((Dated to October Full Moon))
"I'm glad you agreed to come with me."Phact smiled as she looked down at the white cat walking next to her. This might have been one of the first times she had not picked up a hot drink when the two of them were together but she had honestly completely forgotten. Phact was excited.
Tonight she was sharing something special to her with some one special to her. Over the months, Arthur really had become part of her life. In a good way. Now, she was going to show him something else that had become a key part.
"Sometimes I think I'm going crazy talking to myself up there. It's just so quiet..." The words made her shiver. Which made her wince. Down her left leg, the wound she had gotten earlier in the month was healing. Stitches had been needed but she was lucky, nothing broken. Just quite a bit of bed rest. The discoloration was also going down. Purple did not go with this outfit.
Now, as she came to her favorite fountain, a wave of her hand and she summoned her phone. The little pearl on the end was glowing as brightly as the moon above. "You tell me when you are ready?" She was smiling as she looked up and then knelt down to be on Arthur's level. Another small wince.

It was unfortunate that they weren't going for a coffee run, but Phact had always been so kind to let him use her coffee machine and he usually had it set up to always start in the morning for them. It was a nice to be in a routine again, to wake up, make coffee and help with breakfast and read the paper. Though, with Phact, the paper was online and not something he could fetch on the stoop. She was - also helping him with that whole new-age gadgety.
Despite this, he never said it was his home. Despite this, he still wandered, but after her injury, he had spent the time by her side, providing anything he could in his small range of abilities to help her. He owed it after all considering it was his fault.
Walking alongside her, he stopped at the fountain and then all of his fur stood up, bristling as she knelt down with clear pain. "Don't! You'll just hurt yourself. I'm....I'm ready." He said. Because of her leg, he had refrained from being on her shoulders, not wanting to add on more weight.
He waited for her to do whatever she needed to do. Was she just going to call the moon up on the phone?

Phact only shook her head softly. She understood his reason but if they were not touching...
"I need touch you to make sure you teleport with me. Otherwise we are going to be separated and it will be another lonely night." She was still smiling at him as her hand extended out. Never once had she blamed him for the injury on her leg. Frankly, she was glad she had it because it meant he was safe.
"No need to fret. This little motion just stings. Nothing to worry about." And if to try and calm him, she motioned towards the wrapping on her leg. They were clean. "I also have your soaps on DVR for when we get back."

"Just.....take it easy for me, OK? My heart can't take it if you get hurt again. Even a little." He said, and moved to crawl up and onto her shoulders, his tail curling around her neck.
"You spoil me. We should see if Denrick finally notices that Paula has been spiking his drinks with the serum this episode."

Smiling at her friend, Phact lifted the phone up. "Would it be bad to admit you have gotten me hooked?" As she spoke though, her eyes closed and she pushed a button on her phone. A soft white light grew from the pearl to surround them.
When the light cleared, they were no longer kneeling near a fountain. They were no longer kneeling on Earth. In fact, Earth was shining brightly behind them as Phact rose slowly from her low position. Today, she was grateful to have a clear landing pad. Falling on rubble would have not gone well for her or her passenger.
The silence washed over her. Not a sound around them nor a breeze to be felt. The ruins laid still, covered in their dust, though it was clear where Phact's path had been cleaned after times of coming.
All was calm as a shooting star passed over head.
"Welcome to the Moon Kingdom."

"Now why would that be bad to admit?" He asked her before he watched the light flashing on top of her phone. It was startling, to be so softly riding on someone's shoulder's, feeling their warmth, and yet seeing the world pull away so quickly that you didn't have enough time to process what was going on until you were floating silently away. There was no whiplash, so sense of suddenly zooming from one place or another, but just a sense of being off before being someplace new.
Upon the gray stones and silence, Arthur looked around, moving to place his paws on Phact's head and sniffing the air, turning his head about.
His eyes caught the shooting star. "It's so quiet here." He couldn't smell anything and the lack of anything was distressing.

"It takes some getting used to." Phact admitted as she adjusted her head to be more stable for the kitty weight on them. "I used to walk around talking to myself so it would not seem to quiet. I still do that some but when I realized I was starting to do it back on Earth...well..." She had gotten some silly looks.
"But when you begin to look, there is so much life still here." The words made Phact smile. Though she dared not move until Arthur was in a better position. "And text as well. Though in a strange moon language. But oddly enough, I'm pretty sure I have seen images of cats too in those books."

"I do that. I did that a lot actually. I mean, when I'm alone. Can't really talk on the streets. Too many people freak out and look at you and then a big mess happens and.." He let out a big sigh. It made him wonder if that was pretty weird to even talk on his own.
"But....I get to talk to you. So........so that helps." He paused a moment to think. ".....I missed it. It's hard to be quiet when you don't know the person for a long time." Elanor just knew what he was thinking and that made it easier to not talk at all, but in the quiet of night, he would whisper to her as she slept, telling her all he wasn't able to when she was awake.
"I think you're really the first person I've talked this long too."
Hoping down, he looked about, following close beside her in order not to get lost and left behind, which he worried about. "Cats in the language? Well.......you think they had cats here?"

His small ramble about talking to himself made the senshi smile. It was true. Unless people knew he was more than just a simple tom cat, the very idea of carrying on a conversation with him would have sent someone to the loony bin.
"Well I feel honored" Phact smiled, not at all joking. Even if he was not the most 'knowledgeable of the guardian cats, Arthur was indeed some of the best company.
"I do think they did. For what reason, I am not sure. My guess is something like what you all do now." She gazed down at the white fluff as she walked, slow enough to not rush him. "But I can't be sure. I always seem them in images with others who look important. Such as who I believe to be either the former Queen or Princess of this once great kingdom." Her eyes shot out again at the ruins as Phact led them both towards the fallen walls of the main doors. She was careful, both for her leg and his smaller ones, to take routes more open than some of the direct ways. "But I'm not sure much. I haven't been looking as often in the books since I discovered something out back."
The words made her smile but she did not turn from her path and turned a corner. "But if I am not mistake, just down this hall is the remains of a painting. The figure in it is torn but at the bottom, you can make out a black cat..." Phact spoke, looking from image to torn wall until she pointed at the one half way down on the left.

"I wouldn't think those on the moon would even need someone to wake them up and give them things. If they were already that person." He wasn't sure. His education on what he was had only just started and he was trying to absorb enough of it while still retaining some distance in case he felt he could somehow turn back.
The slow pace was one he could actually keep up with, but he worried partly if it was because of her leg, and stuck close enough to be there for her but not enough that she would have to worry about tripping and hurting herself any more. He already caused enough of that.
Turning the corner, he turned up ahead and, taking her lead, moved up ahead to the picture she pointed out, moving up ahead down the crumbled hallway to the large mural portrait of a lady in a flowing white dress detailed in gold lace, her head turned with long ponytails. By her side was a black cat, its start clear and prominent on its forehead.
As he got closer, he stopped and looked up.
What was it about her that felt like something else? Something familiar. Like he had seen her once before.
"She looks pretty…." He paused before adding. "…important."
