Upon their descent into the vast darkness, Sara's eyes were already in the process adjusting to the dark. There had been numerous times where she had to find her way in the dark, without the usage of a man made light source. Bruce obviously knew the steps quite well, as he lead all of them down to a place that felt damp, yet dry at the same time. There was almost an eerie stillness and uncertainty lingering in the air. And yet, the urgency to resolve this trespasser issue still remained. Everything else would just have to wait.

"If it wasn't obvious already, I know you're the vigilante from the other night. The one specializing in sonic weaponry."

Feeling their forwards movement cease, as Bruce addressed her by tone and then light. Closing her eyelids momentarily, before trading a glance in Bruce's direction.

"And now you know that I'm the Batman."

Did it mean that Sara Lance looked at Bruce Wayne differently now? With the big reveal that he was Batman? No. She still saw him for who he is. What he represents, as well as what he does for Gotham City. Sure there was probably another way, for them to reveal who they are to one another. For when they apply the mask, blend with the night and fight for justice. A calling, that not all are able or willing to do. Only certain key individuals become vigilantes, to fight and put things right. To take a stand up against those who would oppose and do wrong. Sara was certain, she didn't have to explain as to why she said what she did, or how she transformed. She had a feeling that he knew. That Bruce Wayne knew only too well. On some level, the two of them had more in common then the average Joe. An understanding.

"We'll have to explain this later, Ms. Lance. As of now there's plenty to be done in a very small window of time."

Sara nodded her head towards Alfred's statement, "I'm here. I'm here for you." Ready and willing to lend a helping hand. Trading a glance between Bruce and Alfred. Whomever decided to invite themselves on property was about to wish they never set foot on the estate.

The small group of men teared the small study apart. Throwing bookcases to the floors, flipping the desks, and looking for just about anything that could have led to Bruce Wayne's sudden disappearance. While shutting out the rest of the noise, Gaines examined the room further. He peered out the window, pressing on it just in case it did in fact actually open. To his surprise, it was just to view the lawn's scenery which was now penetrated and look a little different with two black security vans outside. It most likely look much worse exterior wise. Communicating through grunts and pats, Worthington was trying to lead his small squad over to the silver knight armor. "What do you see, boy?" Gaines joked obviously to Worthington's dismay. Worthington gripped the shoulders of the armor, flinging it towards the wall. Each piece falling all about in the floor with a metal clang sound as they hit.

"What the.." Gaines was beginning to piece things together , examining the wall closely. He knocked on it once, getting a hollow like feedback. "You know what to do." The militia man backed away from the hollow wall while Worthington put his fist straight through, rapidly tearing away at the wood. The dark stairway, not even lit came into view for the men to see. "Boys, looks like we've stumbled on the motherload.." The secrets Bruce Wayne kept would be known to them all and it was so easy. Gaines and his squad aimed their weapons forward as they crept down the stairs, expecting a fight.

Though he would have liked to have done it in a more serious manner, he was more than happy that he was able to trust his secret with another person who saw views similar of that to his. It wasn't very often. Bruce went over to Alfred as the butler went to town on the keyboard. The monitor displayed cameras that watched over the manor to display the security systems placed conveniently all over the perimeter. From knock out gas to non-lethal projectiles, in and out of the manor, they wouldn't be leaving here without a good fight. Bruce stared off in the distance looking at the display case that housed his dark blue and grey suit. No point in changing as it would be fairly obvious that Bruce and Batman are one in the same to the attackers.

"Master Wayne, this is urgent. The squad of armed men located the cave entrance!" Alfred spoke frantically realizing they would be down in moments as they made their slow and careful descent down into unknown waters. Bruce recalled Sara's weapon of choice and acknowledged her willingness to help in this situation. Quickly he made his way over to what was commonly used as the area to train and hone his fighting skills. An assortment of metal and wooden weapons were held in the grasp of the rack that held them in. He gripped a metal staff, holding up high enough to lift it from out of it's place. "I'm sure you know how to use this," He didn't give her the weapon as a way of saying she needed it, but it was better to have them all in their element to be able to expel the threat and fast. Bruce positioned himself with a taser, shaped like a bat at the top of the igniter. He stood to the right of the entrance, ready to take down at least two of them when they showed their black garbs around the corner. He'd nod to the other side of the entrance, gesturing to Sara to following suit on the other side.

