For ages the House Roarenson has produced many great Lords of the North. They are one of the most sought after allies in all of the land due to their warriors and their strength. For as long as anyone can remember, the Northern Lords of Theodell have kept the beasts and ghouls of the Tundra at bay. Their army is only rivaled by that of the Faledrake House in the South. A select few members of the Faledrake family have tamed and ridden dragons for generations, incorporating the creatures into their own military. The two Houses have held an uneasy alliance for centuries, through marriage and treaties. The other Houses have begun trying to worm their way into their own alliances with these two great forces, however, disrupting the already tense relations between the Roarensons and the Faledrakes.
Beyond the North, in the far reaches of the Tundra, lies another force. Rebels plotting outside the hold of the Lords of the land to disband the class-system altogether, and create an equal and peaceful world.
Will you join the rebels in the fight against the ruling class? Or will you try to gain power in one of the ruling Houses? The choice is yours -- choose wisely.

Rules -- [also on Profile page] *Note: Please send all skeletons to me in a PM, and do not post anything until you see your character is up!*
>> I would prefer everyone to use photos of real people, rather than anime, if possible. (I'm pretty OCD, and so I like to keep things consistent!)
>> Any questions, please feel free to ask! I'm pretty easy going, so if you have some idea or anything that you aren't sure about, by all means, give it a shot!
>> NO godmodding. Your character cannot be the best at everything, and cannot be above MY rules as creator of this RP.
>> This is going to be a "Game of Thrones"-style RP, but keep the violence/romance/cursing/etc within the rules of the guild.
>> It was noted that Dragon Warriors exist in House Faledrake -- These will be limited, as it will be a rare post, and almost entirely within the family.
>> Please write at least three sentences per post, and no text talk.

♔ █ front of Raorenson Castle. & ♔ █ family for goodbye.
I ᶜᵃᶰ ᵒᶰˡʸ ᵖʳᵃʸ ᵗᵒ ᵗʰᵉ ᵍᵒᵈˢ˒ ᶰᵉʷ ᵃᶰᵈ ᵒˡᵈˑ▬ let me forget. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Today was undoubtedly the day. Pressing a nervous palm to her gut full of all spells of emotions, she had to remember that this was her idea. Taking a soft in take of breathe through colored lips, she steadied her eyes and took her probably last walk through Castle Raorenson's walls. She was to be taken and given to her fiance's heir of far too many years. Rosina knew whatever past was behind her now were going to have to not matter, the closeness she had taken as her most guarded treasure, she was going to have to leave it. She would have to come back, right? Her youngest sister's birthday was coming up, surely she would ... What if he did not let her? This unknown man. She hard heard so little about him, even through letters she felt a lack of interest. Not including her most recent, demanding letter to the heir of Wykeham. Truly, Rosina had waited long enough. She wasn't just some locked away princess waiting for this cross lion never to beckon her. Perhaps he had another lover and there was just no need for her.
Thoughts were drilling even if she seemed composed. As she passed faces she had come to know and love so much, she couldn't help the slow glaze of moisture filling over her eyes. Bringing a quick back of her hand under her nose, she sniffed slightly and smiled lovingly to a maid that handed her a cloth. Keep it in. Rosina straightened up and shook her head towards the offered favor. "Thank you, Grace." She paused before reaching out and letting her fingers pinch into the girl that shared her age's hard working hands. "I'm alright." She had to be, this princess of the North was soon to be a wife of a Lion. Rosina would have to try her hardest to keep her emotions held tight as clamped iron if she was going to be able to handle this foreseen mystery.
When she finally go to the entrance of the castle, her hands were squeezed so tight on one another seeing the line up waiting for her as well as the carriage that would take her away. She was happy to see her friend, who thankfully would be accompanying her. Sensing her worry, she smiled with a gratitude she would need not even a second later after that swaying carriage started moving. Her father had a satisfied, over the top smile on his face, sure it was from the marriage that would come soon after. Every father wished to see his daughter married and taken care of.
