The sun was high in the sky, a gentle breeze blowing in from the south, bringing just a hint of warmth to the cozy little place they called a home. All seemed right within the world. Well, all right to everyone but one strange little teen. Or what she assumed to be her teenage seasons.
Siofra huffed, trying to find everything to make it perfect. She wanted to spend a day with the best sister in the world! But she couldn't find Mom's basket to stick things in. With her luck, it was hiding somewhere the smol one couldn't make it. Something had been bugging Siofra and she couldn't figure out what on earth the answer could possibly be. It was on her list of things to do with Soliel today. And maybe Cressida, but that would be if they could ever find their elder sister.
"Soooolllll~" she called, giving up on the basket. They could figure something else out later. Maybe just come back and pester Mom into making them something to eat. She was still trying to make up for everything she didn't eat during that really long nap. "Where are youuuu?" She laughed, flittering about trying to spot her much taller sister.

The afternoon sun would find the demon making her way back to their warm home. On her hip was her mothers basket, filled with fresh picked herbs and wild edible leaves for cooking later. It was the last of her chores for the day, and she was eager to set it down to enjoy some free time. Maybe Cressida, Jollibee or Siofra was free too? But her elder sister was always up to something, and Jollibee was sometimes...difficult...to handle when she got into a mood. Never did grow out of acting like a Princess.
With a few powerful beats of her wings up to their home, a smile grew on her face. She knew who that voice was! Soliel bounded inside holding the basket up on her head like a hat "Did someone ring for Sol?"
Siofra grinned, of course her big sister would hear her. Smol teen, large set of lungs. Or a physic sister. Really good timing really. "There you are!" She squeaked, rushing over to wrap herself into Sol's arms. Only so much a small teen could do.
"Your hat! It's absolutely fragrant!" And was the exact basket she was looking for! Soliel must have been out doing chores or something. Maybe she was with someone handsome~ "Does your boyfriend like it?" Siofra teased.

With a set of lungs like Siofra had, she spotted her sibling as she rushed over. She extended an arm to wrap around her int a big hug. In comparison with herself even as a teen, the butterfly winged faun was still way smaller. But Soliel never once thought she was strange or weird. She was her sister, and that was that. "I thought I'd spice up my attire!" The demon laughed warmly at her own joke before shaking her head. "Ugh, I think Dad's bad puns have rubbed off on me."
At the second part, her blue eyes went wide as she blushed. "He's not my boyfriend! I don't like him like that, silly!" Of course she had gushed to her sibling as soon as she got back from meeting Remy. He was so cute, and sweet, and nice, and...
...so not her boyfriend. He was a boy. Who was her friend. "And you know I haven't seen him in weeks. But...if you keep a secret..." The demon let go of the hug to bend down so she could whisper. "I was thinking maybe of trying to see him again soon." She had really blossomed since their meeting, getting curvier and hitting a growth spurt. But internally she still felt the same ol' same ol Soliel.
Siofra laughed, carefully squirming out of Sol's hug. Her wings were still delicate and hurt a lot when tweaked the wrong way. "You're turning into Daaaaaad~" the small one teased again. She was still smiling, only meaning it half heartedly. Dad's bad puns were one of her favorite things. Really, one of the few things she dreamt about while she was hanging from the ceiling...
"Suuuure you don't. His ears looked so soft, his tail was sooooo fluffy" Siofra made a sappy face, an exaggerated version of Mom's when she was watching Dad do something she thought was super super sweet. "He even sounds as handsome as he is dreamy!" She was jealous. Of course she was jealous. Her big sister, who was way bigger than she was, could find someone, and she couldn't even figure out where the heck the one guy she met that looked like her was!
"Oh come on Sol, Mom doesn't even know you -like- boys yet." It was like the best thing about having a sister. Someone you could talk to about anything and your parents would never find out! "Oh my Guardians! Do you know where he lives? Are you going to take him more sugared fruit? Ooooh, what if something more happens?" The strange looking teen did her best to keep her voice down, bouncing with excitement.

"That's a fate worse than death!" She dramatically replied, her free hand going to her forehead. All in good fun of course, as she couldn't think of a better dad ever in the history of dads.
Her face quickly turned bright red. His tail WAS so fluffy! But hearing her old words turned back on her from Siofra was so embarrassing! "He is pretty cute." She admitted aloud finally. To anyone else she'd be as stubborn as Cressida with talking about Remy, but Siofra was like...her rock. Her twin even if they weren't actually twins. They were essentially born together, grew up together, and shared everything. "As a matter of fact, I do know where he lives. He's not all that far from here. And uh, I don't know. I don't want him to think I like him like that! And nothing more is gonna happen!" She answered in rapid fire back at the gushing of questions, still beat red from earlier. After thinking of 'something more happening' how could she possibly stop blushing? "What do you think?" The added bonus of Siofra being her partner to the end, she could always go to her for advice.
"Oh woe is you!" She mimicked the motion, adding in a faux fall. Of course she wasn't serious, they had the best dad ever.
"Cute and you know where he lives. Sounds like a win win to me~" She grinned, a big goofy one reflecting how she felt about her other half finding a really cute boy. Siofra may have been the strangest looking pae in her family, by her own thoughts, but she by far felt Soliel was an extension of herself. She had the best sister in the world!
"I think he'll kiss you if you bring him more candied fruit." She nodded, thinking it was the epitome of romantic. Okay, maybe the second most romantic thing. Their parents were pretty romantic when they thought no one was around. One of the benefits of her being so small, she got to see a lot. "Maybe you'll even get to touch his ears~"

