Jake was standing in front of the body length mirror as he was putting on his purplish scarf. He wore on a long sleeved shirt that had white and black diamond patterns on the torso portion of his shirt, then he wore light colored blue jeans and a belt with a large rectangular buckle in the front that showed. On his right rist he wore two black bracelets. Then on his feet he wore black shoes that had white trim on them. They were nice and expensive. His favorite taste of course. The male soon reached up and ran a hand through his soft yet styled hair. He smelled like really good cologne and had a bit of scruff on his face. Though it definitely added to his look and most girls liked that.
Jake rummaged through his things and put two flashlights, batteries, a camera, his phone, his charger, a blanket, a small pillow, an extra jacket, a pair of clothes for the morning and then some water and snacks into a backpack. If he were staying the night in a weird place he was going to take some things. He soon pushed sunglasses onto his face and headed out of his apartment. He was going to meet up with his friends. Yesterday him and his absolutely enemy, ________, were dared to stay the night in the supposed haunted house. He thought it was a complete lie honestly. He thought people just made up some ridiculous story to scare one another. Nobody ever dared to enter the house and supposedly the story is if anyone went into the house then they don't come back out.
He walked down the side walk a few blocks and soon saw his five friends standing around and chatting. The house could be seen up on a hill, where him and _________ would be going to stay the night. "Alright guys. We just need to hurry up and get this crap done with." He let out in an annoyed tone.
"Are you worried?" His friend Jared asked.
Jake scoffed, "Not in the slightest. I don't believe the stories. They are just make believe stories that kids use to scare themselves." He stated with a shrug of his shoulders.
"You never know... We will keep track of the time you go in, in case you guys go missing." One of the other friends, Bethany, said.
