The Cat O'Nine Tails Cafe is a seemingly personally owned and family run business located in the more quieter section of New York. The Cafe offers coffee, tea, milk drinks, ice cream, milk shakes, and nine specialty dishes.
In it's home universe, it is secretly a N.S.H.U. run business. A place many of it's heroes drop by on their days off for a discounted meal, or to use as a drop off point when it's not possible to send something strait to headquarters.

 Six-Armed Spider-Man enters the shop with a stuff rhino in one of hands. Spider-Man's costume is torn and battle damaged, there are also cuts an gashes in his skin and Spider-Man has a bit of limp. Spider-Man walks up to the ordering counter. "Uh...Is anybody here? The door was open, I'm not sure if it's business hour right now."

After a moment, a young woman came out through the employee door behind the counter. The girl, couldn't have been older than sixteen, wiped her hands on her apron as she came up to the counter. "Sorry about that. We're busy filling an order for later toda- whoah." she said, looking up at the Spider. She stood there for a long moment, staring... then held up her finger in a 'one moment' gesture. Then ran back through the doors to the kitchen.
"Aunt Linda! We got a fix up!" she called from behind the door. Then she ran back through the door and moved behind the counter. "Uh... you'd better come around back here. Can't make a mess of the restaurant area, you know?" she said, then motioned for him to go to a side door on the other side of the counter.

Spider-Man watched the girl run in and out of the back door. "A-are you sure? I just wanted some ice cream and a friend recommended this place. I don't want to be any bother to this fine establishment you've got here." Spider-Man walked around to behind the counter into the back door.

"Trust me, it'll be easier on us if you come to the back and get cleaned up a bit. We get anyone walk by and see a tattered costume and decide the want to see how battered you really are. Battle indoors is harder to clean up than stitching up a costume." the girl said. Giving him a small smile.

"Well. if you insist." Spider-Man walked into the back room. Taking off his gloves and checking the weight of the web shooters. "Are you guys some sort of undercover Night Nurses?"

"We're part of the N.S.H.U. But... with the whole universal merging thing that's happened, we haven't heard or seen anyone from headquarters in quite some time. Normally wouldn't just pull a costume into the back like this in such a case, but your costume is famous in New York. Apparently. Don't have anyone like you in our world, but you're famously a hero here. So you can be treated as any other N.S.H.U. member that visits. Getting out of sight and bandaged up is sort of a free service here." the girl said as she followed him in. "My aunt will be in to see how she can help At the very least, she can whip stitch your costume so it doesn't look like you just came from a fight. What kind of ice cream did you want? I can get it while we wait on my aunt to finish cooking the burgers."

Spider-Man was a bit baffled. He really shouldn't have been because he is from another time from his Earth but the whole merging thing still gives him chills. "Vanilla, please. Also, can you explain to me what N.S.H.U is? Is it like S.H.I.E.L.D? Those fellas bug me out always trying to take control of every situation with their flashy agents and stuff."

"Oh, that's right..." the girl said as she moved over to the freezer. "Since N.S.H.U. doesn't seem to be in this world, you wouldn't know what they are. And we don't know too much about your S.H.I.E.L.D.... but from what we've heard, I guess they're kind of the same. " she said as she brought out a tub of vanilla ice cream. "The National Super Human Units. I guess the easiest way to describe it is one great big organization that is made up of meta humans and special agents. The main branch and agents do a lot of government and world wide work. The off branches are pretty much all of the meta humans and superheroes that the N.S.H.U. has all over the place. There's usually at least one team in every city throughout the US. Our New York had at least... seven major super hero teams, not counting the N.S.H.U. headquarters." she continued as she got the ice cream ready to be made.

"And you said you haven't heard back from your HQ. I guess the escalation in superheroes and powerful other-worldly beings have something to do with it. Do you have any clue about what might've happened? I could take a look for you."Spider-Man rested his hand on his chin, scratching it slightly.

"Thanks, but... if no one's come here or even called, then we doubt the N.S.H.U. has made it to this world. Our location isn't different from our world, so we would have easily been found. There's only been one agent come in from our world, and she hasn't heard or seen from them either. And if the would try to get a hold of anyone, it would be one of their top tier spies." the girl said as she got his ice cream ready. "With all the different buildings and places missing, my aunt figures that... they are still back on our home world. Maybe they'll make something to come here, but we doubt that will be any time soon. I mean, they have teleportation technology, but it only works for established locations. They're still working on coordination models, so I doubt they could go across universes."

"Hey. You never know if you never tried. We're on an Earth merged from two Earths. There are superheroes flying around everywhere. There's more me's than I can count. If you would've said any of these things a couple years ago I would've laughed in your face, but now the impossible is a pretty normal thing. I could do you a solid and find someone who has some sort of experience to look into it for you. Just say the word."His eyes narrowed a bit as a show of seriousness.

The girl glanced back towards the door to the rest of the kitchen, then back over at Spider-Man. "Well...I did have some friends in the N.S.H.U." she began. "And it was nice having super heroes come over and hang out when they were off duty and out of costume. I've got three notebooks full of autographs." she said with a small smile. "If... you can find more people from the N.S.H.U., or see if any of them really made it into this world or anything, that would be awesome."

"Can I see the autographs? Maybe I might find a superhero I'll recognize or something. Did you check to see if the base (if you have a base) is still intact?"
Spidey looked at the security camera. and turns away nervously.
"Also if anybody comes in looking for me, I was never here."

Edmond had chosen to bring the device into the cafe. On his way he had picked up a brown paper bag and changed his clothes so he would appear more or less normal. He was surprised to find the cafe relatively empty but he heard voices in the back. It didn't seem worth investigating and he didn't hear any signs of distress so he just waited at the counter repeating what he was meant to say in his head over and over again.
