There was nothing that would indicate Star Blayze's current mood. Perhaps Starfall his owl familiar would know what was going on in his head but the owl had been noticeably absent as of late. Star could not fault his familiar companion for the absenteeism. He was not sure if had had been seeing things but it almost looked as if Starfall had been in the company of another owl. The stallion sighed in frustration. He was not going to begrudge happiness to another creature but it made his heart yearn for some companionship of his own. It was true that he had not looked for that special somebody as of yet. Perhaps it was time to change that. Star Blayze sighed softly as he took to the sky. His thoughts swirled about his mind like the eddies of wind that buffeted him back and forth in the air.

He was not in the mood for flying too much. The stallion alighted on the ground beyond an outcropping of rocks that served as a visual aid marker. Once on the ground he shook out his wings before sighing softly. His gaze picked out familiar landmarks and he grimaced before making his way slowly towards the cave that he liked to think of his. It was here and here alone that the loneliness seemed to come crashing down on him. He had no one to look forward to greeting each time he returned. Star Blayze entered his home and flopped down on the grasses that he and Starfall had worked together to gather. Star Blayze let his eyes close as he let sleep wash over him. Perhaps tomorrow would be a better day.
