 Caiden liked Busthind mountain, for the most part. It had his dad, CamoDad, it had lots of rocks, which are great and all, and it had some deadly beasts, who don't like to play as much as Caiden wish they did, but were still fine and dandy. What Caiden really wished the mountain had more of was ponds. Places Caiden could find a nice duck-beast, or croak with the toad-beasts. Well, just because there were none here did not mean Caiden was going to miss out. He would just have to make his own pond! Add his own duck-beasts and toad-beasts to it. It would be great! With this all in mind, Caiden set out one day after his enjoyable lessons with CamoDad to make himself a pond. He had plenty of blue paint, for water, and some other colors for the various friend-beasts the brownblood was sure to "meet." Caiden found a spot, he didn't really notice if it was anybody's yards or not, but it was a good spot. Perfect for a pond. Caiden pored out some blue paint for his pond and started making a toad-beast to live in that pond. Yep. This was going to be great.

The night had begun peacefully and Amonee nibbled on a cinnamon roll he'd bought yesterday. It got hard to eat all of these since he tended to stock up a lot at a time and then rush to eat them all before the food expired but he supposed there were other trolls with worse problems. Unicroak hopped after him towards the door as they headed out on another adventure. Amonee didn't have much planned for the night other than seeing where his feet took him!
Which was apparently the bottom of a paint bucket.
"W-wait, what are you doing?" A tough looking kid was pouring paint all over the place and making a huge mess. Amonee was normally all for artist expression but not outside his front door! That was his canvas, right? Grabbing Caiden by the shoulder, he tried to get his attention with a worried pout.
"You're spilling paint everywhere- You've got to try to be more careful!" The jadeblood's face was highly concerned, thinking Caiden was accidentally pouring the paint rather than on purpose. He reached and firmly put the bucket (and what little was left in it) on the ground.
"Oh shoot... I couldn't save much of it for you..." He bit his lip at the sad sight of wasted paint seeping into the ground and the cracks in the rocky trail. This other troll likely could've put the paint to good use making a mural or something but now it was draining into the mountain.
"Well, I'm Amonee Brycer and this is my hive. Sorry I didn't help you sooner. If you'd like, I have more paint inside." The idea that the paint was actually meant to be used as water didn't seem to be sinking int.Micillia I fell behind but pushed myself to get a post out for you! Sorry for the delay ; A;

Caiden was surprised. He was told trolls lived out here, but this was the first time he had actually seen one that lived here. "Hive? You LIVE out here?!" He had assumed he lived out here all by himself. Forever alone with only his paintings and CamoDad for company. Sure, sometimes there was a troll that hiked past, or some adventurer, but they were all visitors. This was a troll that actually lived near Caiden. The brownblood wasn't all alone in the mountains. There was such a thing as a neighbor. "WOOOOOAH! You live near ME!! We are NEIGHBORS!!" Caiden jumped up and down excitedly, flailing his brush around, splattering more paint of various colors all around. And then the rest of what Caiden's new neighbor best friend troll said sunk in. There was a moment of silence while Caiden registered it, then it all came out. "And you have paint?! Do you like to paint? Are you going to help me make a pond? See im painting a pond here! What do you like to paint? Can you show me what you do? Whats your favorite color? Your my best friend neighbor now right? Want to go to best friend neighbor things?"yamashii Sorry im such a slow-butt Yama T.T

He'd finally found one, a troll that could talk faster than himself! Amonee flushed in confusion as he was overwhelmed by all of Caiden's questions. It was pleasant to meet a neighbor but he could hardly keep up! Then again, he didn't really mind it. The jadeblood's startled face sweetened into a content smile as Caiden took a breath and he responded. The other troll was adorably enthusiastic.
"I love to paint! I'd be overjoyed to make something with you. You look to be an artist too, right?" Caiden splattered more paint around with his movements and Amonee laughed as some of it got on their clothes. It showed noticeably on his pure white toga but he didn't seem to mind. Colors were a wonderful thing, his friend was simply filling the canvas that was Amonee at the moment!
"My favorite color changes every night. But right now I think it's yours!" Bright eyes beamed at Caiden as he reached down to help pour some more paint into the pond, clearly more than willing to help now that he understood what was going on. What else did this patch of the mountain need to liven it up? He'd think about it while they talked.
"You know, I've always wanted a garden. But this part's too rocky to grow anything. Oh could you please help me paint some?" He motioned for Caiden to wait as he dashed inside to bring his paints out as well. One more trip inside and back and he'd produced a canvas of his best still life image. A collection of deep red and purple tulips in a set of clay pots. Amonee hoped the other would like it, it'd taken him forever to get the stems just right!
"Something like this maybe? Pleaaase?" His eyes sparkled with inspiration as he cooked up a few more ideas of the beautiful things they could make together!Micillia tags back a million years later, i'm so sorry

