Guild Master NPC

The first day of Sword Art Online's official service, during which around 10,000 players logged into SAO, Kayaba Akihiko or The Guild Master, unknowingly to them, successfully trapped the players in the game. After a bit of time he forcefully teleporting all players in the game to the Starting City, he appeared in his GM avatar and, during his tutorial, explained the new rules of the game, including the fact that the players would need to conquer all 100 floors of the game to be set free and that death in-game or any attempt to remove the NerveGear would cause the NerveGear to fry the user's brain. To prove that the game was their new reality. He then told them of a gift he left them in their inventories, he gave them a all a type of mirror that changed the avatars of all players to look like their real life bodies, Through the chaos and confusion he signaled the start of the game and wished all the players the best of luck.

Kaliska:

Kaliska stood shocked when the guild master appeared and told them of how they were trapped in this world, the one that has been her safe haven, and why they couldnt log out anymore. As the fear and anger mixed with in her her body started to shake. She looked around everyone was scared, thousands were trying again and again to log out but to no avail. She looked back at the guild master as he told of a gift he had placed in all their inventories. She open her inventory and saw a mirror, she took it from her inventory and held it in her hand. It looked normal enough but when she held it up and looked in its true purpose was revealed. A light grew and surrounded her, causing her to panic as the mirror changed her in game avatar in to her real self. She shook as she looked in to the mirror and saw her real face. ' How is this possible...why....why did he do this.... ' she thought as she looked over the crowd and saw many unfamiliar faces, she couldn't even recognize other beta testers now. Once the GM vanish and the crowd roared and panicked Kaliska slipped away, the situation was bad, fighters would be wanting to gain skills and supplies through nearby quests, they would also want currency to buy better weapons and armors. She started off to one of the near by towns to get a bit of a head start on the quests and limited opportunities that werent gonna be available much longer.

The entire situation was simply unbelievable, perhaps at first. TO be stuck inside a videogame, surely that was a jest, a joke. If it was then it was a really good one, with plenty of amusement. It would've made sense, after all that would've made the game frontline news on gaming sites as a good practical joke. Of course, the moment everyone's avatars began changing, it was completely obvious that this was no joke. Especially when Amalia/Adan himself could feel his clothing become, shall one say, loose at the chest. His figure had almost remained unchanged aside from that, as he already possessed a rather feminine figure, but the chest gave it all away. That, and the lack of his long, dark blue hair.

He could feel one of his panic attacks beginning to form as people around him screamed and began to panic themselves, his chest clamped tight and his breathing began to speed up to unhealthy levels of hyperventilation. He put his hands against his head, trying to count slowly to block out the sound. That wasn't working, something else, poker. HE began to go through his head a game, turn by turn, narrating it in his head until he felt his chest and lungs free up again. Just barely, crisis was averted. With this done he pushed himself up and took care of his appearance, taking two lengths of ribbon out of his inventory (extremely long ribbon) and tying his clothes at his chest, binding them so they would stay fit around his body. He also took a length of white cloth and wrapped his face in it, this bandana was supposed to hide his face when assassinating, but it would do well to hide his masculine features as he took off at a sprint.

He was a beta tester, he knew this floor's map better than most others. He was the Fallen Rose, master assassin. He could find his way through before it went to hell. It helped that, as an assassin archetype of person, he'd built up large amounts of Agility along with his strength (for all his high strength weapons). So he was moving much faster than, almost any other player in the game actually. His white outfit fluttered around him as he ran, accidentally bumping into someone and tripping when he turned around a corner. "S..Sorry." he said, his voice so androgynous almost anyone except an expert would be fooled.

While Dennenth was out in the beginning fields helping his sister Soleil get used to the game, already Soleil was having a lot of fun being able to share Dennenth's world with him. He smiled softly watching as she fought one of the level 1 mobs, an oversize warthog looking creature. When she took it down, he brought up the in-game clock. "Whoa, we've been in here three hours already. We need to head back out and get something to eat." Dennenth said to Soleil, she pouted some when he said this. "But we've only just started." She said to him, he chuckled softly hearing her. "Yes and we'll be bac...." He stopped mid-sentence seeing that the log out option had been removed, Soleil tilted her head some looking at him. "What's wrong brother?" She asked moving over to him, "I can't seem to find the log out option.....it's been removed." He said to himself as he kept looking through the menus, but as he was he could feel himself being forcefully teleported. He looked over at his sister who was looking frightened and quickly reached out to her and took hold of her hand, before the two of them were forcefully teleported to the main square of the first town.

