----Basic Information----
Mind behind the Character: MaxTheReaper13
Name: Keiko Himura
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Personality: Keiko is what one might call "an old soul." She is contemplative and level-headed, studious and analytical. This is not to say she is cold or distant with her peers. While she is mature and wise, she finds great comfort in relaxing with close friends, joking and just having a good old time. Naturally, however, she can become terse when dealing with flat-out stupidity, ignorance, or just rudeness. As calm as she is, she is not one to back down from a challenge or an argument; she is prideful to a fault and, to be blunt, takes no crap from anyone. Known to few, if any at all, Keiko is somewhat of a closet pervert, but would never admit to such a thing.
History:
From the moment she was born, everyone in Keiko's village knew she was something... special. At least some chose to see it that way. The high priest of their small town anointed her as some kind of blessed child with her white hair and rose-pink eyes. Her parents liked to call her their "lucky little rabbit." Others in their village saw her stark white hair and almost bloody eyes as a sign of misfortune- she wasn't blessed, they insisted, but cursed. A demon's child.
No matter which of the two the children at her school believed, she was bullied either way. Whether due to jealousy for being the town's "lucky little rabbit," as had caught on through the years, or being scared of her piercing eyes and snowy hair. When she was younger, she was a pacifist, which only made it easier for her school mates to bring harm upon her. Humiliated, bruised and cut, isolated from her peers. After a few years, it became too much for Keiko to excuse.
That's when the incident happened.
She was only twelve years old when she discovered her abilities. It was after school one dreary, rainy afternoon on her way home. Keiko had no idea she was being followed until she saw a shadow engulf hers on the ground at her feet. In seconds she found herself on her knees in the mud, her back aching from the shove she'd received. The older boys began to mock her mercilessly, calling her hateful name's like "rodent child" and "the local rabid." One of them yanked on her lovely white locks until her scalp ached, and the other wondered how "pretty" people would think her eyes would look after being blackened by his fists.
For Keiko, this was the final straw. She reached up with both hands to tear and rip at her attacker's wrist with her nails, only to find with horror that blood was trickling down her arm. His blood. He'd let go, and when she made distance and recovered her composure, she realized two things in succession. First, ribbons of flesh were torn on his arm, blood and tears coming from the bully. Secondly, her arms had transformed in the blink of an eye, in a flash of bright light, into long, barbed strips of metal. Some kind of whip, she realized. Without giving herself time to process or apologize, she turned on her heel and fled.
By the time she got home, she too was sobbing, her weaponized arms still hanging at her sides. Sobbing and hiccuping, she had no idea how to change them back to normal. Her parents came bounding into the room when they heard her shrill cries for their help, and they were as shocked and scared as she was. Not only did they see the awful, metallic malformation, they saw the blood dripping from the blades where her hands should've been. The days of the "lucky little rabbit" had come to an end, and now even the high priest of the village had turned against her.
Keiko and her family had to flee their little town, so ignorant of the ways of Weapons and Meisters. They travelled in search of answers to her ailment, maybe even a cure. To their dismay, they found no such thing, but they did hear tell of a special place exactly for people just like their daughter: The DWMA. By that time, Keiko was ten years old and had just enough control to keep from morphing into a full-on weapon. Still, she knew what she was capable of, and became reserved and incredibly cold for a long while. If she had learned anything, it was that the root of her transformation was emotion, so she rid herself of both.
Within a week of learning of the DWMA, its purpose, proprietor and location, the Himura family booked their flight to Death City and enrolled their daughter. At first her adaption to her new school and town was slow going, distrustful of all the people now so interested in the very thing that had gotten her driven out of her hometown. It didn't help that she spoke little English at the time, and could hardly understand, let alone trust, what was being said to her. Finally she was coaxed by one of her teachers to reveal her weapon form, the chain-sword sprouting from her shoulders as it had so long ago.
By the end of her first year of training at the DWMA, Keiko had learned to change in and out of her forms at will, and to perform autonomously as a weapon. At the time she was fifteen. She had even learned the three different forms of her weapon, what her teacher had decided to call "The Briar's Blade": a whip that could be straightened in a sturdy, standard long sword, and when curled could be thrown as a kind of discus.
Now that Keiko is seventeen, she has fully acclimated to life at the DWMA. Her parents went back to living in Japan after she got settled on her own, and come to visit her on the holidays. Keiko has made friends and risen gradually in the ranks of her classmates, both academically and on the field, but she still lacks one important factor to her success as a weapon: a Meister. It is the one thing holding her back above all else, but she is also aware of how difficult it is to resonate with someone who has become so accustomed to working and functioning alone.

Hana Himura ----- Mother
Yoshi Himura ----Father
Occupation: Student, cafe barista
Weapon Form: Three-form chainsword
DWMA: 3rd year
Partner: N/A
----Abilities and Techniques Information----
Tri-Form
-Keiko's weapon form has three different functions: a basic long-sword, a bladed whip for longer range with more control, and a tightly wound disc to be thrown sparingly as a projectile.
-She is able to conjure her weapon form autonomously in three different ways respective to its three different functions. Her arms can transform into the bladed whips; the sword blades appear on her knuckles, like miniature claws; lastly, the discs appear at her shoulder blades, usually to escape a grapple or catch an attacker from behind off guard.
Bramble Barricade
-When her abilities are combined with a powerful and experienced Meister, their resonance can extend and shape the abilities of her whip-form in such a way that it forms a small, spherical barrier around the two. However, this ability must be used sparingly, as it both drains Keiko's energy, as well as requires a lot of time and focus to actually manage.
Petal Shower
- When her discus form is thrown, it will shatter and send the blades scattering at the opponent/s. The drawback of this is that it will immediately force Keiko out of her weapon form, and possibly put the Meister in harm's way as well.
Snakes in the Thornbush
-Her ultimate offense is the ability to produce multiple chain-sword blades in the whip form from the hilt each able to move independently of the others. This is only accomplishable with the intimate resonance of a trusted partner, and is the only ability that she has yet to fully achieve while training with her teachers.
