General Labyrinthite didn't often make appearances, not when there wasn't a specific reason pushing him out into the cold winter nights.

Yet something called to him, urged him out of his too large, too empty house and onto the streets of Destiny City. His civilian form, a man named Chase Black, made his way across concrete sidewalks until he feels he's an appropriate distance from his residence. He ducks into an alley, as he's prone to, and reemerged as different, dark, powerful.

General Labyrinthite continued his stroll through the lamp-lit streets, sinister cloak billowing behind him with the slight winter wind, until he reached the outskirts of Downtown DC. There, a small innocent blip of energy pulsed and, intrigued, Labyrinthite pursued it.

When he found the small girl, the child he frowned, flashes of a different chibi surfacing to the fronts of his memory banks. His fingers furled inwards and his jaw clenched as he approached slowly, cautiously.

Bright gold eyes regarded the girl and her pop-tarts curiously.

"Aren't you out past your bed time?" He asked, low and gravely.

His hand shot out to catch the food that was thrown at him effortlessly, an instinctive reaction and he frowned when the sticky innards of the Pop-Tart smeared across his hand. He dropped the treat, crushing it beneath his heel, and wiped his hand off on his cloak. His bright, gold eyes swept over her uniform as if it'd jog something in his memory.

As it stood, she was unremarkable and seemed to have a bit of an attitude.

"Of course you have," he snorted, unamused as she was. He couldn't help the eyeroll that came when she felt the need to mock his hair. Only one other person really poked fun at the stark pink that sat in the middle of black hair. "You sound like Iris," he muttered under his breath as he strode forward.

"I assume you've heard it's not safe for little girls to be out alone in the middle of the night."

Others may have had qualms about attacking a chibi senshi but Labyrinthite did not share those feelings. The way he figured, they had a choice to power up and participate in the war. They'd also had the potential to become actual senshi who would pose a real threat. They needed to be dealt with.

It was part of being on spec-ops, being willing to do what others wouldn't.

"I'm afraid your youth won't save you."

The chibi senshi had a stock of attitude that someone else might have been impressed by but the general was anything but. Eyes narrowed as she tried to shoot back witty phrasing and he clucked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

Children always liked to think that they were smarter or more capable than they really were and this one was proving that she thought she could handle him, like the differences in their ranks alone wouldn't bring her to an early grave.

"They were there for warning not fear." He scoffed, holding his arm out as he summoned his scythe from subspace right as she ran at him.

His blade was turned inward, the general more interested in teaching a lesson before death than immediately killing, he swung the back of the scythe at her.

The skull connected and the girl was knocked on her a**. Following the swing, Labyrinthite's grip on the curved bone staff slipped and it fell heavily onto the ground with an almost sickening CRACK with the concrete splintering beneath it's weight. Even still that seemed to deter him little, the general striding forward and the streetlamps casting his shadow long and far before him.

"And this is why little girls should heed warnings," he mocked, mouth twisting into a sinister grin of white beneath the shadow of his hood.

Heels of his boots clicked as his cloak fluttered behind him, each step careful and measured. When he reached her, the pink spatted leg lifted. "You should have listened," he said with a sigh and the cluck of his tongue before his heel came down.