After the announcement from the GM, during which Soleil clung to Dennenth. Dennenth looked around at the other players around them, he held Soleil close to him. When he saw the effect the mirror was having on the others, he destroyed his and Soleil's. He turned to Soleil and looked into her eyes, "We need to get out of here quickly." He whispered softly to her, she looked at him and nodded her head. Denennth then turned but kept kneeling, while Soleil climbed up onto his back. He then stands up and once making sure he had a good grip on her, he quickly ran out of the square and quickly left the starter town. "The first few areas are going to be flooded by new players and beta testers sneaking away the quests." He said to her as he ran along, "We'll start from the second town, we'll only have to contend with a few others. I'll not allow anything bad to happen to you." Dennenth said to Soleil, she held onto him tighter as he ran along.

With her current level and skills she knew she could make quick work of the bigger or more limited quests on this floor. She drew her sword and effortlessly too care of any monsters or creatures that passed her way as she travel to her targeted quests. Kaliska knew there was no time to waste, this first floor was about to break in to hell as the new players realized what players like Kaliska already knew, and space between people was gonna be desired. She ran and ran, her agility somewhat lacking, at a annoyingly slow pace. Upon arriving in the village she began tackling the desired quests one after the other. And once she got what she came for she went off towards the next village. One village at a time she completed the available then moving one, slowly making her way towards the second level floor. She knew it would take the newbies enough time to learn and defeat the first floors monsters and quests. After awhile when she got most the quest she wished to, she started towards the second floor, the real world entering her mind for the first time since the gms announcement. ' What of mother and my brother....who will help them...will the find me and rip of my nerve gear....will they even notice that i am not there helping them anymore....may someone help them...until i escape this world, please....someone help them ' she thought, crying a bit as she walked. The thought of her family alone drove her to take step after step, she knew for them she had to keep going. Soon however she stopped in her tracks and sighed " Damn....here i am heading towards the second floor when its not even opened yet...". She sighed and wandered around til a bit to clear her head.

Neetin was busy exploring the beginning town right from the get go. There were so many people on, it wasn't even funny. Still he shouldn't of been so surprised as it was the first day of the games release. While browsing one of the shops for equipment he was suddenly transported back to the center of the town. It seemed all the other players were transported too. It was then that the GM appeared before all of them. He announced that there wasn't any ability to log out from the game, dying in the game meant dying for real, being unplugged from the Nervegear would kill them. To leave the game the final floor would have to be cleared, all 100 levels. With it said everyone was given a mirror. Upon receiving it, he pulled it from his inventory. Looking into the mirror his appearance suddenly changed. A face of shock over came him as the character he created as gone. In its place it was literally himself. "Woah..." He said feeling his face. Yeah it was definitely his own, from the texture to the shape of it. He was more fascinated with how they actually were able to pull this off. Though he turned his attention back to the GM right before he departed. All of a sudden the crowd broke out into panic and confusion. Most people didn't know what to do. Neetin however didn't want to stay in this chaos. He bobbed and weaved through the players getting to an isolated area. Taking a moment he collected his thoughts breathing in deeply. So he took into account the situation he was in. "Alright. So I am stuck here in a game. One life, 100 levels to beat. What is the first thing that needs to be done?" He stopped putting a hand to his chin. Thinking about it for a moment it occurred to him quickly. "Getting stronger is one thing. Getting better equipment is another...." Looking at his ax that he bought right when he got online he saw how cheap it looked. Swinging the ax he got a feel for how it acted. He wasn't new to these sorts of games, but he hadn't had a taste of combat quite yet. One thing was for certain though, he knew what he wanted to do. "You are going to be my task. Lets see how powerful we can make you." He told himself with a confident grin. Putting the weapon away he rushed off through the streets heading out of town. He didn't know exactly where he was going. Though he didn't exactly care. There was a goal in mind, and he was going to be apart of an epic adventure.

