stared up at the trainer with a smile, her ribbons waving about. I'm up all night, sighing and drumming my fingers.

Arashi blinked, cocking his head as he'd changed into the outfit underneath his clothes, but had left the jacket on and the hood down. He had pulled his hair through a hole in the back of the thinner hood, letting it spill freely down his back. "Hey there. I can tell whoever trains you takes very good care of you," he said softly as he knelt knowing the jeweled zipper that went over the top of his head let its ruby fall almost directly in the center of his forehead. He glanced around, not very surprised as Glaceon cocked her head with interest before she hopped out of his arms, somersaulting before landing lightly next to the Sylveon. "The only one on my team you'd have a type disadvantage against would be Roselia, as Poison type attacks would do more damage, between half again and double, depending on the force, but we aren't here to battle, are we?" he said softly, scratching the Sylveon behind the ears. He noticed a pouch hanging from its neck and subtly slipped a pair of small discs marked TM19 and TM32 into the pouch; he suspected her trainer would like the gift. Current Team
Glaceon, Haunter, Pikachu, Charizard, Roselia, Articuno OOC-- TM32 {Double Team} can be used by Piplup, Noibat, Dedenne, Pumpkabo, and Sylveon, while TM19 {Roost} can only be used by Altaria.

Iloi stared up at Sakaki. She was nice enough to comfort him, and to even notice him-! That was really appreciated! Iloi purred in response to the touch of his soft blue fur. Iloi took a breath, and attempted speaking human, but for pokemon, as we all know, is much harder, so it sounded like a bunch of rapid rubbish. Iloi sighed. 'I thought this would be easier, but these humans, have a tough language! Even Mikuri, must've had a hard time learning this!' Iloi pouted a bit in annoyance. These humans and their language, was hard. He then sniffed Sakaki's hand, and butted it gently with his soft head. He wondered if she would follow.
Jubalee bounced around sniffing the ground constantly. Where could've Iloi have gone? She began to worry about him knowing that he could be in every type of trouble right now. Jubalee walked to the side to take a break, her leafy ears twitching. The Leafeon kicked a pebble. This, was no easy task, even if she had tracked him down before; there was far too many smells and sights for her to tell. Plus she felt dizzy with all the people around. The Leafeon sat down watching everything for a few minutes. She shook her head and growled lowly as she jumped off again. Now this was getting really annoying to her. 'Why? Just why out of all times?'
Mikuri ran through the festival with Meroncina, staying close to the other four. Jubalee should've been alright with her amazing sense of smell, plus, with Tilly, Tilly would be able to look for Iloi and Jubalee at the same time, but he had Tilly close by because many looked frightened of him.

OOC: Momo blinked and smiled as the boy who owned the Glaceon slipped some discs in a pouch she had. The pouch was for if Momo found anything at the festival for Pokemon that she wanted, in fact Sakaki gave a pouch to all her Pokemon. Pippin came waddling up to his fellow companion, piping up curiously about the contents in the Sylveon's bag. Momo turned back to the trainer before thanking him by bowing and scampered off to find Sakaki again along with the little penguin. Meanwhile Boo, a little Pumpkaboo, was wandering with a lollipop in its mouth when it saw a frustrated Leafeon and floated near it. He blinked curiously, wondering what was wrong. He took out the lollipop and held it telekinectically nearby as it called out, "Boo?"Sakaki smiled as the adorable Meowstick tried to speak to her and even purred to her touch. "So cute." she squealed softly then looked a little confused when it butted her hand. "Oh, you want me to follow you? Lead the way then!" she replied with a giggle. I'm up all night, sighing and drumming my fingers.