As she hurried in a fast walk, she hugged her open armed mother. Her arms held her so tight. "You'll be okay." She cooed at her, like she was still a child. Smoothing her back, Rosina laughed into her mother's raven hair and gave her a confident 'silly, you' look. "Of course, this will be," she looked away for a moment to steal another glance of her family to glue to memory before nodding once courtly, "a very fun adventure." At that, the king held his first little girl as Rosina choked up a harsh laugh.
She hugged each one of her family members, closer, and closer, she felt her lip wiggle a bit. As she crouched to hug her younger sister and curled her finger through her hair and made it bounce, she spoke to the little sad faced one. "Write me. Every day." Rosina pressed her nose to hers before kissing the child's forehead. Standing taller, she shared other hugs of goodbye, the chalking silence enough to make her cry alone. She went to her oldest brother - ah, the tears were surely going to fall. "Hadrian," she made a miserable expression as she locked her fingers so tightly at his back as she buried her face into his chest. He was the strong one, always, and he had been a great teacher from the beginning, but to not possibly see him again. Her heart felt like it was being ripped at the heartstrings. Sniffling, she closed her eyes gently and shook slightly before taking a step back and wiping her eyes. "Take care of them." Her eyes begged and were damp, but she wouldn't let a tear fall. Not until she in that carriage. As she scanned all, her eyes lingered and found Leo, she loosened it seemed from the chest up. Smiling weakly, she pointed at him with a lightness to this sad day. "Especially that one." There was a moment of humor, but she had to hurry and make as much as the light as she could. At the sound of the horse whinnying, she broke eye contact with Leo, blinking away an emotion the fool could not ever see. She loved him, but she would have to let him go, this endless banking to side to side would have to cease.
Smiling around, she walked toward the open door waving and blowing kisses at her family, her father helping her into the carriage before kissing her hand. Rosina took a seat seat as the door closed. "Safe trip." Her eyes kept a struggling this way and that to all their faces. "I'll miss you, I love you!" She laughed as the king was having one more short talk with the guards. Locking eyes with Leo, her eyes waned, and slowly, her lips moved regretfully, she had to say it. Even if he would never understand. "I love you all." The carriage started to move then and Rosina brought her head back into the carriage. The weight inside her chest was crushing her, but she was not as much as a wreck as she had forseen herself as. Slowly, she placed her head onto her last loveline to her home and cried gently as the carriage kicked and rumbled from the rocky road ahead.

Leo had been out hunting all morning to ease his mind. That was what he always did to calm his nerves. Being in the forest made him feel free and relaxed. There were none of the pressures that existed inside the walls of Castle Roarenson. It was only Leo, his bow, and the natural world. He had spent most of the time hunting a particular deer, but when he had finally caught up to the beast a rustling on the other side of the clearing had scared the creature away. He let out a heavy sigh and he knew by looking to the sky that he didn't have the time to track the animal further. Bow in hand, the young man had begun his short trek back to the Castle. He knew that if he was late, the Roarenson's would not be happy with him -- one Roarenson in particular. The one that was the sole reason he had to be back in time, and also the reason he had been out in the forest all morning. His dear friend Rosie was leaving them, making the long journey to Hafaleil in only a few short hours.
He and Rosie had grown quite close over the many years he had been living with the Roarensons. She was very dear to him, and the thought of never seeing her again troubled him. He knew that she had not been pleased about her promised marriage to the Wykeham boy. He wanted to be able to do something for her, but he knew that there was nothing to be done. Once Lord Roarenson had made a decision, there was rarely any changing his mind. Leo knew that the man was only trying to do what was best, but he didn't like that that decision had to affect Rosie in such a way.
Needless to say, Leo had been shocked to hear that Rosie had taken it upon herself to move her engagement forward, with how little he had thought she cared for the idea. He had to support her though, for he wanted her to be happy. So now, as he once again entered the walls of the familiar Castle with a curt nod to the guards, he tried to let the worry for his friend disappear from his face.