Another painter! Caiden could barely keep still once he heard that his newly discovered neighbor was into the fun of messily throwing gobs of color all over the place too. When Caiden's new Best Friend Neighbor came back with his own art, Caiden was star struck. This wasn't just an art flinger he had happened across, he had found a real artist! "THATS. SO. AMAZING!" The brownblood could hardly get out as he jumped around, viewing the painting from all sorts of angles. "OH MY GLOB! YES! Lets make a garden FILLED with those!!" Caiden was so excited he was getting a little ahead of himself, soon he was reaching for the green while slipping in the blue paint in the "pond" and stuffing his pockets with paintbrushes he had left lying around. "Where do you want your garden? Is it gonna have just that kind of flowers? You like my color? My color is ALL the colors! We BOTH like ALL the colors! What kind of flower IS that?" Then Caiden went too far and slipped, landing on his butt. The impact stunned the brownblood, making him quiet for a bit. He sat, looking up at his standing new Neighbor Best Friend. "Oh yeah. Im Caiden."yamashii @.@ need to give him some slow-down "treats"

"You're right, we need lots of different flowers. Those are tulips but- sunflowers, yes, those would be perfect! Have you ever seen them before?" Amonee brightened as they talked and his cheeks flushed at Caiden's excitement. He'd always wondered if his own tastes were kind of weird to other trolls but this guy was totally on board-
And totally off-balance.
"Caiden! Oh no, are you okay?!" The orangeblood had been happily chatting away with him until he took an embarrassing spill to the ground. Amonee's eyes widened in surprise and concern and he dashed to the other boy's side. The ground was still slippery from all the paint they'd been splashing around and the jadeblood yelped as he wobbled and flailed his arms to stay upright. Unfortunately he had been holding a bucket of paint and managed to spill it all over Caiden. The orangeblood was now a very pretty candy red.
"Eeeeek what have I done? I'm so sorry!" Maybe someday he would look back on this and laugh but Amonee felt nothing but horror at the sight of his new friend splattered head to toe in his mistake. He hoped the other boy wouldn't be too angry but- oh geez, what a night.
"Um... I can pay to get your clothes cleaned... I'll make it up to you somehow!" While the jadeblood wasn't rich enough to buy Caiden a fancy new outfit, the least he could do was get his stuff back to the original colors.
Especially when they had been such lovely ones...Micillia >only makes it worse< : P

Caiden laughed. The paint felt sticky and slimy, but also so full of potential. "What? Why would you clean my clothes?! They are even better now! EVEN MORE COLORS!" Caiden got up out of the pond and rolled around on the ground for a while. He sat up and looked over the odd squiggles he had made. "Humm, do you see anything in um? Like cloud viewing!" The brownblood stood up and gave the shapes a hard look. It sorta looked like a flower, Amonee was way better at this than he was. "Oooh, what about this!" He picked up a paintbrush and wiped some of the red and blue off of his body. "Ill be your color palette Amonee! Ill just fallow you around and you can get colors off of ME!" Caiden moved forward to give his friend a hug, but stopped before too long. "Oh, color palettes don't hug, do they?"

What a kind person! Amonee felt himself tear up and sniffle at Caiden's ever smiling face and upbeat spunk. He had been so worried over nothing. The orangeblood laughed and cracked a few jokes as he stood up again. It wasn't long before the jadeblood joined him in smiling and chuckling.
"You look like- hee- a fruit salad." The red and blue mixed on top of all the other colors Caiden was already wearing created a lovely mashup of shades. "Strawberries and blueberries- and even oranges!" A single finger dipped into the paint before Amonee traced out the shape of a pair of cherries on the other boy's cheek. Hah, it was complete now!
"You can hug me any time you like, Cai. Art isn't about staying clean!" The other boy was just so sweet and nice and Amonee was totally swept up in his positive attitude. The orangeblood had moved to embrace him but hesitated a short distance away.
Amonee made up the difference and held on fiercely with a round of giggles.

