No matter how many times she had done it, she never failed to feel embarrassed afterward for how strange she must look to others. Letting out a sigh, she turned off her camera and grabbed her phone and laptop, slipping them into her bag.
Aurora was barely ever on time, that was a true fact. As she sprinted down the street to get to work, she struggled to avoid the newly made ice patches. Her boss was thankfully lenient, but every time she checked in late he always looked at her with a sort of disappointment. Reaching the doors of the cafe, she yanked them open and jumped inside, shivering a bit from the cold. Looking up, she saw her co-worker giggling, "Not bad Ro, only 2 minutes late today." she commented. Aurora parted her lips into a smile before going to the back to change her clothing.
Standing behind the counter, Aurora took out her phone to send a group text to the others:

Jake just got out of work for lunch and was leaving the office building, a stack of papers in hand as he walked to the car. He opened the passenger side door and placed his stack of papers down before he headed towards the driver side. He gasped as he felt a snowball hit him and explode and he quickly looked back, frowning. There were a couple kids giggling and running away. Jake rolled his eyes and he got into his car and closed the door, buckling himself up. He felt his cell phone vibrate and he pulled out his phone and checked the message seeing it was from his best girl-friend Aurora. Jake smirked and then sent a message back

I just got my hour and a half long break, I am on my way now.
Once he sent the message, he turned on his car and drove to the cafe. He parked and got out, heading inside. He huffed out and rubbed his hands together to warm them up, blowing on them as he nodded to the workers and went to the register and got himself a large hot vanilla latte and then made his way to a table and he plopped down, placing his drink on the table. God, it was so cold outside, but he loved the winter.

She shot a sweet smile to the daughters as she handed them each a small mug of hot chocolate. She tucked the tray under her arm as she returned to the counter to deliver the next order. Her eyes shot up as she heard the door open, seeing Jake walk in from the cold. She grinned as two others appeared after him, Cedric and Angie. That was four of the eight already there, now she was just waiting on the others. She giggled in excitement, ready to pitch her idea to the group.
She placed the two orders from her friends on her tray, approaching them smoothly. "Here you go. One hot chocolate and one iced coffee." she said, placing the drinks in front of Cedric and Angie. Tucking the tray under her arm again, she placed her other hand on her hip as she examined the group, "Ahhh what's taking the rest of them? I can't wait to tell my idea." she whined playfully, glancing at the door. ⊹⊱⋛⋋ ⋌⋚⊰⊹