After a quick stop in his rooms to drop off his bow and quiver, Leo went back to the courtyard to join the rest of the household. Everyone was lined up, waiting to say their goodbyes. The youngest Roarenson girl looked about ready to burst into tears, but was doing a reasonable job holding them in. He and Hadrian shared a sad smile, before his friend's attention was taken away by Lord Roarenson. Finally, Rosie appeared embracing her mother and father first. Leo couldn't help but roll his eyes as she told her mother that it would be like an adventure. He couldn't imagine that that was really how she felt about it. Rosie's sister was next, and Leo was impressed that the girl was able to keep it together through the goodbyes. When Rosie approached Hadrian a few hugs later, he even thought the eldest son might cry at his sister's departure.
Leo hadn't really been paying attention to what anyone was saying throughout the ordeal, until suddenly he was pointed at with a weak smile. He returned the smile, forcing his to be a bit brighter. "You don't think I can take care of myself?" He asked in mock hurt. "You should really give me more credit." He gave her a wink, living up to his usual standard of being able to make light of serious situations, even if he didn't feel quite right about it on the inside. He held Rosie's gaze until she turned away, letting his easy smile fall away again.
As Rosie disappeared into the carriage with a last loving statement towards the group of them, Leo couldn't help but feel a bit of a pang in his heart. He might never see this girl who had been like family to him again. As the rest of the family began to disperse, back off to whatever they had been doing before, to try and act like this sad event had not just taken place, Leo stayed a moment longer. In a split decision, he went racing after the carriage that had not yet reached it's full speed. He caught up to it as it slowed further on a bend in the road. "Rosie! Hold on!" He called out as he came up just behind it. The carriage slowed to a stop -- after all, Leo was still considered a Noble to the carriage drivers. He stopped running outside the door to the carriage, leaning up against the side for a moment in order to catch his breath while he waited for her to open the door again. It would surely be something a person would get banished- or even beheaded for. Which was why, Mitre decided to leave in the dead of night to never return. Of course Nerva may have thought otherwise to leave with the girl, but he was bound to her whim and leading order. Such a noble dragon with great loyalty. Mitre would have it no other way. Of course her mother would strongly disagree and would have both of their heads if she were to ever find them again. A risk the girl was going to make to no end. Exhaling and walking along the path far from home, she seemed to just follow her best instincts to just make as much distance from herself and her home as much as possible. xxxRemembering one of the many reasons she left made her cringe. Being nearly forced into a marriage with a rather... interesting fellow, made the girl shake her head with much disapproval. She knew that her mother wanted each of her siblings to wed and bare children in order to continue the family name and grace, was not something she wanted to do. In fact she had even hidden the fact that when she had come around to the time in her life where it meant she could bare children from her mother. Mitre was able to do it for some time, until one of her sisters decided to squeal on her since she had made a mess one morning. to say the least, her mother was furious with her. It still didn't help her though, it only meant that she was to be wed off quicker before she would no longer be able to. xxxMitre took a minute from her walking, she made her way towards a tree cover before taking a seat and leaning her back against it. pulling her spear to her side, the girl exhaled coolly before tilting her head further to the side to pop her neck. A long journey it had been- since she refused to have Nerva assist her now since guards from Miasmador would be searching the skies for them- hopefully if they did see Nerva, they would think he went rouge and left Mitre to herself. One could only hope though. Stretching out her arms and rolling the joints in her shoulders in a therapeutic stretch, she leaned further into the earth below her. Inhaling softly, her smile returned to her face with the familiar smell of the damp earth below her. How wonderful it was. Reaching over, Mitre dug her fingers into the cold earth before pulling up a clump of soil. Running the grits through her fingers she then tossed it down before closing her eyes for a brief moment. ▬▬▬▬ι═══════════════ﺤ

♔ █ Road to Wykeham. ♔ █ Emma and Leo.
