Trailing behind Checkmate, the blood from the heart the large male is holding is forging a path for the slightly smaller dragon holding the limp newborn foal in partially shredded basket. She reaches over and yanks a feather from Checkmate's wing, dropping it into the basket then bit into her leg, holding it over the basket letting the blood drip into it. ( Cyn is offering a partially shredded basket with dead newborn foal inside it, Checkmate's feather and a blood from her own body) Short IC Response:

One of the night-colored feather from her tail Short IC Response: The night was quiet and the sense of hope fills her heart as she once more steps towards the alter where she had asked for help from the wishing star many seasons ago. It was joyous to be reunited with her brother. Yet.. it only grew the hope that one day her family will all be reunited again. That her dear sister would somehow find her again. With having found Kaitou, her beloved mate. She hasn't traveled so much as she had done when she was slightly younger. She could see her sister in her dreams and she would wake up feeling so racked with guilt for not finding her yet.. Nyx looks up at the sky at the wishing star. It's bright light shining down as she once again stands before it. Hoping.. praying that it will bless her once again and bring her sister home to her. " I seek my sister.. I pray that she may come back . To see her healthy and strong. You have blessed me before and I thank you with my whole being. And I come before you in hopes that with your blessing I may once again be reunited with my sister. Whom I love dearly. Please... If it isn't too much to ask.. Bring her home safe." Standing in silence she finishes her prayer and one request. Moving towards the alter she stops and plucks a starry feather reminiscent of the sky and places it carefully. With a simple nod she turns and walks away back towards her mate.

I have been told that I am very unpredictable. I don't stay in one place that much. I like to be out during the nighttime more than daytime.... uh, you can say that I am a daughter of night."10 Things I Like: N/A (family member) 10 Things I Don’t Like: N/A (Family member) What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Smoldering Feather with few of her bright orange hair strands tied to end of it from her wing, moonstone and a shiny seemingly glowing rock that reminds her of fire and star. Short IC Response: Katilana shifts her weight as she spent a day looking for perfect gifts to offer up to the wishing star that is going to be streaking across the night skies and she looks down in a makeshift basket she got someone to weave for her, seeming to be satisfied with her results. Her body seems to ripple against the night sky background while she soars among the eerily glowing clouds illuminated by the moon and she spots the meadows rich with flowers and others things she wouldn't normally find in other areas. Katilana and her familiar, Andromeda circles around the meadow to scout out the possible dangers and to ensure that she will be alone for what she will be doing very soon.
Seeming to be satisfied that the site is secured, the alicorn sighs as she glides down to the makeshift altar that she created a while ago to place her offerings on it, its just a boulder covered with moss and few flowers and sparkling gemstones. With the thought of her sister upfront in her mind and purpose in her steps, the mare strides toward the altar and places the basket down in front of the altar. "Goddess.. if you are out there.." She looks up at the skies and closes her eyes momentarily while she could hear her sister's laughter in her head like it was right next to her and she had to swallow back a lump while she places the moonstone on the altar. "Moonstone to symbolize the family's loyalty and faith to kingdom of night." She intoned the words as she places the fire-like shiny rock at the north point. "Fire and Star combined to symbolize our colors and where we come from." Her eyes softens as she could see her sister's dancing silver fiery eyes when she teases Katilana about something. "And feather.." She quietly says as the wishing star streaks across the night sky. "and my hair to symbolize the sacrifice I am willing to make to get my sister back."

Meat of freshly killed soquilis. Short IC Response: There have been whispers going around the lands that there's a vicious being that is slowly taking over the land, acre by acre and the viciousness rivals this particular hippogryph's. Checkmate narrows his eyes as he knows that the only level of viciousness comes from his lineage and it have been verified by his daughters so he decided to participate this year when he heard that the wishing star is coming back once again.
"There can't be two monsters here." Checkmate says while clicking his beak a bit before he went after a large unsuspecting soquili and after few minutes, it was all over. "Brother.... or sister..." He hisses the word out as he drags the carcass over, purposefully making sure there's a huge path of blood leading toward the open meadow knowing that his sibling would follow the scent of blood. If the wishing star guides his sibling to him this fateful night, that sibling will surely die quickly because he can't have any competitions at all.
"Ah.. wishing star..." He sees the streaking star crossing the skies and he smirks to himself. "It seems like I have a sibling lurking out there. Lead him or her to me for a lovely reunion." He says the words out loud while the mental movie of him ripping that sibling to pieces and feeding him or her to his beloved daughters amuses him so a crackling laugh escapes his throat. "Accept my offering and bring my sibling to me... please."
