Since finding the Korean area of the city he had been spending his time there and not really venturing out of the area. It was safe and familiar as the language was something he knew, the people weren't too different from what he'd see at home as far as clothing went. Everything was comfortable to him and he had been falling for it, falling into a lull and comfortable feeling. He didn't want to drift outside of the area unless he had to, to go home or the grocery store, but he did have a gym membership and the gym was not in the familiar area of Korea Town.
Paying for the membership and not going didn't make sense and so he'd gone to the gym earlier in the evening, put his membership to good use, and was now on his way home on foot. He didn't have a car, or a license, and as for public transit well he was a bit lost there. he could call a cab but he'd rather not spend the money on a cab when he could just as easily walk and save the money. he'd found out cabs were rather...expensive in the city and he wasn't interested in paying for them all the time, saving the times he used them for trips home from the grocery store.
His gym bag was slung over his head and the bag rested against his side as he walked down the side walk. His hands, covered by gloves, were tucked into the pockets of the puffy coat he wore in order to keep warm. It was cold out but not too cold, not intolerable, he'd had colder and walked out into said cold. This didn't mean his pace wasn't a bit hurried, and his focus not fully on everything around him, as he wanted to get home and take a hot shower and curl up in a chair by the heating vent in the living room with the tv on. He really wished their building had the same heating as their old apartment back in Seoul had, laying on the heated floor really was nice, as much as some might disagree with him and his opinion.

Ochre, however, was not having such a kind evening.
As he recently discovered, corrupted senshi still faced endangerment by youma. The creatures found them seldom different from their White Moon counterparts and attacked relentlessly, to which Ochre responded in self-defense. He used his magic but once, in which the ethereal white spirit collided with the skull of the fetid gazelle youma, and reduced it to little more than ash almost instantaneously. Ochre thought that he was safe, that he could continue his patrols unhindered, but a captain had witnessed the act and threatened to report him if he didn't fulfill that captain's energy quota for the week.
The catch to such a deal was that he needed to do so in the next three hours. Afterward, as the captain informed him, she returned home for the night to finish her studies for upcoming exams. Attached to that was a promise that she would notify Laurelite herself of his insubordination for destroying a youma. It was in t͏hes͡e̶ ͝ca͟ses̛ th̵͞a̶t̢̀ ҉͏Ǫ͜c͘͝ḩr͏e f̨̕͡e̷͘͘l̷̀t̛͏̧̡ ̀p͘͏͝͡ér͏҉̢s͠e̡͟҉c̵͢u͟͞҉̴͠t̷̡͘e̶̷d҉́͘͟
Ochre paused, scratched his ear, and continued down the long, empty street. Darkness loomed more heavily and oppressively about him with the absence of street lamps to light the way. And yet he spotted a lone civilian by motion alone, still barely illuminated by a 24 hour laundromat storefront, who looked to be in much the same rush as he. Ochre didn't mind it; unless he was a track runner, the corrupted senshi figured he would catch up without wasting his energy on teleportation.
And besides, a lack of pants meant that he suffered in the algid weather and could use the exercise to keep his temperature up.
"Excuse me!" He called after the other boy. "Hey! You dropped something!"

The bright lights coupled with the bright whiteness of the clean laundromat was too much for his dark eyes, it was all too bright. As he walked by the place his eyes had turned downwards toward his shows and the sidewalk, it wasn't so harsh on his eyes even if the store front did light the ground up rather well. It wasn't nearly as blinding as even a side glance into the building was, for which he was grateful.
What he wasn't expecting was to hear someone call out into the darkness, and they had to be calling out to him. he was the only person out here other than whoever was calling him. Turning slowly, hesitantly, he was staring at the figure headed his way. Their clothing certainly was...stand out and looked cold - very cold in fact. Averting his eyes from the lack of pants he turned his attention to the others face. "Did I?" He asked giving a questioning look to the male coming his way.
Holding one hand out ready to take whatever it was that he'd dropped. He was, while waiting for them to catch up to him, wondering what he'd dropped. Was there a small hold in his bag and something had fallen from it? If it was something he knew was in his bag he'd have to check it for a hole and carry it in his arms the rest of the walk home, not that it was such a bad thing. "Thank you." The words were already passing his lips as the figure, very oddly dressed as they were, drew closer to him. They really seemed odd...the hair, so long, and the clothing...and the lack of it.
Could this be something like Polaris had warned him about?

