Temple Plains ~ Temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus
The most sacred temple on Temple Plains and a replica of the temple from Camp Jupiter, The Temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus is a reminder to the Roman Demigods and Legacies that they can once again rise from the ashes despite what they have lose. Jupiter is their most sacred and powerful God and as long as he is with them then everything should be okay.
The design of the temple is actually quite simple really; it is about 60 ft from floor to ceiling and covered in mosaics and Latin inscriptions. It is made of marble and the whole temple is open so that air may make its way through the temple. However, it is not the size or beauty of the temple that is truly impressive. The true magnificence of the Temple comes from the large golden statue of Jupiter in the middle of it that stands on a large slab of marble. He looks mighty, proud and confident as he holds his Master Bolt in hand.