Caiden giggled loud and happily caught in Amonee's hug-trap. It felt good to have a friend other than just CamoDad. And so nearby too. "Well, Now we will have to be red and blue trolls, huh?" Caiden said teasingly. "I hope you had fun being green Amonee, I don't know if this stuff will ever come out!" Caiden looked thoughtful for a second. "I mean, its not really a problem for me. Brown has ALL the colors in it! I just need to mix in EVEN MORE and ill be back to "Caiden," but now, how are we going to get Amonee back to Amonee?" Caiden clapped his hands together. "A REAL pond! Thats how!" Caiden thought about that for a second before hugging Amonee again. "OR WHAT IF YOU JUST BECAME BROWN WITH ME?! Oh that would be great!"yamashii Sorry, kinda brain-dead. idk if i gave you enough. Tell me if its making you stuck, kk? X :

He was just too cute. Amonee laughed as Caiden squeezed him in a hug again, proclaiming how great it'd be to be brown together.
"I can't be brown, I have to be jade!" He smiled and affectionately mussed the brownblood's hair with his hand. "It's the same color as one of my dearest friends, isn't that amazing?" How was Xavier doing anyways? The painter would have to check in on him sometime. The other jadeblood was so mysterious at times. Not at all like this big and open personality that Caiden had.
"A real pond would be great though. I've always wanted one but... I guess the mountain's not great for it." He whined and pouted a little. "Anyways, I appreciate the thought! But my clothes'll be fine, don't worry! A painter always has spares." He might also be able to just bleach all the colors off. He'd done so before in the past, it was one of the reasons he wore white, but Unicroak didn't like him handling chemicals like that for some reason. Probably because they were so potent to smell!
"So... you live around here and like to paint... Would it be okay if we worked on something together sometime? Like a huge mural!" Amonee was not a shy troll but it was a little nerve-wracking to ask Caiden to commit to such a huge project with him! Oh he hoped Caiden would say yes!Micillia Sorry times a thousand for how late this is! > A< Do we wanna wrap this one up? I would be cool with doing another one though! Or whatever you feel like! : 3

If Caiden could explode, he would. The brownblood's eyes grew huge, and he almost forgot to breathe. With a sudden intake of air Caiden's internal explosion turned vocal. "A MURAL WOULD BE THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER! And you want to do it together!? Oh my gosh IM SO EXCITED! We could even add something like... mountain pond awareness! Then sometroll could come out here and introduce ponds to the area. Maybe they would even like it here enough that we could get one to live in your yard!" Caiden stopped and caught his breath, wiping a drip of paint that had gotten into his mouth onto his already paint covered hands. "Or do we need frogs to attract ponds? Is it the other way around? Oh whatever! We can sort all that out when we get to the painting and stuff! Oh ide LOVE to paint with you Amonee!" Caiden finally let go of the jadeblood and stepped back. "Oh oh! Here! Ill write down my hive address, and then we can schedule a time or something, yeah? And a place! Yeah we need a place huh?" The brownblood continued as he started to finger-paint on an unmarked rock. yamashii Amonee can just tell Caiden that he will contact him and figure out a place together or something, and caiden can go off back to his hive to get in trouble for being all dirty razz w/e you like smile

The other boy had so much energy! It was infectious. Amonee took the address down with an eager smile. They would most certainly have to meet again and discuss their art and well, just plain hang out! Caiden was possibly the loudest friendliest troll he had met so far in his life. It was biscuit-warming to talk with someone so trusting and open.
"I'll find the place, you find the frogs!" The jadeblood let out a laugh and winked playfully at the brownblood. He didn't doubt that the other painter might actually be able to find such creatures. Would he actually bring some? Unicroak bumped his side hinting that he ought to get moving. Right, he had things to do today!
"I'll mail you, okay? Go clean up and think of ideas for the mural!" Amonee waved cheerily at Caiden with a beaming smile. This was turning out to be a great day; e'd made a new artist friend! And a creative one at that- who would've thought of a pond made out of paint?
He couldn't wait to see what other ideas swirled inside that mysterious kid's head!Micillia And fin! Thanks for playing with me, it was a lot of fun! <3