'Wouldn't you know if you dropped something? Ochre asked himself as he closed the distance to his target. Evidently not, for this boy looked expectant and hopeful that Ochre would return the item that he supposedly dropped. The corrupted senshi kept his speed slow, a normal jog for any civilian out in this weather, and panted as if tired by the burst of exercise. It felt halfway near a bad idea when he opted for such a disguise, as his hair and clothes so obviously offset him from the typical winterized attire, but he similarly knew of a few folks dumb enough to dress in shorts around now. But perhaps most interestingly, even with the brilliant glare of the laundromat casing out their strip of sidewalk, the boy hadn't taken notice of his forehead and chest. Inwardly Ochre hoped that he assumed a tattoo.
The boy looked well-dressed, or at least appropriately dressed for this weather - unlike Ochre's uniform. And Ochre envied him for that, knowing that he could not alter his uniform to fit the colder climate, but he considered how it might feel to have his starseed as a hand warmer. And, of course, when someone was lying face-down in the gutter, they probably didn't need their winter clothes. Yes, there were a few ways to skirt this algid discomfort.
Ochre had balled his fingers into a fist before he finally reached conversational distance. "Hey, no problem," he said with a smile as he took the boy's hand and jerked it towards him. The fist then came toward the boy's chest, opening as chaos would allow it to pass through clothes, skin, bone as he pleased.
He hoped this boy wasn't quick on his feet, for he would've loved to grasp a fresh, warm starseed in the next couple seconds.
Bonus points if he could wrench it out without some senshi taking notice of him.

With the size of his bag, and the amount of clothing and other things in it, he figured it was possible to drop something light like a shirt and not notice. But as he looked over the other he saw no shirt, no sock, no nothing. He figured something light that he wouldn't have felt drop could have fallen from the bag, he had his dirty gym clothing in the bag, a empty and half empty bottle of water, and a few other items as well. If not a shirt or sock, or something light that wouldn't have made any noticeable noise falling, than what? Something small....something which could fit into a hand? He couldn't think of anything as he watched the other, who really had to be freezing, approach.
As the other drew closer what looked like tattoos, or some sort of body art, didn't seem like it...but what if not some form of body decorating? The holes, and the radiating cracks, looked very real. No, it couldn't be though....but this all felt wrong, similar to that night in the alley with that thing; that youma. He'd been warned but nothing had come up about people looking broken in certain areas. So maybe he was feeling off for no reason?
When his hand was gripped, rather than something behind placed into it, he knew he was in trouble and tried to pull back even as he was yanked forward. A cry of shock passed his lips before it was followed by a sound of pain. He didn't understand even as he stared into ice blue eyes with his own dark ones. What was going on? This was one of the ones Polaris had warned him about but she hadn't mentioned this sort of pain!
He couldn't just stand here though, no, and so despite the pain and what he saw to be a hand in his chest he started to try and step back but it seemed to only hurt more and so he brought one hand up to curl around the others wrist and squeeze in the hopes of stopping the other from whatever he was meaning to do, or was doing.
"S-stop." The word stuttered past his lips as he bit back on another sound of pain and grit his teeth instead.

It was a lucky coincidence that found Elle in that part of town that evening. It wasn't her usual haunt, not by far, but she'd been struck by an undeniable sense of wander lust. Now, she wasn't foolish, the girl hadn't gone wandering beyond Camelot's territory powered. That would have been nothing more than an invitation to a certain blood thirsty general with a personal vendetta. No, The young woman had been strolling along the main street of little Korea as her civilian self, a bag of take out in one hand and the other resting on the strap of a purse slung across her chest. She didn't power up until she heard the sound of someone running, the rise of a voice calling out, and then, softer, a stuttered protest. It was close, the next street over by the sound of it, and Elle was quick to respond. Henshin pen in hand, she set the take out on a window ledge and started running. As she slid around the corner she'd already called her magic around her, so when she laid eyes on the scene in front of her, it was as Navi, Eternal senshi of tumbleweeds. A petite figure in earth tones and oranges, ginger curls twisting in the chilly breeze. "I advise you to stop." She was, as so often lately, soft spoken and prim, even as she lifted her hands, palms facing the corrupt and his captive. "I'll let you walk away from this unscathed, if you leave him be," she promised, voice ringing sincere. "But if you force me to, I will fight you." Appearance wise, if you weren't familiar with the girl, it wasn't much of a threat. She was a small thing, and she gave off the air of a pacifist, but she hadn't always been so sweet, and she hadn't always been so shy of violence. Navi knew how to fight, she just didn't prefer it.

