Candour's New Skills:• ASL (American Sign Language)
Candour learnt ASL by observing Amarantha when she talked to other people. He honed this skill in secret and, whilst it is by no means as beautiful as Amarantha makes it look, Candour is still a very competant signer and translator. He is hoping that by learning ASL the American Sign Language that he may also learn it's British counterpart BSL.
• "Scar-y Sense" (Amarantha Perception)
"Scar-y Sense" is a term given to Candour's unnatural ability to sense Amarantha's presence by Nigel (A.K.A: "Squirt"). Candour can "feel" Amarantha's presence a lot more violently than other Demigods because whenever she is near him he can feel the scars that litter his body writhe and throb. Candour thinks this is Ama's Mother Nemesis acting through her and reminding Candour that he has got "less than he deserves".
A NEW WEAKNESS:• Bollock Shots
Apparently, it doesn't matter how strong you are or how much punishment you can take elsewhere on you body - being kicked in the testicles will always hurt. Instead of "Achilles' Heel", it's "Candour's Balls".
NEW RELATIONSHIPSThese probably don't need your approval and I haven't actually added them to the profile but I thought I should let you know. Each one has a brief summary in brackets.
- Amarantha (Sister like one of the only people apart from Imogen and Hazel who see his softer side. Because they are both outcasts)
- Nigel (Nicknamed "Squirt". Nigel is a prime example of a member of his Cohort that he will desperately try to protect. Candour, Nigel and Amarantha often roll around as a little group - more becase Ama wants to keep them close rather than choice. If Candour had his way he would keep his distance from Nigel, not only protecting him from the danger that the Centurion wrought upon himself, but also to teach him independence. Candour has taken Nigel under his wing when it comes to his training though and pushes him extra hard.)
