_______________________________________________________________
The kingdom of Hyrule has been at lasting peace for the past
century, and the economy is bustling. Because of the Royal Family's
reign over the land, all people have been allowed free roam of the entire
kingdom without limitations. This has lead to countless opportunistic
adventuring possibilities, as well as ample land to settle in.
This story follows the lives of those living in Hyrule, but will not focus on
the canon storyline. All characters will be original, and roles will be
available for several different occupations, including royalty.
Locations

Hyrule Field
Large, grassy area that composes most of Hyrule. It is the central region that leads to all of the prominent locations of the kingdom. Stray animals and travelers alike roam free throughout the open field
-Lon Lon Ranch
A small farm located in the center of Hyrule Field. It is built upon a plateau like structure and is surrounded by a wooden fence. Mostly famous for its exports of milk, though it is also the main producer/breeder of horses in Hyrule.
Hyrule Castle Town
Bustling metropolis where Hylians go to engage in business and trade and, as such, it is considered to be one of the liveliest towns in Hyrule. The population is mostly Hylian, but Gorons also commonly occupy the streets in hopes to sell their wares. The city is home to dozens of shops and restaurants, as well as market stalls. Surrounded by castle style walls, its main method of protection is the large moat surrounding the city. Access to the city is granted via drawbridge, and is only operated during the daytime hours.
-Hyrule Castle
Located in the center of Castle Town, serves as the home of the Royal Family and other nobles in the kingdom. People wishing to speak to the Royal Family travel to the castle to do so, but sometimes people are summoned to the castle to serve a duty for the family.
Kokiri Forest
A small village inhabited by the Kokiri folk, as well as their guardian spirit, the Great Deku Tree. Located in the eastern section of Hyrule, it also connects to the Lost Woods to the east, and the Zora's Fountain to the north. It is said that no Kokiri can ever leave the woods, though history tells of some who have. The forest itself is a pleasant village filled with tree-houses. There are a few small shops, but the central attraction is the Great Deku Tree's meadow.
-Lost Woods
A maze-like forest of confusing forests, sure to make anyone who enters to become irreversibly lost, and the only way to exit the forest is by navigating it in specific directions. If anyone gets lost or wander for too long in the forest, they turn into a Skull Kid (if they are a child), a Stalfos (if they're an adult), or a Deku Scrub. Most Kokiri choose to avoid the lost woods, and dubbed it so due to it's dangerous nature.
Kakariko Village
Large settlement said to have been founded by the Sheikah, and was once their village exclusively before their matriarch opened it up to the common people. The town graveyard is known to be the final resting place of the members of the Royal Family and deceased Zora leaders, as well as other nobles. Located in the northeastern portion of Hyrule, right next to Castle Town, at the foothills of Death Mountain.
Death Mountain
Death Mountain is home to the Gorons, a peaceful race of people who eat rocks and are exceptionally good at forging blades, among them Biggoron, a giant goron who lives at the volcanic mountain's peak. It can only be reached via a gate in Kakariko Village. It is said that the state of the mountain is reflected by the clouds surrounding the peak: if they look normal, then Death Mountain is at peace. Famous for it's luxurious hot springs.
Zora's Domain
Home to the aquatic Zora people, the domain consists of large cavernous area mostly filled with water, with a large waterfall flowing from the top into the lower area. Its source of water comes from Zora's Fountain. The only ways to access the domain is from the river or from a secret entrance hidden underwater in Lake Hylia.
Lake Hylia
The largest body of water in Hyrule, located in the southern region of Hyrule. Home to the sunken Water Temple, which is used by the Zoras to worship the water spirits. The lake is made up of various islands, with the largest one bearing a lone tree. Hotspot for fishing and swimming alike.
Gerudo Valley
Blisteringly hot valley located in the northwest corner of Hyrule. It leads to the Gerudo's Fortress, home of the proud female warrior race of Gerudo. Beyond lies the Haunted Wasteland, a harsh and unforgiving desert. Zora's River passes through the bottom of the valley, whose water-flow ultimately leads to Lake Hylia.
-Gerudo Fortress
Also known as the Thieves' Hideout, is located at the far end of Gerudo Valley and is the gateway to the Haunted Wasteland. It serves as the hideout for the race of thieves known as the Gerudo, who heavily guard the entire fortress. As such, any trespassers will be immediately caught and thrown into a cell high above the complex.

Races
Hylian
Creatures that worship the goddess Hylia, from which their name derives, the original race of Hyrule. Physically, Hylians resemble other humans, and the only difference appearance-wise between them is the Hylians' long, elf-like ears that supposedly enable them to hear special messages from the goddesses. It is shown that Hylians have an extended life-span, to the point of living for centuries. Their heritage also gives them unique psychic and magical abilities
Sheikah
The Sheikah are an ancient clan of ninja-like warriors sworn to protect the Royal Family of Hyrule, even after death; as such they came to be known as "the Shadows of the Hylians". They are skilled in magical and combative art. It is assumed that many died during the Hyrulean Civil War and are considered almost extinct now. The physical appearance of the Sheikah is similar to that of the Hylians; only being distinguished by their tan skin and red-colored eyes.
Kokiri
A cautious, child-like and secretive race native to Kokiri Forest. The Kokiri believe that they will die if they leave Kokiri Forest, and therefore, they usually never leave the safe haven and know very little about the outside world. All Kokiri are ageless, although they appear as Hylian children. Each Kokiri has a guardian fairy that functions as a friend, parent and teacher. The Kokiri are known as "the spirits of the forest" and were likely created by the Great Deku Tree.
Zora
Zoras are aquatic, blue-skinned humanoid creatures. They are incredibly skilled natural swimmers. The appearance of Zoras can vary greatly; some are large and round, while others are slender and small.
They are generally covered in silver scales, which give them a pale blue sheen from a distance, and have dark blue spots on their extremities. Average Zoras have rear-hanging caudal extensions on their heads shaped like the tails of dolphins. These tails undulate periodically, which gives a Zora's head the unique semblance of a fish.
Goron
A humanoid, rock-eating race that dwell in the mountains. Despite their hulking appearance, Gorons are a relatively peaceful species. They are usually considered, perhaps superficially, to be of low intelligence, although there is no particular indication of this. Gorons are physically imposing, as the height and sheer size of the average Goron are almost double that of an average human. They are presumably silicon-based due to a strict diet of rocks and, possibly as a result, they develop rocky growths on their backs as they age.
Gerudo
Reclusive tribe of thieves that consists entirely of women; however, every hundred years, a man who is destined to be their king is born. Because of this, it is rumored that they sometimes have relations with Hylian men. They typically have dark tanned skin, golden or brown eyes and red or black hair. Gerudo warriors frequently wield glaive-like weapons and scimitars. Highly mastered in sword fighting, Gerudo women are both beautiful and deadly.
