Hands tightened around her weapons as she held them at the ready. V'demhe had found a hunting pair of Radaku and it looked like they were quite wild. On top of that they seemed to think that Alkidike was on their menu. The idea thrilled the young blade, not that she might be eaten but that she might get a chance to stretch her muscles a bit. It had been so long since she'd fought, the battle not included since she had made sure not to actually hurt anyone then.

"Here beastie.." She crooned at the two matching charcoal creatures. The amazon bent her knees and sank into a crouch as she watched both beasts as they circled. So far they were moving as a team, making things easy for Dem. Then all of a sudden they split ways and her pure black eyes lost sight of one.

Oh well, she thought to herself, I can do this one at a time. Confidence leaked from every pore she had. As well as excitement. One leaped at her straight on and V'demhe rolled out of the way. She didn't bother with her weapons just yet for that would end the fight before it really begun and that she didn't want. Not when this was the first real time for her to get good exercise. Back on her feet she rolled her shoulders and grinned mischievously. "You can do better than that." Now she taunted the Radaku, mocking it's movements.

The creature didn't seem to understand and instead kept up the onslaught. Dem toyed with it a bit more before realizing her mistake. She'd forgotten there was a second and right now she didn't know where it was. Searching as best as she could without down right stopping her current fight, the Alkidike felt her antennae shiver. It was definitely close by and waiting to strike. So when the beast she was engaged with came at her once again V'demhe brought her blades into play and sliced into the underbelly as it went by. A fatal blow that would take a mere few minutes to end the life of the beast.

"Now where di--" Her words were intrrupted by the force of the second Radaku bearing down upon her. Dem falls froward and grunts. How stupid she was to lose track of the animal thinking she had everything under control. It was no wonder she had yet to excel past being a blade. She was far more cocky than she aught to be. Seconds after she met the ground she let out a yell as she felt teeth sink into the soft skin at her shoulder. Hissing out a curse she did her best to roll and force the beast to let go. Her blades were useless against an enemy that was on her back while she was on the ground.

Thankfully her actions caused the desired effect and she was released from the jowls of the creature. With puncture wounds now decorating her shoulder she glared at the animal. The thought crossed her mind that she should flay the beast and wear it's hide around but a sound to the side made her think better of it. More than likely this one had gone to get more friends. Something she was loath to expose herself to now that blood had been drawn. "You win this time, beastie." V'demhe growled out before she turned and started to retreat. Her long legs gave her a small advantage, of course it also helped that she had killed the radaku's mate and it had stopped to investigate and see if they still lived.
