Personality:
Lucy is a very, very serious child. She goes at life with logic in her arsenal and an ability to debate. She will challenge almost anything at school that factually incorrect, which has made her an annoyance to her teachers and classmates. She doesn't mind doing this and actually sort of enjoys annoying her teachers. This little fact monster has a desire to become a biologist who explores the rain forests to catch and study frogs. This being said, she has a love of any sort of amphibian and spends most of her time hunting for the little creatures. She finds them, records what they look like in her "science journal" and then releases them. She knows her papa might not like her bringing back the little animals. This all adds to her perception as being a very "scientific" child.
All of this being said, she does care about other people. Even though she may seem all annoying, this is only her way of showing her enthusiasm. She wants to show other people what she cares about and wants for them to like it too. Lucy's desire to inform and share with others is genuine. It is one of those innocently annoying traits.
Lucy also has a habit of lying to make her feats seem more impressive. She'll often make up stories about "vacations" or "journeys" to exotic places that may have never happened. She might also make up things that she has done that, in fact, she has never done. This is all done with good intentions. She just wants to impress her classmates, but makes her seem more aloof.

Past:
Lucy was born to Iris and Ronan Zeal on the twenty third of September. She lived in a happy home with parents who loved her very much. Her mother, Iris, was the one to inspire the young girl's love of animals. Although she can't remember much from the first few years of her life, Lucy does remember the stories her mother used to read her before bed. Even up to the age of five, Lucy would ask her mother to read her these stories. Her favorite of which remained the stories of Beatrix Potter. One of her favorites of which being The Tale of Jeremy Fisher. Her mother used to always tell the stories using funny voices and this made Lucy laugh to no end. To this day, the Beatrix Potter collection of books remains her favorite.
Everything was fine. She got to play with her parents and in general, had a happy first five years of life. Not a day went by when she didn't smile. She wasn't nearly as serious as she would become. That all changed when she came back to the house with her father to see her mother's dead body. This sight took a very negative impact upon Lucy, who pretty much isolated herself completely after the events. She refused to leave the house or even her room. She just sat there with her collection of Beatrix Potter and tried to read them for no one. At this point in time, Lucy has mostly recovered from the death of her mother and now just tries to keep her father happy. If there is one thing she fears, it would be losing him as well.