She felt so girly, blushing and getting all nervous over some boy. Was this what it was like to grow up? Oh how long ago it seemed when she played with little dolls and thought mud pies were fun. "What about that guy you met? The one who looks like you?" She deflected the attention from herself onto her sister.
The thought of touching Remy's ears! It was more than thinking about touching his tail. And kissing him - no no no! She couldn't even begin to contemplate that. Way too embarrassing. That would be her first kiss after all, and she had to be certain she gave it to the right pae.
Siofra blushed, of course Soliel would turn this around to her and Elias. That's what she got for teasing Sol about Remy. "I dunno... I'm not really even sure where he lives..." She admitted, completely embarrassed. At least her sister knew where the guy she liked lived. Siofra was kind of left hanging.
"Maybe I'll see him again, maybe I won't. As far asI know, we're the only two like us on the entire island. It's a big island though, might be a pretty lady out there like me too~" Siofra blushed again, admitting something she thought was huge to Sol. At least, she was certain Soliel wouldn't judge her for liking women too.

AHA! Gotcha sis! Soliel thought to herself almost smugly. That's what her sister got for teasing her. See how she liked it. "I'm sure you'll see him again! Maybe you just need to go back to the clearing, and he'd somehow would go there too?" She encouraged before the demon caught what her butterfly winged sibling was saying.
She froze, blinked, and then scooped Siofra up in a big hug. Careful of course of the delicate wings. "You bet there is! Just make sure you bring him, or her around before you get too serious so I can approve of them." She spoke with a bit of a laugh, happy that Siofra confided in her. She simply adored her sibling.
Siofra fidgeted, not able to look Soliel in the eye until her thoughts caught up with what she had just said. It wasn't until Sol squished her into a huge hug that Siofra stopped, squeaking and returning the hug. "Of course I'll bring them home! Why on the isle would I want to date someone if I didn't have your approval?" She rolled her eyes. No way was she going to try and date someone if her other half didn't approve. Forget what their parents thought, Sol's opinion on it was everything.
"Guess it was kinda silly for me to be nervous wasn't it?" She asked, still blushing. How on the isle was she going to get over how ridiculous that had been?

After a quick little spin she let her sibling down. Siofra was so small it was easy to lift her up, something Soliel exploited often in the form of spinning hugs. "Maybe your way of teenage rebellion?" She joked lightly, smirking still. And should she get to the point of dating somepae, Siofra would be the first to meet them.
"Extremely silly. Just think of Kiki and Uncle Siggy! No matter who you love, you'll always be my sister." A little sappy, but the situation did call for at least a moment of seriousness, so that Siofra would know that she did consider this important.
Siofra squeaked, adjusting her little wings when she was set back down. Okay, only long enough to use them to situate herself right next to Soliel. "If I'm rebelling by not bringing home someone for you to approve, how did you rebel? Is it because I haven't gotten to meet your boy yet?" She teased, grinning.
Siofra blushed, fidgeting again. "Thanks Sol." Jade eyes looked down at her lap, pausing for a moment before looking up again. "Are you going to have Remy come home to meet Mom and Dad?" Anything to get the subject off her. She was still chewing on something, but Soliel didn't need to stress about it right then.

Well that was a thought, did she ever really rebel? She was a pretty good teenager. "Nah, I rebelled by sneaking out at night with you catching fireflies." She spoke with a snicker. Oh so bad! Breaking curfew.
Then the spotlight came back onto her, and Remy. Her smile turned embarrassed, a hand reaching up to play with a red strand of hair. "Well, I wanted to. I invited him to dinner. But he shot that idea down." She didn't imagine on purpose. More so him making a point of not needing to bribe him with food. But after that she didn't want to push him coming over.
"Pfffft. That's hardly a rebelling teen." She laughed, grinning. Neither of them were particularly good at getting in trouble and they both knew it.
Siofra nodded only for her face to fall. He didn't want to come to dinner to meet the family? "How could he not want to meet our family? Not only are we the coolest family ever, but you're here too! There's no way you like him that much without him liking you too!" Siofra was outraged. How could he turn down an invitation to a dinner? What was wrong with this Remy guy anyways?