"I can't," he replied to the boy. "It's kind of like an automatic thing, you know?" His hand gripped the starseed gently, and it felt warm to the touch. It felt enticing in a manner that a steak dinner couldn't manage - in a way that satisfying an impulse couldn't begin to describe. He didn't fully understand why the claiming of a starseed appealed to him so, for he found the practice entirely detestable when pent up in his cell, but he figured he must've finally come into the Negaverse's line of thinking.
Regardless, it felt g͏͟o̵͝o̷̵͠d̛͢͝, and he knew not to question good things.
Even as he felt the moon senshi dawn over the horizon, and heard her small voice, Ochre's grasp slipped from the boy's chest with the starseed in tow. Brilliant it was, and an excellent personal heater on a cold day like today. He wondered why it wasn't letting off steam in the night. "Oops, my hand slipped." Ochre held out the starseed both for himself to examine and for her to see. The crumpled body on the floor next to him was likely evidence enough, but Ochre preferred to be thorough. "I guess you'll have to fight me now, huh?" The starseed was then slipped into his coat pocket. Negaspace would've been a better location for it, he supposed, but if he was to fight this girl, he expected it was added insult to injury to swallow the boy's starseed and heal from his wounds.
"Except, you see, I can teleport. So I mean sure, you can fight me, but I could just. I don't know. Disappear into the night." He held up spirit fingers to enunciate his point. "Maybe you want to think about making me a deal instead. Or like, a trade. Your energy for his starseed? I think that sounds like a fair trade. It sounds like it's in your favor, actually. So I'm gonna add to it - I want your energy and your sphere and your name. Sound good?
"Just remember, time's ticking before this one expires." He nudged the prostrate civilian with his boot.Sleet Tempest Snape lmk if you need me to change anything here

An automatic thing?! How the hell was slipping your hand into someones chest, how this was done he didn't know, was automatic he didn't know - he really didn't. But more to the point was that he didn't want to know. He just knew that he wanted that hand out of his chest and the pain to stop - it hurt.
The voice of someone new, someone else, drew his attention and his dark gaze right before he a cry of pain forced it's way from his lips right before everything went black. The hand had left his chest, as he'd wanted it to, but something precious and needed had left with it. It was what brought the man to the ground as his body struggled to continue with what was needed to support life. Meanwhile there was nothing there inside his chest, well...there was but not that glittering little bit that was needed for life. Seung lay there, eyes closed, and for the most part - dying but slowly. Unaware of the deal being tossed out which may save his life, maybe not though. Strickenized All is good, this is perfect. I want him to really hate/dislike the Negaverse so this is perfect. ^_^

It was a steep request, and one that left a bitter taste on the girl's tongue. As if he had already won this, by laying out the only options he assumed there was left to her. Unfortunately for him, he'd be wrong on that account. She could have monologued right back at him. Given her name, her sphere, how she intended to beat him, but that was a little cliche, and tended to lead to all manner of complications. It also would have wasted precious time. Time the civilian no laying at the corrupt's feet didn't have. Navi's eyes narrowed, and she let her arms begin to lower, let him think for just a second that perhaps he'd outsmarted her. But she didn't need her hands for her magic to work, not the strongest of it, the attack that attacked as well as trapped. She only needed to keep her eyes on her opponent. "I am disinclined to acquiesce to your request," she informed him levelly, gaze dipping for half a second to the unconscious civilian at his feet, then landing solidly on her target. She didn't shout it. She didn't have to. "Ravor wind snare." The kick up of wind was instantaneous and precise, whipping around the corrupt in ever tightening bands that bit and sliced that razor blades across every available inch of the young corrupt's body. Surrounding it, further obscuring the trapped senshi's vision, a thick tangle of bramble branches. "You're not going anywhere." Quote: ❉ Eternal Sailor Attack: Razor Wind Snare Navi can form a giant tumbleweed that entraps her opponent. Within the weed wind swirls around at incredible speeds and acts as hundreds of tiny blades, slicing anything they touch, be it clothing, hair, or flesh. This lasts for about a minute and then vanishes. It traps the opponent completely, but the 'cage' of branches isn't much stronger then a normal bundle of sticks. If they're powerful enough, or have enough magic, that can break free, they would just have to be able to concentrate enough to do so while being slashed at. Duration: 30-40 seconds

Well then I guess I get lunch, he thought to himself, and was about to simply take the starseed and leave, when the winds kicked up instantaneously. Ochre startled significantly, and tried to step back, when a tuft of brambles pressed to him. "********!" He cursed to himself as he tried to cover his face from the systematic slashes that materialized out of nowhere. His coat quickly began its descent into tatters, his thighs were cut, and parts of his face received similar damage. The wind managed to cut his hair in places, leaving thick strands drooping out of his braids. During this time, he tried to force his way out of the giant tumbleweed, and found no success.
"Call this s**t off or I'm gonna eat his starseed!" He yelled between the massive brambles. "I mean it!" Shortly after he groaned again, as another force of wind cut his cheek. He hoped that, if the senshi escaped him, then Xenotime would be much too interested in pursuing and killing this one.
Plus, the more seconds she wasted on this magic, the fewer seconds the boy had to live. Surprisingly it hadn't cut the starseed into pieces yet; she must have been quite sure of her ability if she thought doing so wouldn't annihilate it.

