The heavy old bells rung outside of the theatre as a mysterious figure with their hands inside their pockets made their way across the slushy street of old Gotham. Traffic rushed back and forth as the door man at the entrance of the theatre examined the area. There was a police cruiser parked a couple yards away from the entrance. In the car were two cops keeping themselves busy with their mundane conversations and their bragging about how they helped Batman capture some of the psychos of the city. Loud slushy foot steps made its way towards the door man and just before he was able to get a good look at the mysterious person, a bright purple light flashed him and a gloved fist immediately darted across his face right after, instantly knocking him out. The mysterious man grabbed the victim by his suit before it can come into contact with the floor and alerting the cops of the situation. The suspect's outfit completely changed into the door man's suit and his face turned into the victims face. He shapeshifted after capturing a shot of the victim's appearance like a camera. Thespian, now taking on the persona of the door man, launched the victim over his shoulders and quickly walked into the alley way in which the well-known Thomas and Martha Wayne were shot in cold blood. Once he was able to close to a dumpster, he opened the lid up and threw the victim inside.

"Nothing personal." Whispered the mysterious lad before closing the lid.

The cops that were in the cruiser turned to face the entrance of the theatre, noticing that the door man wasn't there. "You think we should go check it out?" asked the passenger. "Hmm, yeah. You can't really get too comfortable in this city." Once the driver was about to pull the door lever of the car the door man appeared. "Hey! is everything ok?" shouted the passenger cop. Immediately Thespian drew his attention towards them, "Uh yeah, I just had to take care of some business." Both cops stood quiet before whispering to one another, "Why didn't he just go inside?" asked the passenger. "Maybe he just had to go." They both looked back at Thespian, "Alright sir, just looking out for yah thats all." Thespian replied, "You guys are the best." The officers tipped their hats and once they were no longer looking, Thespian rushed inside the theatre and tried to blend in as much as he can by nodding and smiling to the folks passing by him. He walked near the stair way that had a stanchion in the way with a VIP sign wrapped around it. Thespian simply looked around and once no one was looking he such through.

Inside the theatre room...

People were clapping; full of joy and happiness as friends and families and even co-workers or strangers enjoyed the wonderful musical of The Last Flamingo. The set was beautifully crafted and the amazing lighting turned the whole place into another world. It was beautiful, Thespian loved it. It brought him back to the days when he was a young actor himself. Making the audience laugh, cry, sit on the edge of the seat. It was truly, "Magical" he muttered to himself. A lady was getting up from her seat, leaving her date behind to use the restroom when she bumped into Thespian. "Oh!, I'm sorry sir I didn't see you coming up." Thespian took a good look at her and smiled, "No worries my lady, It was my fault, I shouldn't really be here." Her friendly face expression became puzzled before a bright purple light flashed. A couple minutes later the lady came back to her seat, next to her date Christian Lawson a musical director. "Glad to see you back." Whispered Mr. Lawson as he went to plant a kiss on her cheek. But before he could, a knife was pressed against his shaved neck. He gave out a quick gasp as his eyes shook with fear.

Thespian than revealed himself,
"Hello Christian, I am glad you are doing well. It seems you're still living the dream. You have your life wrapped up like a christmas present. You have yourself a beautiful home, a great job, a lovely date. Everything is nice a peachy I see. It so sad that not many people who were once under your wings can live as good as you. Some didn't have enough talent, others got sick and some maybe even went a little insane."

"Who-who the hell are you? what do you want??" Lawson asked with such fear.

"I am many, but I am no one. Thanks to you this is who I am now. I'll be sure to send some of your friends to where you're going next."

"No no!" he cried before Thespian slit his throat and launched his body over the balcony.

He couldn't leave Gotham unattended without someone wanting to make a scene, to gain attention and spark fear into the masses. An unpleasant extended stay in Star City prompted him to come back in light of the event, a whole day after it took place. According to G.C.P.D. records of the incident, it caused quite the uproar. Seemingly almost no witness but the victim's girlfriend, though she didn't provide enough to go on. She seemed somewhat confused on who it might be, but was set on the fact that she saw someone else up there before it happened. She saw him earlier, much later before the show. The doorman was a prime suspect that he would look into, the woman was next. Two policemen were posted up outside, responding to a disturbance they noticed at the front of the theatre. He got them to leave. He made sure they wouldn't play into the equation or get suspicious of his whereabouts. Batman circled the scene, using certain critical thinking methods to sum up the situation and come to a conclusion. He went through the basics: why was Christian Lawson the target? The methods were purposely messy, what he wanted to know was why? Why would a doorman go after a musical director? Further more, could it have been the significant other to Christian, in which the slight cover-up could be used to mask her true intentions?