He could hear them, too close for comfort. A lone combat boot appeared from the around the corner. The only one visible was Alfred sitting at the Batcomputer. Bruce pulled the man in by the collar, bringing him down to the floor followed by a swift shock to his neck. The next one aimed his weapon right at Bruce but even the slightest bit of hesitation was used to his advantage. Bruce used a quick parry maneuver to knock the firearm out of the equation while deliver a few swift knee shots to his stomach and finally with a hard well placed punch from his left hand.

"Master Wayne, this is urgent. The squad of armed men located the cave entrance!"

Hearing a slight panicked tone, escaping past Alfred's lips when he alerted both of them that they were about to have company joining them. A lot sooner than anticipated. Whoever decided to make their presence known was going to be a mistake. One they would regret. Watching as Bruce moved across the room towards an area that had a multitude of weapons on display. Perhaps a training arena.

"I'm sure you know how to use this."

Approaching off to Bruce's side, nodding her head that she knew exactly how to use the metal staff he was handing over to her. She didn't need a weapon to cause damage. She was a weapon in all intensive purposes. Sara trained with the League of Assassins and became an assassin herself by swearing her allegiance to them. Four years of training in Nanda Parbat, taught her discipline, strength that could be used from within and out, as well as having a high tolerance for pain. Something that no crook, street thug or hoodlum could measure up too. Hearing the motion of cautious footsteps making their way down the stairwell, Sara moved into position, away from sight.

Seeing two men foolishly take a broad step into view, as Bruce apprehended them. Not allowing either to be able to retaliate. Hearing safety being removed from a semi-automatic rifle, aiming towards Bruce, the gunman never knew what hit him. The distraction was some objecting being shoved by force into an unprotected jawline, knocking the gunman off balance. Rotating the metal staff within her hand swiftly in a counter-clockwise motion in and against the man's face. Ramming the staff to the extent of breaking the nose, cracking and high possibility of teeth being knocked free from the man's agape mouth. At the same time, using her free hand, to strike against the median nerve located along the upper arm and near the shoulder. In doing so she rendered her would-be attacker useless. Watching the man instantaneously drop to the ground with no control over muscles, leaving him in a paralyzed state. At the same time, Sara felt someone from behind grab her. Causing the staff to be knocked free from her grasp. Dipping her head in a forwards motion, Sara then used momentum and force to bang the back of her head into her attacker. Feeling the man's grip loosen, she was able to shift her right and left arm in a forwards, downward rolling movement, providing some space between herself and her attacker. Taking the time to drop her form close to the floor, to use the heel of her shoe to make impact in against the man's knee. Hearing the second gun man shriek, in response to the attack. She took it upon herself to b***h slap the guy's face with the ball and inside of her shoe across his jawline. Two down on her end, glancing towards where Bruce and Alfred were located at, she took a moment to give the darkened path a secondary look, to see if anyone else had the balls to join in on this dance.

Just as expected everyone but Worthington fell to the might of not one but two highly skilled vigilantes who did this in their sleep. Gaines was completely unresponsive leaving the controlled soldier of Ramon Worthington to go ahead and finish the job. "I care little for Wayne's companions, do as you see fit but know that I want him alive. Show them how far I've come along in research." Coupled with the injections and painfully quick mental torture, Hugo Strange found out how easy it was to take free will, as if plucked from them like punishment to a child. A loud grunt could be heard from the stairwell, nothing but silence as the crashing of Worthington to the floor came about. As quick as he went in, he started to thrash about violently. Hard punches aimed at Sara Lance towards her face and torso. Strange Strange let a pleased smile show how he felt about the situation. One of his greatest creations yet. From the body camera on Worthington's front and back, Strange took note of any sudden movements the man would try and make.

Erm and the rest of his squad steered clear of the initial plan, looting and grabbing at anything valuable. Their pockets couldn't hold much but anything that even shined the right way to Erm was up for the taking. "Easy job, right? That meathead Strange whipped up in his freak lab is gonna rip richboy a new one,"

The attack came swiftly, feeling the initial punch to her torso. Maneuvering her feet backwards in a sliding motion to weave and block with her body, arms and hands. The majority of the punches thrown her way by the new opponent on the floor was focused more it seemed at either her face or torso. Every time a fist was tossed at her, she blocked with the circular motion of her hands. He wasn't going to be a push over like the others were. Gripping the floor she somersaulted backwards to give her some better ground. Reaching up she removed the earring from her right ear. Flinging it in the direction of her opponent's neck, attempting to have the spiraling earring to make impact along the raised jugular vein in the guy's neck. This was no ordinary earring. If the earring made contact with her assailants neck. The bedazzling earring with precisely cut diamonds would latch on and drag in a clawing motion along across the assailant's neck. A few cuts may seem minor but there was a reason as to why she aimed for that spot. Standing in a fighting and defensive stance, she took the time given to her to get her breath back before going for another round.