After sorting out the situation with the person he had bumped into, 'Amalia' managed to get onto the road out of town. It would be easy from here on out to run free, seeing as there were no blind corners to jump around. Taking up his position, he looked ahead and burst forth down the street out, towards the second town. He carried nothing in his hand, but kept his uniform free to flutter and flap around his feminine figure as he went. His high AGI was perhaps the highest of the beta testers at the moment, having devoted much of his points to the stat (with STR being kept high enough to use his weapon arsenal effectively), he could move at incredible speed.

It was part of the reason he soon found himself in a bit of a predicament. That being that he moved to avoid running into two people, one carrying the other, but tripped on himself (having not yet gotten used to his clothing again). He managed to get up, but froze when he saw the male. "Swordsman." He said quietly, nerviously taking a looser stance. He didn't want to fight here, not now, but in the Beta he'd taken up many contracts to try and kill the shadow swordsman. Never quite worked out, but he'd certinally damaged or annoyed him.

After the big announcement from the GM about being unable to log out, Castamere admittedly freaked out for a bit. After all, not only was he trapped in a game where he could die, but he had to find other people who'd be willing to team up with him in order to survive. The broadsword wielding player was usually eager to try and make new friends, but he had to be a bit more careful here, as pissing someone off could mean death, especially given the panic this development had caused. Then again, being a beta tester with a higher level than most was a good safeguard, for the time being.

Castamere probably shouldn't have believed the whole "death game" thing so quickly, but it was better to be safe and gather some friends than get careless and possibly die for real. After enhancing his weapon a bit at the town smithy using materials he'd gathered from the beta, the young man walked through the bustling town in search of a few possible sidekicks for his adventures. Hell, maybe he could even form a guild, if he gathered enough interest. "Hm...I wonder what I'd even call my own guild..." He thought out loud.

As he was running along with his sister, Dennenth heard the sounds of someone falling behind him. He slowed to a stop and looked back over his shoulder, his eyes narrowing when he saw the familiar figure. "You again?" He said and quickly spun to face Amalia, "Get down sister." Dennenth said as he crouched slightly, once Soleil had jumped down off his back and moved away a few steps. He reached back and drew his impressive weapon, he gripped the handle tightly and got into a battle stance that would allow for maximum speed to his strikes.

"I don't have time for you right now and I'll not allow you anywhere near Soleil." Dennenth said darkly as he kept his eyes locked on Amalia, Soleil looked around Dennenth some at Amalia. "Who is she brother?" She asked him, "She is one of the more annoying players I met in the beta, others who weren't skilled enough to match me went and hired her to try and assassinate me. Which she found to be a job more dangerous then she expected." Dennenth said as he gripped the handle of his katana tighter getting ready to strike, Soleil walked up to Dennenth and gently placed a hand on his arm. "Maybe she's not here to fight, everyone's only just now got in." She said softly to him, he looked over at her slightly. Then back to Amalia, "Perhaps you are right." He said, easing up some but still in a ready to strike stance. "What do you want now assassin?" He asked Amalia.

"Same reason I'm assuming you're taking your.. sister?... to the next town over. Experience and quests are going to go quickly, if she's to have a chance she'd need to hunt around areas where others won't limit her. And with a beta like you she'd have a chance of getting ahead." 'She' held up a hand to show she wasn't going to strike, but did flick out a knife for herself to hold if it came to blows. The stance of 'her' knees were slightly bent to dodge, but not in such a stance to imply she meant to strike. "Not to mention if anyone is to try and kill her early, out where everyone is would be the least safe for now. It's smart to go where she won't be alone but still not surrounded by hundreds of people."

'She' stood up a little taller, adjusting her white cloth face-mask. "I don't want to fight you Swordsman. Even with the contract still hovering over your head. Rather I'd like to ask you to try and find it in your heart to forgive me. The beta was a game."