His eyes looked upon the room, whether in here or outside, this place was almost the embodiment of tragedy. He walked through the rows of seats, coming across a set all too familiar. Only a few decades ago three members of the Wayne family sat in these seats, several minutes later only one of them was left alive. Annually he would come to the alleyway, say a few words, and that would be that until the next year. The crime scene left little to no evidence after the police came in inspecting every inch of it. Samples of anything and everything he could find were packed into the utility for later examination.

His investigation lead him out into the infamous alley. Dark as usual, dead flower petals either remained pressed into the ground or were blown by the wind, laying with bags of trash and trash left thrown around by others. He did his best to not pay attention to the specific spot of two certain individuals to instead direct his attention to the situation at hand. Every place around and about, top to bottom was up for search, at least by him. There were some things the G.C.P.D. wouldn't do, certain lengths Batman had to go to get things done. The eyes of the cowl flashed a bright white activating his sensor mode. It scanned things on a below average X-Ray like scale. He could read heart beats, scan for bodies, etc. Only the essentials.

Gotham had it's fair share of the homeless community, they found homes wherever they felt the safest. The dumpster seemed to be that new safe place. He lifted the lid, letting it rest on the wall while he examined the contents, searching for the body it picked up on. Trash bags were thrown out to help better the search as a whole. Seconds later the individual was found, dead? Hard to tell. "Alfred, I'm sending you an image of a person I need identification on." The cowl took a high resolution image, sending it through to the Batcave where Alfred would be overseeing the situation and providing help.

"Here we are..Sonny Adams. Thirty-six and employed as..a doorman for the theatre, why hide away in a dumpster so close to the vicinity?" Something wasn't adding up, he didn't bother with the body just yet to confirm anything. "He's becoming less and less of the assailant as this goes on. I'll let Gordon know about him once I'm done." Batman returned to the dumpster, leaning in a bit to examine Sonny. "Obvious force put upon the side of his face. He clearly had an altercation. The woman described the situation as quick, Christian didn't have a chance when the knife reached his neck."

"So you think this might have happened after he fled the scene?"

"No, Sonny has been here the whole time.." He put a marker like device, shaped like a bat up against the dumpsters service. Upon activation it glowed a very faint blue. The device was connected to a personal 'hot-line' between the G.C.P.D. that acted as a GPS signal of his location. They'd surely find him.

Thespian rinsed off the blood on the knife that was used to kill Christian Lawson with warm water off the faucet in a bathroom to then use it as a razor to shave his own face; a face he doesn't have a name for. He had gotten so lost in the roles he has played in the past and the people he had shifted into, that his mind had forgotten who he was. He only gets fragments of himself as a kid playing in a park, hearing laughter and the sound of rusty swings swaying back and forth. But the memories were so confusing and so sudden that he shook his head and accidentally cut himself. "AUGH!" a drop of blood slid down into the sink before being forced down into the pipe lines by the running water. Thespian began to breath heavily before looking at himself in the mirror and stabbing his own reflection in the face. He turned off the faucet, dried his face and slipped on the mask. As he twisted his mask on left and right, it began to change faces as if he was deciding who to shift into. There were many faces of many races and color. But it stopped at an old bearded man while his whole attire changed and even his voice as well. Stepping out of the bathroom, he was welcomed by the smell of liquor and cigarettes, and by the yelling and laughters of drunks and idiots in the bar. Thespian simply dug his hands in his pockets and moved it along, trying to stay to himself as he made his way to the exit door and out into the stormy night that Gotham never hesitated to provide.

With the G.C.P.D. having collected a majority of the detectable evidence, it forced Bruce to get down and dirty trying to find things that weren't visible to the eyes of those who knew not of what they were looking for. He began to analyze each piece of evidence, beginning to make a chart of his own in chronological events, although what he was expecting was a timeline like formation. He traced his finger over the monitor in a circle, certain things weren't adding up as it all kept coming back to a source. There was a bit of confusion around the time that Christian was murdered, by whom it was unclear as the woman with him was in distress and put in an immediate panicked state.

Bruce sipped out a small white mug filled with a bright green tea. He had to soothe his mind working with something like this, something with no real definite answer, at least not yet. He placed the cup down on the table next to him looking back at the monitor. If he wasn't distracted with all the business in Star City, he would have been here to get the important information, and maybe could have even confronted who did this. That's what made him wonder the most and aggravated him, he couldn't place any key suspects, he really didn't know who he was looking for.