I ᶜᵃᶰ ᵒᶰˡʸ ᵖʳᵃʸ ᵗᵒ ᵗʰᵉ ᵍᵒᵈˢ˒ ᶰᵉʷ ᵃᶰᵈ ᵒˡᵈˑ▬ let me forget. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Her cheeks felt damp as she lifted her heavy head away from Emma's darling and needed shoulder, she wouldn't let go of her friend's hands, she needed her as her anchor now more than ever. Sniffling, she shared a blurry eyed laugh, this was ridiculous, she was crying like a miserly old woman. Her voice had a breaking softness. "Oh, Em. I hope I am making the right choice." She slowly took in a slow breath and peered her melting brown eyes to the forest in the distance as the carriage shook with her reverberating heart. No, she had to find reassurance. Ripping her eyes away from the woods, it was too much. The pine, the smell of adventure - all were reminders of Leo. He was almost as wild and temperament as the forest itself, unclaimed. Looking forward to the seat in front of her, she softly closed her damp lashes and pursed her lips. I need to forget, this very moment. They were memories of a child's fluttery heart, never ventured, nothing gained. He was betrothed to her sister, worse thoughts were aching out to her, but she froze herself to the pain. Forget. Her bottom lip was taken in as she squeezed her eyes shut, but out of rattling of horse hooves and the rickety carriage, she heard his voice pierce straight through. He called out to her name, and at once her eyes hit the bank of the shore jumping open full of recall and pure shock.
Smoothing over to the window as the carriage started to slow, she saw him running so fast, the glare of determination to catch up to her made her chest tight in a snap of a thread. Her hand rushed to the handle, her face in anguish. He had most likely not like how she had meekly said goodbye. Would it be truly goodbye? It would. Or maybe it didn't have too. She could - the thought she stopped it from flowing, but her heart's thundering cry was too harsh not to listen.
She thought of it, and in that moment she flew from the cage of commitment.
Throwing open the door and tackling this chivalrous stupid fool straight into the dirt, but she was pinned between a bridge of duty and her heart. To be the grown up she should be, be a queen to two nations and have them reign in harmony. Her tears had sucked straight back into their ugly source and with a panic in her eyes as she hesitantly looked over her shoulder to Emeline, she whispered gently. "I ... just need a minute. A - Awhile - -" She was suddenly a wild banshee of energy, the door of the carriage swung open so violently, it probably chipped the wood, but as she swooped out of the carriage, nearly falling in a ungraceful plop before him, her eyes were energized, crazed at her own craziness most likely and biting her bottom lip, she grabbed Leo's hand and took off across the clearing. As she ran, the grass licked at her frolicking skirts, a bubbly feeling in her chest as she kept running, her goal was the pine. Even as guards chased after them, in confusion and disarray, Emeline knew. She just needed a little bit more time. Rosina didn't stop until they were far in the depth. her lungs had never felt so strained and so reeling in joy for listening to her dearest wish - to just run away with him. Releasing Leo's hand, she walked in a slight circle trying to cool down, her chest wanting to burst out of her corset and keep running, but the delight on her face, laughing as she pressed back strands of her raven hair that had fallen in every direction out of her braided design, was ethereal.
Outrageous. It would simply be the talk of the castle, she ran away, her, the eldest from everything. Huffing, she put her hands on her hips and finally laid her eyes on him. Her skin felt on fire and sweat of the run had flushed her, but she could not be embarrassed. As she stared, her eyes weakened tremendously, her head tilting to one side with a shake, she couldn't help but wish the reason to his sudden coming after her. Her smile vanished for a moment, staring straight to his soul. "Why did you come, Leo?"