She'd do as he asked, but she doubted very much the corrupted expected her to be standing directly in front of him as the bramble fell, disappearing before it met the chilly sidewalk. Navi took advantage of the time the spell bought her to race towards the pair, and when the magic lifted, her hand shot out, small fingers wrapping tightly around the wrist of the hand that held the starseed and jerking it back towards her, if for no other reason than to throw him off balance. It'd also keep it that much farther than his mouth. That was a risk she really didn't want to take, because once he swallowed it, there would be no getting it back. The civilian would die, and that would be it. She simply couldn't let that happen. Whatever extra strength the girl gained from her level of power she used now, twisting the other senshi's arm to keep him off balance, other hand cocking back to aim a quick jab at his cheek, hopefully too distracted for much retaliation. Then her free hand was lowering between them, fingers up and palm very nearly pressing into his chest. "If you thought that hurt, then a more concentrated dose would be far more painful." She still had yet to raise her voice, but at least now she seemed at least vaguely on edge. The composure she projected was a mask. If he could have felt her pulse, he'd know how hard her heart was hammering right now. "Drop the starseed, or we'll see how well protected your chest is."

Ochre found no time to react between receding brambles and the eternal's sudden appearance. She seized his hand despite all intentions, twisted it painfully, and then readied a second strike without so much as a chance for him to retaliate. This turn of events left Ochre feeling both frustrated and helpless - for he was once in a very stable position of power, and now he was reduced to nothing more than a plaything.
It infuriated him far more than it inspired awe or fear for this enemy.
The starseed dropped from his hand due to a lack of interest in seeing his arm break - some kid on the street wasn't worth the healing time of a spiral fracture. "Fat chance of you getting in there," he spat back. "You don't know anything about what it's like to pull a starseed."Beejoux assumed strikes on part of the attacker is considered powerplaying - the choice of the hit landing or not is on part of the defender unless predetermined in a discussion. please ask before assuming that she landed all her strikes. his fingers opened to allow the star seed to drop, and that was all the incentive Navi needed to let him go. She had no inclination to fight him, and certainly not for the sake of violence. She'd just wanted to get the seed back, so she could save the civilian that still lay unconscious at their feet. "Do not be so sure of that," she countered smoothly, delicate features a careful mask that hid any hint of worry that he might be right. She didn't know how to snatch seeds from the breasts of her enemies, but she knew they could be put back. She'd heard about it plenty of times. It couldn't be that hard, could it? Bending, Navi grabbed the seed up from the ground, eyes never leaving the corrupted, and the hand that had pointed at his chest stayed level, ready to loose more magic should he get the urge to try something further. "Leave now, or I will continue to fight you." It was clear though, that that was his choice, and hot her desire. strickenized I am so sorry! I am usually much better about my wording. Ochre tried to step on the gem before she got to it - it would've been easier if he could quash all hint of life from the civilian before she could return it to him - but she stooped quickly, and gathered it before his boot found the delicate crystal. Ochre loosed an exasperated sigh before he stepped away once more, increasingly infuriated that this White Moon senshi appeared out of nowhere to foil a perfectly easy, perfectly executed starseeding.
"Yeah, sure, take it, that's fine. Not like my superiors will be thinking about snatching my starseed instead or anything. Not like I've got weekly duties to attend to." Ochre continued to back up while he considered where to return to. "Just be careful with those things. You drop it, it shatters. Trust me."
Ochre did not linger to watch her deposit the seed into the boy's chest - he knew his temper would dominate if he did so. Instead, The redhead stooped for a jump, and crested the laundromat, then started along the strip mall's length before descending into the streets on the other side. The way home grew long, but he knew he could find a few starseeds along the way. Rage always enabled him to take far more than he felt comfortable with on a normal day.

"You could consider changing your allegiance!" But he was already gone, his aura slipping away into the night. Navi frowned after him, unsure if letting him go unharmed had really been the act of mercy she'd meant it to be. Lips pressed in a thin line, she looked down at the crystal in her hands, then down at the civilian still laying at her feet. She needed to get it back inside him, and quickly. So she dropped gracefully down to her knees at his side, and she brought the glittering gem up to position it carefully over his chest, saying a quick pray under her breath that it wasn't too late. Slowly, carefully, she drew her fingers away from it, and as it stood on it's own she let out a sigh of relief. Just in time, it seemed. Features softening, she shifted a hand to coax it down, back skin, past muscle, past bone itself until it was situated exactly where it had been snatched from a few moments before. strickenized Bye Felicia!
