Tough trotted into the warmth embrace of the library, relishing the feel of the carpet below his hooves, and the distinct smell of eraser and paper pages. It was all so very familiar, and it was going to become even more so. Knowing full well that Phony parents often had their hands full with children, especially those who just had a batch that winter, the librarians decided to hold the first annual Library Sleepover. It was going to run from early evening, after they had supper, and then go to the next morning by noon. This way parents could relax and wrap up presents for their phony children.
Tough had a satchel on his side and wrapped up ontop of it was his sleeping bag. The head librarian smiled and trotted over to greet him, "Hello, you must be..."
"Tough Talker, Ma'am,"
"Right! Come this way," Tough followed the older phony until they came to the kids area. It was large and colorful, and where there were usually a handful of tables and chairs, was a large open space with a few sleeping bags laying down on the ground. Tough used his magic to levitate the bags off of himself and began to spread out his sleeping bag.
"We have lots of activities planned tonight. After everyone who signed up is here, we're going to assign pairs to play together. So just wait until then, all right?" Tough nodded, and as soon as the librarian was gone, a frown appeared on his face. Pairing them off...? That seemed really boring.. Then again, maybe meeting someone new and playing with them would be good.Roarie Desu Hope this works for you! <3 I figured they could be partners and maybe play together a little bit before we skip to sleepytime adventures x3

Tri flew quickly across the courtyard and to the library, a large tote bag hanging out of her mouth. She was a little late and she knew it. She'd tried to hurry but living alone was a disadvantage sometimes. It made you independent but it also meant there was no one to help when a sleeping-bag needed washed and a pair of earrings needed finished for a client for a Christmas present. So she zoomed towards the baby phony event at the library that she'd signed up for mostly to make some new friends with all the speed her little wings could muster.
Panting she landed in front of the library and a frowning librarian. "You're late. We already paired everyone off. Yours is waiting for you." Not surprisingly the librarian knew who she was since she tended to haunt the building at least once a week.
Tri phony-shrugged, it was her only defense. "I'm sorry. I had laundry and a commission." She tried to smile sweetly but was aware the excuse would fall flat.
The still frowning librarian said nothing and simply turned to lead Tri to the others. Tri let out a small quiet sign or relief. Silent disapproval was much better than a reprimand.

A newcomer entered into the fray, and Tough knew this would be his partner. The librarian had said they paired them together because they were frequently at the library and seemed to enjoy books. The others were only loosely paired. Seemed that the librarians had a soft spot for the kiddos that tried to make use of their natural resources.
Tough approached the duo. The newest phony was mostly purple with pretty straw colored curly hair. He nodded at her, "A commission? What do you mean by that?" He tilted his head, clearly confused by how someone so young could have something like a commission.