location: just outside the Tundra|company: an unexpected traveler|ooc: ... Terryn walked through the cold Northern forest, gloved hands stuffed into the pockets of his long red jacket, sword at his side. He wasn't generally too worried about keeping up his arms, as people rarely ventured this far into the forest near the Tundra. If they were closer to Theodell, then the eldest Wykeham boy might be more worried about an encounter, but out here on the opposite edge of the North, there was not much activity. No one really knew about the Rebels just yet -- they hadn't made any large moves, so an attack against them wasn't a worry as of now. Terryn was mostly patrolling for stragglers, or anyone that might be seeking them out. A hushed word of the growing rebellion in the Tundra had trickled further and further out, now that they had some semblance of a sizable force, and new people were looking to meet with them all the time.
When Terryn had almost gone far enough to justify turning back around, he heard something nearby. A rustling and an exhale that sounded quite human. Putting his hand to his sword, but keeping it sheathed, he moved closer, peeking around the trees to get a better look. In the distance, there was a girl stretching herself out at the edge of the forest. She looked tough, but Terryn relaxed a bit. Mostly, he only cared that she was alone, and that she wasn't anyone he recognized. He was often worried that there were still men from Theodell searching for him, and that one of them would happen to venture this far out. Of course, he had made sure to leave something for the lot of them to run into, trying to stop them from going any further into the Tundra. He had never been able to find out whether or not the ploy had worked, though.
With a sigh, Terryn took his hand off of his sword and moved closer to the girl, crossing his arms. "Hello there, miss. Are you lost?" He asked the girl. That was the only reason he could think of that a girl around his age might be out here alone. Unless she was looking for the Rebels, but he knew better than to be the one to bring them up first. He stopped walking a few feet away from her, keeping his distance to avoid making the girl feel threatened.

Leo waited, momentarily worried that Rosie wasn't going to come out of the carriage. Had he just chased her down for nothing? However, he heard her voice inside, just before the door flung open violently. He had to jump to the side to keep from being hit by the force of it. He expected to have to come to her, say what he had to say with Emeline and the carriage drivers around them, so he was surprised when she stepped out of the carriage and landed quite ungracefully before him. He was even more surprised when, without a word or a pause, the girl grabbed hold of his hand and raced towards the forest. He had no trouble keeping up with her as she went, but he let her lead the way until she decided to stop, laughing the bubbly laugh that he suddenly realized he hadn't heard from her in what seemed like quite some time.
Her joy, he found, was contagious, and soon he was laughing with her, bent forward with his hands on his knees to catch his breath. Leo shook his head, as if trying to dispel the last of the surprise from his mind. He was sure he would be hearing about this little snafu when he returned to the Castle, but he couldn't bring himself to care right at that second. Finally, he stood up straight, meeting her gaze to see a more stern expression as she asked him why he had come. Leo moved a bit closer, holding out his hands in a defeated gesture. He wasn't sure he could explain why he had gone after her... He just... Had. Of course, really, it had been the thought of never seeing her again that had spurred him forward. He hadn't had time to decide what he would tell her once he caught up with her -- if he caught up with her.
He had caught up with her, though, and so now he stood before his dear Rosie, struggling for what to say to her. How was he supposed to tell her that he thought she was making a mistake, leaving Theodell? He was sure that she would know what she wanted, but he just couldn't shake how unhappy Rosie had looked to be leaving. He just had to be sure before he could let her go. "Is this really what you want?" He finally spoke, returning her question with a question. He held her eyes, looking for some sign that he had been right in coming after her. Of course, he had been fairly oblivious to her love for him, but that didn't mean he couldn't tell when she was lying. Putting on a brave face. He had rescued her from far too many things not to notice when she was afraid. " ▬▬▬▬ι═══════════════ﺤ xxxThis was what life should be. Not having a sort of care ever- aside from the fact of natural born enemies, which was something that always happened. No matter though, nothing that couldn't be formally dealt with- or by force. It all depended on those who were involved in the affairs. Lords know just how it would play