Racing to GCPD to answer the call from the Batsignal since it had been up for almost thirty minutes, which was unusual. Once he got to the rooftop, he slowly approached the commissioner who was waiting patiently for Batman. Gordon turned slowly expecting Batman to be there, without making sure of who it was, he spoke. ”I didn’t think you were going to show Batm-” Cutting himself off as soon as he saw it wasn’t the Bat of Gotham, then speaking once more. ”Nightwing? You don’t usually answer the signal, so where is he? I’ve been up here for almost an hour and no sign of him.” Gordon walked over to spotlight, turning it off then went back to Nightwing for his question to be answered.

He hesitated at first to answer the question, since he didn’t know where Bruce was either. As he spoke you could hear his tone of uneasiness since Gotham was a sitting duck with Batman not around. ”I’m not too sure, but I’m going to find out. While I’m up here, what did you need? I’ll get it to him once I figure out where the hell he’s been.” Gordon handed him a folder with a few papers and pictures in it, he quickly glanced in it once it was handed to him. From what the pictures showed was vehicles that looked like a militha.

Quickly speaking again, then turning to look over at the city. ”Let him know to tell me if he knows anything about it, and thanks for not keeping me up here any longer.” He turned back to face the vigilante for him to only see that he had disappeared, smirking then saying one last thing before returning back to his office. ”Every damn time.” As he returned to his motorcycle, he started it up and made his way quickly to the Batcave. After making his way out of the city, he tried calling the Batcave before approaching the secret entrance and no one picked up.

He quickly hit the breaks to his motorcycle, making a complete stop. He tried to call Wayne Manor to see if anyone had picked up, and once again no one did. All he thought about was how weird this night was getting, so instead of heading to the cave’s entrance, he made his way to the back of Wayne Manor where no one would see him approaching it and also could hide his vehicle. After a few more minutes, making his way to his destination and parking his bike.

Placing his helmet on the seat of his bike, he pulled out his grapple gun to get to the rooftop to look through the skylight to see if everything was normal. As he quickly zipped up to the rooftop he glanced through the windows and saw the place trashed. Once he got up to the rooftop, he made his way into the manor through the skylight, using his grapple gun to repel into the great room as he did he could hear the intruders. Immediately as he touched the ground, he crouched and made his way up the stairs to where all the ruckus came from. Whoever it was, they were in trouble.

Worthington fought with sheer ferocity, his punches more violent than the next. She was putting up a good fight but nonetheless, she would fall very soon. Hugo slammed the desk in front of him as he stared angrily at the monitor. He spotted the swift movement Sara made with her jewelry. A smart move using the dangerously small choice of fashion as her weapon. The piece sliced his neck, just as intended. He'd stop his onslaught to take in the fact that his skin was cut. With a few loud grunts, he gripped his neck with his left hand but continued his charge. He remained vigilant but the anger overcame him. He threw his fists to the wall, breaking several areas. "Mr. Worthington, remember the mission. You are to apprehend Mr. Wayne. The woman before you means nothing to our goal." Despite the conditioning to make the subjects heed his commands, Worthington was free of control, acting only on primal instinct to fight what's angered him. The blood was beginning to seep from the wound, more and more till it flowed out like the stream from a river. In his shrouded mind, Ramon was only worried about killing his opponent. He pulled his fist back to take a swing at her lower abdomen.

Topside, Erm and the rest of his fellow men were busy stuffing their pockets full. Now taking the space in their bags to put the valuables in. From necklaces and other forms of jewelry to even the expensive soaps from the bathroom. "I know Wayne's got some super secret safe where he stashes all his gold. Gotta be around here somewhere." Erm left the others to walk into the hallway to explore the rest of the manor. He whistled lightly to himself moving at a decent pace. They could handle themselves, surely, though communication was not the strongest of traits among his compatriots. "W-what the hell?" His sentence was broken off by the sight of a crouched vigilante directly in front of him. Now would have been a good time for lethal ammo. "Guys it's one of those batfreaks!" Erm shouted from the hallway.