Kaliska wander until she stopped, not to far from her was what looked like the on start of fight. Kaliska, possessing a high skill in hiding, moved closer staying careful as to not be noticed. As she got closer she noticed the names of the players before her, One known as swordsman was a fellow whom she hand ever ran in to but she knew he was a beta tester and was fairly skilled with his katana. The other is who caught her attention 'Amalia' a pesky player who in only absolute luck had bested her in a duel during the beta testing of SAO. Moving out of hiding and walked towards them, her blade drawn, her eyes more so on amalia. She wouldnt kill her but she was gonna show that she devil that that win was a one time fluke and nothing more. "Oh boy i am glad to see you got stuck in here with us Amalia, guess this gives us plenty of time and no excuse as to why we cant have that rematch" she said with a bit of a ticked off kinda smirk. She then looked to the swordsman and a smaller girl " Its not safe to have her out so far from the city....her hp can deplete if she is attacked out here...keep in mind the second floor is not opened until the the First Floor Boss is beaten, surely that wont be today in this chaos" . Normally Kaliska wont concern herself with others but being so family oriented she could tell the swordsman and girl were family. Just by how he was trying to guard and defend her, guess it hit a soft spot with in the hard shell she bares. She then looked back at amalia " So how about it, shall we risk it all here and pray on the mercy of each others morality or would you like me to drag you back to the starting city myself?"

He kept his sharp eyes locked on Amalia, "There is none in the game currently that could match me in battle." He said narrowing his eyes some, then stood there silently for several moments before slowly lowering his katana to his side. Before resheathing it on the back of his waist, "I will have her claim the quests and I'll kill whatever is needed for it, so she'll get the full experience for it." Dennenth said, keeping himself between Soleil and Amalia. Before Kaliska came into view, he sensed her presence. A special trait given to him by his gear, he looked over towards her slightly as she stepped into view.

He listened to what she said to Amalia, then looked at her as she spoke to him. "I was enroute to the next major city before she ran into me." Dennenth said motioning towards Amalia with a slight wave of his hand, he then turned back to Soleil kneeling in front of her. "Let's keep moving." He said to her, Soleil nodded her head to him. He then turned so she could climb up onto his back, he stood up getting a better hold on Soleil. He then looked back at Kaliska and Amalia, "I will slaughter the first floor boss after clearing as many quests as possible for Soleil, don't get in my way when that time comes." He said to the two of them darkly, before turning and running off down the path again, with Soleil on his back.

"Watch that pride and arrogance of yours. Just because I won't kill you doesn't mean no one else will try. You're going to need more than your own skill to survive in this world, you're going to need allies. Best to start picking up a positive attitude before someone decides they don't wanna play fair." It was a fair point. Unlike most assassins in Beta, he'd given strong, honorable souls like the Swordsman a chance to defend against him in a duel. Full depletion, of course, to keep up with his contract, but a chance. Here though, with this no longer being a game, no one could risk that. So murders would be... just that. Probably a paralize potion, a sword to the back, and it'd be over. Inelegant, but effective.

On some level he had to appriciate Dennenth's devotion to family. The loving bond of brother and sister. Something he'd never feel. Still, such a bond was going to be used against him, and his arrogance would kill her if he did not learn to humble himself in this death game. "BE sure your pride doesn't kill her, there's a shortage of pretty women in this game. Would be terrible to lose one." Flirting? No, an observation. One likely to rouse the ire of the Swordsman, but if worst came to worst, he knew he could outrun him.

Now Kaliska, the DRagon Baroness as he had labeled her (as her sword seemed to have a dragon wing, and her apparel reminded him of a baroness). She wanted a rematch, another prideful soul. Perhaps she valued her STR as he did his AGI, which was something he could well understand. However her desire to remain 'the best' would not help here. He knew he had been lucky, after his exp loss attempting to duel the Swordsman he had been assigned to kill her. Recieved his the money for his current apparel if he remembered correctly. Calmly he spoke to her, keeping his knife in hand for emergency use. "Surely, Kaliska, you wouldn't be so foolish as to understand the severity of the situation? If the Beta testers begin fighting one another, possibly killing each other, the chaos we see now would be merely a prelude to the massacre that would follow."