out if she stayed back home and the rivalries had gotten worse and worse. In all of the seven Hells, Mitre would no longer be in the area- if her mother wasn't even an obsessive prude. Such a thing to address your mother by, but it was more or less true. She figured herself that if her mother had the chance, she would have left the leading lord for another lord. For what reason? She didn't know. Running her finger tips through the soil a few more times, Mitre found it in her best interest to then fold her hands in on herself in order to keep as much warmth as she could. xxxMaybe now may have been a time to try to find Nerva, perhaps she could get him to produce a small flame- which would most likely turn to a forest fire- to keep herself warm. No, no. She mustn't show weakness to something as a bitter cold. This was nothing, this was but nature. Something that would come and go... In a long while. Slightly shuddering in attempt to get the last few chills out, Mitre snorted softly before turning her head, catching the sound of something. It was something she hadn't normally herd- and to say the least her hearing wasn't acute like some so she couldn't put her finger to just what it may have been. However, with a couple swift motions, she threw her arm to the side to pick up her spear before crouching slightly closer to the soil- but with enough distance between them if in case she needed to spring into defense. However seeing a male approach her didn't exactly move her into ease. He could be from any given place- she only hoped that it wouldn't be of any who were against her. xxx"I might ask the same of yourself." She herself questioned why she was out here when she could be stowed away either among another kingdom- or on a ship one a one way trip out f the area. Shifting on her feet to slowly stand up, her gaze never left the male, "Out of the things I could be, Lost is not one of them I assure you." It wasn't a lie- but it wasn't the truth either. She knew where she was going in a sense- but she had lost her way long ago. Standing and leaning slightly on her spear just barely pressing it into the ground, Mitre raised an eyebrow, "Quite the ways from civilization, no?" ▬▬▬▬ι═══════════════ﺤ

♔ █ Far east of Forest, near the road. ♔ █ Leo.
I ᶜᵃᶰ ᵒᶰˡʸ ᵖʳᵃʸ ᵗᵒ ᵗʰᵉ ᵍᵒᵈˢ˒ ᶰᵉʷ ᵃᶰᵈ ᵒˡᵈˑ▬ let me forget. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ There was no way she could hide her happiness. Leo had run after her and for what made her stuck on her toes in her mind to as to why. The way her eyes seemed to shine, silky from tears, surrounded by the evergreen trees. She was stuck on knowing if it was possible, could he had loved her too. Her lips parted as her breath finally began to shallow from their eccentric run away, her fault entirely. Watching as he stood, her face softened when he got closer. She waited for his answer to her question, only the forest to hear them. She wanted truth. At last, he answered, but Rosina had the urge to kick him in the knee when she heard it. He answered a question with another question.
That joy was sucked straight back in leaving her loving, expecting expression at a loss, disappointed that this wasn't what she had thought. She had let her imagination go wild. And she was embarrassed to even have the gull to think he came here for any other reason other than a friend. Rosina's hands rose up and pinned themselves together in front of her waist. Looking away from his eyes that made her quench so for a life she couldn't obtain now or never. Perhaps this was another cruel addition to her pain, but hardening her eyes, she looked back to him and had a royal dignity as she spoke to him. "It is my responsibility. Want doesn't matter...," she answered him, breaking his eyes to look to her feet. There was spite in her words, but this was the truth. A girl these days, especially a princess, couldn't wish or want in this world.
That didn't mean she couldn't enjoy her time now. Rosina smiled and her eyes darted out towards him, taking his hands with her own, she stepped closer, this warmth sorely missed between them. Ever so gently, her ruby lips graced his cheek. They lingered there in the scruff of his jaw, but taking it away, she smiled to him, her thumbs softly caressing his knuckles. "I will be alright, truly. And you will be okay as well. Take care of my family, my sister." A wisp of moisture covered her eyes as her lashes tried to push it back. She was a young beauty, a bit childish but coming to terms with it, they most likely would make a good match. The fact that was to come was a harsh reality, perhaps that was the reason she wanted to rush to find her own happiness and marriage before seeing a sight she couldn't stand. Leo had always been a delight, a gentleman, he would make any woman happy. "We should head back, before they think I've kidnapped you." She sniffed through a light laugh and patted his hand to give him comfort. It wasn't like they could just vanish and never come back.