Her opponent was injured. Good! Sara didn't waiver in the fight. She was however, taking note to the fact this guy seemed to be pumped up on something! Reminded her of a time when Roy Harper had been injected with the Mirakuru drug. Was it possible? Could mirakuru be back on the streets? Or was this something else? She wouldn't lie, her stamina was being stretched in the heels and dress she was in. Doing her best to block the next attack, the force upon the man's fist hit her hard enough that it knocked her backwards, which caused her to flip up and over onto some railing, ten feet away from where her attacker was. Crash landing on her side, she knew she heard something go crunch on her body. But now was not the time to see what made that sound. Rolling away from the railing, as she managed to toss off her heeled shoes in the process. Taking the time to get her bearings, as she pushed her body up and down low into a crouched position, along the floor. Sara had much better balance now that the heels were gone. Seeing that part of her dress was ripped, she was surprised that the material had lasted this long. Let alone in a fight of all things! Looking off to her left she saw Alfred not too far from where she was. Returning her attention quickly back at the wounded party, then off to where Bruce was. She sensed that this fight was far from over, at least the beast was wounded and hopefully his stamina would begin to falter so that they could end this.

Even while armed with a shotgun, Alfred was weary of going up against the raging militia man. Fearful that normal ammo would not work, Alfred took up the weapon and moved slightly to a safer area just in case, a vantage point to be exact. His work was done on the Batcomputer, having alerted help and activated anything useful inside the Manor just in case the others fell in the right place for them to be set up. "Oh dear.." He muttered to himself.

Bruce went about tying the men around the loose areas of the cave. Such as the crevices and jagged parts that were visible. They wouldn't be getting away and that could lead them to ask questions when they came to. His attention, completely faltering from the normal gunmen was fixated upon the raging brute that damn near jumped over a dozen steps to ultimately crash between Sara and Bruce. Knowing that they were most definitely here for him, he could really feel in himself how surprising it was that the brute had made no moves to subdue him. Bruce wouldn't stand and watch her deal with the threat alone. He loosened the tie around his neck until only a few seconds later it was off and falling towards the flooring. Much better and helped with maneuverability. With a running start, he leaped into action taking up the tasers at his left and right to latch onto the back of the strongman. The middle area of his left arm was becoming drenched in his pouring blood from the wound inflicted by the carefully thrown earring. He took his right arm, jabbing the taser into the other side of his neck to slow him down.

Hugo slammed on the desk in a frustrated frenzy. He was loosing composure as he was viewing the footage of the two fighters making quick work of his creation. Once Strange got his hands on Ramon, he was no longer an equal human being. Merely his test subject to do as he saw fit, despite this, he felt a sort of responsibility for him as he now claimed the young man as property. He punched in new commands to quickly take control of the situation, to at least subdue the two of them before he would eventually succumb to his wounds. "Mr. Worthington. This is your master, Hugo Strange. It's high time that you went about tossing away the trash and got on with the real objective." It was enough to kick the super soldier into gear. Worthington ran backwards as he could feel Bruce's electrical onslaught on his body. He was backing up far enough to smash him against the surfaces around. He would be lucky to hang on. From where he stood, he grabbed hold of one of the cave's natural forming rocks that had a sharp point on it's end. With ease, he chipped it from it's place, walking slowly towards Sara. It was clear to the mad scientist that Ramon Worthington wouldn't last much longer, if at all in the next few moments. Ramon brought the rock weapon over his head, only to ultimately crash to his knees and collapse, succumbing to the blood loss.

Hugo Strange removed himself from the monitor area, seething with anger and it was there to show. He swiped away everything on the counter in front of him. Papers, glassware, etc. all of it falling and crashing to the ground. Two of his hired militia came in to check on what the issue was. "Don't just stand there..Prepare the others," He seethed with heavy breaths inbetween.

Sara moved to position herself ten feet in front of Alfred. Craning her head to the left, listening to bones crack. Standing up in a ready stance as she watched Bruce put his two cents into play. By shocking the hell out of their opponent. The way the brute moved, wasn't natural in any form. As if he was being controlled like some kind of artificial intelligence robot following orders. This doesn't know when to quit! Watching the buffoon, run away from Bruce after being delivered shock therapy. When was this energizer bunny's batteries going to run dead? Seriously!

Fffffffff! Never finishing her thoughts, as she readied herself for the big guy as he made his way back towards her. This is going to be a long night.... Keeping her eyes focused on the assailant whom started his approach, with a new weapon in hand. There was something different about him then, it seemed time ran out, as well as his blood. Watching the man finally succumb to defeat and collapse before them. Sara waited a good amount of time before moving from her position. She had known fighters using this technique to feign the party involved. It was over, right? Trading a glance over at Bruce, before back down at the pallor color pooling along the darkened floor.