Releasing his hands, she picked up her skirt so that it wouldn't get caught on twigs. Not that the Wykeham prince was probably in a rush to have her by his side. She took a glance around the forest enjoying the bright colors and remembering the smell. Taking a few steps towards the direction she came. "It would be nice," she whispered softly as her hand palmed at the rough wood of an oak, "if I could just run." She thought about how her first Wykeham lord vanished to the Tundra. "Think I could live out here on my own?" She was half joking, but although she loved the forest and idea of it, there were more dangers that she knew of beyond animals that would love a helpless snack. "Impossible."
She bit her nails into the wood before looking over her shoulder. As a bird sang out and its wings made noise in the treetops, Rosina was tired of holding in her feelings with him so near. In a way, she was running away from the pain of never being able to be with him. He always worried for her, but she couldn't ask to put her first. "I hope I'll see you again." Smiling sweetly, she started to step out of the treeline.
Ooc █ ; It's okay. ;D; It's going great.

Denry reached out his arms to his cousin and held her in a warm embrace just as all his other relatives did. The cousins were never close growing up together. Occasionally they would share an exchange or two about their few shared hobbies and interests, but never a heated debate or a hearty talk like his exchanges with Hadrian and sometimes Leofrick. But even though there were few words passed between them, he knew what kind of person she was and understood when there were no words that needed to be said. He was proud of her for making the decision, it is one that most people would never be able to make if they did not have her sense of duty to her family. Denry said his goodbye quickly, he knew that there were others who had a stronger bond with Rosina whom were more deserving of her attentions. He also said his farewells to Rosina's hand maiden, Emeline, whom he had enjoyed a cup of weekly tea with each Thursday morning. "Thursday tea will not be the same without my companion. I wish you well, Emma." With that, he kissed her hand and sent her off.
The carriage began rolling away and Denry almost turned his back to resume his work until he saw Leofrick rush out with Rosina from the stopped carriage and into the brush. Denry was fully aware that Leo and Rosina had some sort of relation, but this was truly an interesting development. Denry immediately shot a look at Hadrian. "Did you see that coming?" Denry didn't know if he should smile or become irritated. Whatever the case, he hoped that Leo would come back with her soon. "They better come back or I'll find Leo shoot one of his arrows up his..." Denry stopped himself, and laughed. He wasn't sure if he himself was joking or not. Surely, he had some mixed feelings about this temporary elopement. How awkward their return will be for each of them.

location: just outside the Tundra|company: an unexpected traveler|ooc: ... Terryn kept his distance from the girl as she became aware of his presence and took up a spear. He held his hands up in a gesture that said he meant no harm, and she spoke, stating that she was not actually lost like she appeared. With a raised brow he stepped forward a bit more, and leaned his back up against a tree across from her, hoping that his relaxed stance would help the girl relax a bit more. He had no intention of harming her, but of course she would be on her guard around a stranger in the woods. He chuckled lightly at her comment that he was quite far from civilization. "Not as far as you might think." He replied with a grin, but gave no more information about it than that -- he was, of course, referring to the Rebel's camp.
He stared at the dark haired girl as she rose back to a standing position, taking in her appearance before speaking again. She was relatively prepared, but didn't look as well prepared for the frigid Northern air as someone who was from this region might be. "You're not from around here, are you?" He ventured, sounding quite sure of himself -- that was often how he tried to sound, even when he had no clue what was going on. He hoped it was a confident enough statement to get the girl to admit that he was right, even though there was no way for him to be positive.
Terryn uncrossed his arms and stuffed his hands into the pockets of his jacket again, as he had done before he noticed that there was someone nearby, his back still against the tree. After a moment longer of studying the girl, he noticed that she seemed too well-dressed to be just an ordinary traveler. He was incredibly curious as to who she was, but he decided to wait to ask her that. He didn't want to seem too forward. He thought that she could be a merchant, but she didn't carry a cart or bags of goods with her.
